Spider-man 1,2 or,3?

its a tie with 1 and 3 for me. they both had lots of action.but number 3 was a little disappionting cause of who they made venom into. post back!

Seiki Nova 07-22-2007 08:30 AM

I don't understand what you mean about what they turned Venom into.. :x

Degnne 07-22-2007 05:13 PM

The second is my favorite because I think the action with Doc Ock's arms was well done, and I really enjoyed the story of it.

The third just seemed like a rehash of the first two, just with different villains.

I haven't seen 1 and 2, I got dragged to the local IMAX for Spiderman 3 and did not like it (neither did the guys who dragged me there).
I have heard that 2 is really well made, but 3 was just plain...weird.
Peter Parker dancing around as the bad guy was almost too embarrassing to watch.

IshokuOsero 07-22-2007 10:44 PM

I didn't like the third one... in my mind it shares the same ill fate as Ghost Rider did, because I absolutely hated that movie when I saw it also. Most of the sequels this year were in fact bad (in my personal opinion of course), and this one proved to be of the same fate. How Peter was portrayed when he was venom (outside of wearing the suit), I felt didn't do the justice that was done in the comic books. The singing scenes were too much, and there were two of them (filling in for missing action? who knows), and the dancing around during the middle of the movie was just unbearable.

The first one has to be my favorite and was since the first time I saw it, definitely. I liked the way the script rolled, I like how the actors reacted to each other and how everything was played out. I loved the action, and I liked the storyline a lot. I especially liked how they played into him figuring out his powers (on top of the building was hilarious... "GO WEB! FLY~~~"), and although much of it wasn't like the comics in that movie, it just had something more to it... as if they didn't have to worry about filling in holes in the movie and such. It flowed the best of the three, and I love it.

The second one was pretty good, I liked watching it in theatres and it had some pretty great morals to it. I liked watching the relationship with Doc Ock and all, although the down-point with the movie has to be that he got killed in the end. Justice, I suppose to some extent, but still... villains in Marvel and DC usually hang around for a really long time. Like in the first movie, how the father was dead and yet he still was able to call out to his son and stuff - he still had an important role to play even after his death, but with the Doc it was so much different. He was just gone, that was it, and it made me unhappy. Yet most of the movie was pretty great, definitely.

I haven't seen the third one yet, but out of the first two I would have to say that I like the second one the best. The action was good, he finally manned up and accepted his feelings it didnt' seem to cheesy, and the Doc.. just super cool. very well done. I'm a little scared to see the third one because the reviews I have read are not the best.

Deniece 07-24-2007 04:19 PM

Spiderman 1 was definitely my favorite. I didn't think that I would like it all, cause I don't remember ever being into any of the superhero movies, but Spiderman held my attention from the very beginning and I thought it was a very well done action movie.
Spiderman 2 was ok for me, but not something I would want to watch over and over again. I couldn't really get into the story of it, and it just seemed to drag on for me.
Spiderman 3, I thought was ok. There were some parts that I thought were overdone and the guy that played Venom just irritated me. It had nothing to do with the character, it was just the actor that I didn't like for some reason.

OMG Ghost rider! That movie was so awful, I could hardly watch it. Glad that I waited for the DVD to come out instead of going to the movie theatre. The comparison with Spiderman 3 works, I couldn't have said it better myself...lots of action paired with bad storywriting.
The singing and especially the pathetic dancing sequences (Peter Parker trying to be bad, haha lol!) were beyond awful...

Degnne 07-25-2007 04:36 AM

I actually liked the dancing scene in Spider-Man 3. My brother did as well.

Yami Yuka 07-25-2007 06:38 AM

I havent seen 3 yet, but I like 1 more than 2.

Jax 07-25-2007 08:50 AM

I haven't watched the third. @[email protected]
I need to rent out the dvd for that.
But it's a tie for me for one and two.

Seiki Nova 08-01-2007 06:03 AM

The third wasn't even that good. I thought it was overall very cheesy now that I think of it. Too much going on, and I felt that the acting was flat.

