I am getting teeth pulled today! Have u had any teeth pulled
I am going to the dentist today to get 2 teeth pulled! In the past 13 years of my life I have had 8 pulled. Soon it will be 10! I am scared!

Holy crap, 10 pulled? I've gotten 4 pulled, but that was because I was getting braces and they had to be gotten rid of fast. But 10? Dang...

Yaaaaa..... My teeth are really weird I can't lose half them so i had to get them pulled! I am getting braces............ but not today! I have to get paintings on my teeth and I have to get a consultation about braces!

I once got 5 pulled at the same time
Those bastards didn't give me enough numbing stuff, and I couldn't even keep my teeth. And, I bled all over my shirt when I got home. Be prepared to eat pudding for a few days? xD That's what I remember doing. |
I had my four wisdom teeth surgically removed, and I was awake for it. The best advice I can give you is to concentrate on something else and try to ignore the fact that you're having a tooth pulled. There's... really not much else you can do.
It does suck though. Two of the four I had removed were impacted. I won't go into details because you shouldn't have to hear them just before going to the dentist. Just tell yourself, "I've done it this many times, so I can do it a couple more." <3 Good luck with it! |

I've had about six teeth pulled. And really, I've never seen it as a big deal. Your mouth is completely numb at the time - You feel nothing, even if physically watching the dentist pull the teeth out is a little disturbing.
Worrying about it ahead of time is just going to make the procedure worse. You've done it before, you'll do it again. Don't be afraid to speak up is you think you need more of the numbing agent, or gauze, or if anything little thing at all is making you uncomfortable. |
Um i am scared of the needle's last time when I got 4 pulled they gave me six! and i have only had needle on the bottom because i have only had teeth opulled on the bottom but this time they r going to b on the top of my mouth! Will it hurt more than the bottom?

I had one baby tooth pulled when I was 10 to make room for them to fix my bottom teeth, and if my orthodontist had half a brain I would have gotten the same adult tooth pulled.

I have had 7 pulled and cut out at the same time, and I had one pulled out a couple of years ago, so I have had 8 total.

I've never had any teeth pulled, but I heard that it hurts like hell. Granted, I never had a lot of candy and sweets when I was younger, so that might have something to do with it - well, that, or I'm just lucky. I almost had a cavity once, but I got it checked out in plenty of time so they just filled the tooth in with whatever. So I've never really had any problems that are mouth-related. I suppose it's a sigh of relief. ^^;

I had two wisdom teeth pulled because my jaw wasnt big enough for my teeth to grow in correctly D=
they stuck a needle in the top of my mouth to nub and I just sat there while they saw, tugged, and sewed Dx it was the weirdest thing..>> then I went outside and vomited blood D= but I got icies for three days and then all was good Dx wasnt allowed to have anything else so I bought banana and fruit baby food :D |
I had some teeth pulled last month, and it wasn't half as bad as I thought. It was over shortly, though the tooth was loose anyways.
Will you be numbed, and how loose is the tooth that is getting pulled? |
I don't know how many.. xD Back then they would just fall out when they're loose..but then if they're loose when I go to the dentist, they pull them out for me. D: Oh well, I don't have any more baby teeth so that's good.. :lol:
It doesn't really hurt when they pull them out, does it? I mean, you've already had 8 pulled out, so you shouldn't be that scared anymore.. :? |

ROFL if you've already had 8 teeth pulled then why're you so scared?
It doesn't even hurt. They give you the Laughing gas then the novacaine which feels like a tiny pinch then once they get started pulling your little teethies you don't feel anything but pressure. The laughing gas is the best part though XD Better hope you get some :D |
I haven't had any of my teeth pulled, so I really don't know what it's like. I'm at the age where my wisdom teeth might start growing in, though, and I'm scared I'll have to have them pulled. Dx One of my friends has to get all four of hers removed.

OWWWWWWW i am back fromt the dentist and they did not give me laughinhg gas they gave me numbing agent and it still hurt!!!!

I think i've had two teeth pulled in total, never much cared, i was to young to remember, and now i'm too old to care. IshokuOsero, they sedate you or give you a numing medication. So no it doesn't hurt alot, your just left feeling puffy faced the rest of the day.

Had a tooth pulled out once in Russia, they used the needle so far in my mouth that it felt like somebody was cutting me there.
Also, Ive got like 6/7 cavaties right now xD Way to go me. |
