Ice cream I can find subs for, but it's too cold to have right now anyway..lol
I have had it will sunflower oil and a no salt herb blend with edamame beans. It's good in salads and I recently had it with tomato basil sauce and it was good. I am going to try a few more ways, I am just experimenting with it right now. I want to make some patties out of it too. |
I have yet to find a substitute for ice cream that I like as much as ice cream... We have a love hate relationship... I love it... It hates me... I need to pick that up today too ><;

Jazzy, I am going to try a couple recipes with coconut milk and one with almond milk. I will let you know how they are.

Soy milk I have tried and it's not to my liking. Sugar content is a bit high as well.
Oh...definitely going to get some quinoa and experiment with it. Ugh, the ankle is killing me something fierce right now. Had thought to play with the husband tonight, but not now. Afraid to hurt my ankle anymore then it already does. |
I don't do soy. Not a fan and too much controversy..though I will have edamame beans and silk for coffee here and there.

I do like the almond and coconut milks. I really liked the unsweetened chocolate almond with a bit of stevia stirred in.

Ate pizza for dinner...feeling like a heifer now. *flops on couch* But it tasted so good and the pain meds are starting to help get rid of the migraine that's been building all day.

I loved my root canal O_o; I didn't get pain meds for it, it didn't hurt at all... Now my stupid crown I got have been hurting for almost a week now :( **big hugs** I feel your pain... My wisdoms were taken out when I was 19 years old, I don't remember much of it other then my mom wouldn't let me take the vicodin the first day because I had to take my youngest brother to flag football practice and I had never been on hard medications before so I couldn't be sure if I could drive on it or not ><;

Vicodin is a class B drug and you shouldn't drive on it, which is why I don't drive when I am taking Percocet. That's stronger then Vicodin, better safe then sorry.
Never had a crown either, doesn't sound pleasant. Going to drive myself to work tomorrow, hopefully the foot is up to the task of using the clutch. Only issue with having a stick shift, when you hurt your left foot or leg it affects your shifting ability. |
Oh I had mine out a few years back. I was put out and they also removed some bone as they were impacted...not fun. I had Perc also, strong stuff!
My tooth is fine today, I go back in 6 weeks for the permanent crown. I hate dental stuff... Jazzy, your mom wouldn't let you take them and you had to drive people somewhere?? I was resting on meds after my removal!! ouch!! Poor you! |
My parents let me drive to the ice cream store on the other side of town after I woke up from the meds they gave me for surgery. Took the vicodin when I got home from the Ice Cream store.
No impaction for me, thankfully. Hear those are very painful. |
I think the worst part is the healing pain as the bone knits back together?

We were suppose to head over to my friend's house tonight to do laundry, but she has backed out and is going to hang with her boyfriend. *shrugs* Whatever. Wouldn't irritate me so much if she hadn't been the one to suggest us coming over tonight. |
I had two impacted... I was not put out just shots... I got vicodin and HAD to drive my brother to his flag football practice... So my mom told me I COULD NOT take the medication until I got home from that I had my teeth done at 2PM my brother had practice from 4-7PM... :/ I was minding Michael and MISERABLE... I took half a pill when i got home and minded Michael until he went to bed. Woke up the next day and took the other half so I could do my paper route... I think I took the whole pill around noonish... And well... I passed out... Luckily the next few days I did fine with just regular tylonal after that :/

Makes me want to smack the crap out of your mother. After surgery like that you should have been able to take the pill and go to bed. Your family scares me sometimes, Jaz.

I took the half pills because I knew I had to mind Michael which didn't bother me... When i took the whole pill I wound up passing out... Luckily Michael did too... Yay cooperative babies... If it were Sean I would have had no such luck...

Leela, so far the weekend has been blah. Got sick off the pain meds, called off shopping at Old Navy. Wasn't feeling being around people their smells. had TGI Fridays...their menu sucks from the last time I was there. A bunch of blah selections in all categories and they didn't carry Tomato Basil soup, those pricks. |