The first one was the best one overall.

Marguerite Blakeney 08-02-2007 05:22 AM

  • I prefer 2 better, but 3 has Kirsten Dunst as a hot waitress XD

Seiki Nova 08-02-2007 05:53 AM

I forgot about her waitressing in the third movie xD Poor girl. Give her a microphone for the stage xD

Marguerite Blakeney 08-02-2007 08:24 AM

  • I know, but I really love it!! She looks cool like that. That's why I RP her XDD

Seiki Nova 08-02-2007 09:24 AM

Ah, that's cool!

Re: Spider-man 1,2 or,3?

I like 2 n 1 but i think the best was the third

Claha 08-03-2007 11:04 AM

I'd have to say my favorite was the first one, most likely because I don't recall most of the second, and the third was disappointing, imo.

Sepha 08-05-2007 05:44 PM

i really liked all of them but the 3rd one with venom he could of been alot better and the 2nd one was more to the story then the action which was still cool :D

Alegretto 08-07-2007 04:33 AM

The third one was made of suck and fail. The biggest problem was that they tried to fit TOO much in, thus making the movie seem disjointed and bad. The only part I liked was the Sandman plotline, because he was well-acted, his parts were incredibly well-written, and the CGI regarding him was just amazing. I also enjoyed Eddie Brock/Venom... well, the little part he got. Damn Raimi for being a Venom-hater.

That movie would have been much improved if they had cut out almost all of the Harry Osbourne storyline (they should have left him at memory loss and being good again). The Emo/evil Parker could have used some cuts, as well, along with all the MJ drama. If those had been done, the movie would have been vastly improved.

As for the other two, I just absolutely love them. Picking a favorite would be hard, but I may have to go with 2. I'm a Doc Ock AND an Alfred Molina fangirl. What can I say? The acting and scripting was tight on the first two, and they kept the real life/heroics at a good balance.

Yet no matter what movie it was, the Jameson scenes were the best. I want PICTURES! PICTURES OF SPIDERMAN! Someone needs to splice together all his scenes for the lulz of it. J Jonah Jameson rules.

hershey3kissed 08-28-2007 08:39 PM

i think the third one was good...i think my faves r the 1 and 3rd ^^ LOL the dancing scene with parker was soo funni! it would be ...embarrassin tho haha
i think the guy in the 2nd movie with the octo-arms was sorta er..weird but i liked it too i guess but sad that harry died =P

Ebuichan 08-28-2007 10:42 PM

I like all 3 parts ....but when i would choose i would say that the first one is my fav.
Why?dont really know...maybe of that fact that Harry osbourne die at the end,and maybe cuz spiderman and m.j. both act like idiots*sry i like them really but in that part they were both just stupid*.
I mean he is so proud of his famous life that he forgot about mj and her emotions,feelings,problems...etc.
He´s just so fixated on beeing loved by everyone that he kiss another girl just the audience sayed he should do it.I mean just think about it what kind of guy is he ?Hes blinded of his stardom....so that he´d not noticed that his gf dont like this kissing thingies and such stuff?
But shes not better then he´s .Losing her role in the theater she didnt told peter what was ...no shes telling it harry and kiss him...
and of course u shouldnt forget the "funny" behavior of parker after the black thingi starts to controll his mind....
Maybe cuz of this facts it isnt may fav.
So why the first once is the best one...?
I would say it is so cuz every first part of every movie is the best one the others are just ok...

Icebreaker 08-29-2007 11:23 PM

the third one was my favorite so far ^_^
the first two were good though

number one sometimes got a little boring though

yeah i also didnt like the fact of who they venom into, and how he didnt really have the infamous venom toungue...i was dissapointed :(

Baja 08-30-2007 02:31 AM

Honestly, I liked number two the best. Soley for the train scene. ^^
I've seen that movie about five times for that part alone. xD

Xia 08-30-2007 10:23 AM

I thought the third one by far was the best. It's because I like how Mary Jane and Peter's relationship got better. The action scenes in the third movie were the best as well.
