-Do you leave some sort of marking, link, or unique signature on your artworks?
yea, i do. just a signature of my name, its supposed to be a simple one.. id like to see whether someone actually erase it away..ive got one customer ( luckily only one ) who did that, so i signed my name really close to the art... -Do you watermark your works? Excessively even? id never done that. i found it pretty annoying ;S sometimes, even a simple art done in paint is watermarked..whats the big deal, i dont think anyone really wanna steal that one...unless its something that took hours to finish it, then i think the owner pretty much deserve to do what he wants.. -Do you leave little disclaimers not to steal your works? i dont, because 98% of them just take it as they wish... -Just how paranoid are you about others taking credit for your hardwork and talents? i dont know, never been in this situation so far..but i think i may get quite paranoid only if they're boasting as if they were the one who made it... -How do you interpret someone who draws their character in a pose EXACTLY like yours with the same expression, mannerisms, etc? Is that plagiarism? to be honest, it'd be quite annoying if only they sell those drawings...but if they asked for permission first or maybe they were just practicing some sort of styles, then its totally fine with me =) |
