Depending on who it is (or what type of person the killer may seem), I'd say:

-BECAUSE ILL BLEED ON YOU AND YOULL GET AIDS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAWR!!!

-Because you'll rot inprison for quite a while.

-Because both my filthy hot current boyfriend and my crazy suicidal ex boyfriend will come after you.

-Because I love you.

-Because you're only doing it because you want attention. I think the best way to get attention is to go outside and stand on the sidewalk and talk to random people rather than killing me.

-Because killing ME won't make YOUR life any better.

That's a tough Question its a good reason your making me think of this now because I couldn't probably think of one right on the spot.

I honestly don't know why I would bother though, they would probably shoot me anyways after I told them :?

I would probably just shrugg it off and be like "I have no money but if you want to take the bills away go right ahead."

A) You'll go to prison, which will result in much more suffering than the pleasure you might recieve from killing me.

B) I have family and friends who love me, who would be sad if I died. Sadness is infectious, and there are many of them who would pass on this sadness. Thus, you would be making the world a sadder place to live.

C) I could probably take out your eye first. I really do want to take out your eye... I haven't had a nice, juicy eyeball in soooo long. ...Come closer.

Here are my top choices, in such a scenario:

1. "What would come out of killing me?" Classic response.

2. "You are talking to someone who is extremely death obsessed. I read about disturbing things, like people getting murdered, all the time, just for entertainment, and curiosity. I think about horrible ways someone could die, and I pretend to stab people online all the time. In addition, I occasionally have fantasies involving murder. Who's to say that I won't think twice about killing you before you kill me?" This one is full of half-truths. Yes, I'm death-obsessed, but it's morbid curiosity, not an actual "LAWL MURDER" sort of thing. In other words, I'm just curious about the subject of death, and I want to become a forensic scientist when I grow up, not some kind of murderer. But I have been known to read horror stories, or things where people die. Yes, I do think about that sort of thing, but, again, morbid curiosity. The pretending to stab people online is about the most true of those, seeing as I run around on Gaia, and "stab" people, by saying "*stabs*" (not in a spammy way, though). I usually only do this when I'm around Gaian friends, though. Yes, I do think about murder, but I stop myself. In reality, I'd actually would hesitate. I could never actually take a human life, who matter who they are, or what they do.

This one could work, if the person got scared, but it definitely wouldn't work if they were killing people they considered "not pure".

3. "If you kill me, my spirit will haunt you for as long as you live. I will appear in your dreams, reminding you of what you did. I will always be right behind you, wanting my revenge. And I will get it. For one day, you will break down because of my spiritual presence, and either confess to the crime, or kill yourself over it. And it will happen, and my ghost will laugh." Whoo. Even if it turns out there are no such things as ghosts, if I am unable to do this, even if there are, or if the person doesn't believe in ghosts, I will still get the last laugh, even if I get killed. Because, even if there are no ghosts, and I'm not there, the words would stick with them, and they could possibly end up thinking about them all the time. Maybe even to the point where they start becoming paranoid about it, and maybe even hallucinate my image. It could reach a point where they eventually break down, because they were a loon to begin with, and they would end up believing it, most likely. They would at least be disturbed by the words.

What makes you think you have the right to take something (a life) that isn't your own, if you are not God?

Who are you to choose the day I die?

What do I have that you don't that makes you feel like you need to kill me?

What happened to you during you life to make you want to kill people?

And of course, my absolute favourite (which isn't a question):

I forgive you for what you are about to do. I only hope God will judge you as I have.

I'd be like "...." in pure shock or speechless or watever. Most likely I'll be killed anyway because I'm deaf ^^;

If that happened to me I would be absolutely doomed, come to think of it. I would be crying and screaming too much to hear and even if he/she did ask, I would get brain-block and be killed anyways. o_O;; Come to think of it, I doubt my death would really be of importance of the world. I mean, my friends and family would be sad for a while. But then that'd be it, the world would still go on. So maybe, if I remember, I'd say "Because I haven't made my contribution to the world yet, I haven't fulfilled my purpose."

Because not killing me would save you the touble of cleaning your knide, evading the police, hiding the body, and destroying all the evidence?

Not to mention the fact that if you kill me I will so haunt your a$$.
