I woke up at 5:30 with a sore throat because I can't breathe through my nose. Fuckin' allergies. I checked my tonsils and they look okay still, so I think it's only allergy-related. I really want to take this Claritin-D, but I took some 24-hour meds before I went to sleep last night, so I can't yet. Boo.

But Claritin-D makes me feel all fucked up, so I'm not really too excited about taking it, but this nose thing has GOT to stop. :roll: WTF it came out of nowhere. I guess Ian got some Claritin-D too and he feels 10x better.

Yeah, it's the one that Collin thought was an anime. BUT i just did some research, and the live-action version and the manga came BEFORE the anime.

Damn. I really wanted it to be the jdrama. :(

Aww that's sucky. I think a lot of people are having really bad allergies right now. I know my coworker is dying! He's got the nasal drip so it makes him feel all nauseous from swallowing it all day. I think he should go home but he doesn't want to use his PTO.

Ya I hate the way allergy medicine makes me feel. I try to avoid taking it if I can. It makes me feel all loopy and fucked up. D:

@Eroy: Yeah, I guess it's a bad time for allergies. I don't ever remember feeling this bad though. :( That Clarinex I took the other day works great -- except it doesn't work on congestion, so that's now my biggest problem. I forget how much it sucks to not be able to breathe out of my nose! T_T

Ewwww. Nasal drippage = grossness. I was thinking about taking a 1/2 day of PTO, but I don't really want to, considering this is my last free day for awhile.

Fucking decongestants have stuff in them that people make meth out of! No wonder it makes people feel all crazy! XP

I haven't had a problem with allergies yet this year.. sometimes, when it's really bad out, they'll get to me a bit.. but I've never had huge problems with them before. From my understanding allergies CAN just come out of nowhere though. Aww poor Sizzla! D:

We have a rally today at work. We get free sharadins and a nalgene bottle XD Last year it was at 3oclock or something so I just showed up for the tote bag and left. This year its from 1-2 so no leaving ;_;

Yeah, I suppose they can come out of nowhere. Seems like they did this year at least! I know KC is a hotspot for allergies right now though. Topeka's even worse. It's got some of the highest pollen rates in the country!

OMG, the neti pot! LOL I just have the turkey baster, remember? It really didn't work that well. I might have to get the real pot instead. XD Everyone swears by it, so maybe I should invest....mmm.

I don't think there are many OTC decongestants without ephedrine in them...I'd have to look into it.

ooh, Sheridan's and a Nagene bottle? Awesome! I love my Nalgene bottle, though i don't use it as much as I used to...I should do that. Sucks you can't leave work though. Boohiss! NO fun. I'm sure they did it that way on purpose.

Pride & Prejudice is actually coming along pretty well. When I left the house, I think it said 8 hours left, so that's not bad. I'll have to let you know when it's done. We'll have a sap-fest!

Ya I think they did it that way on purpose too. I totally left early last year. But ya.. I'm excited about the nalgene bottles. They're supposed to be those fancy ones that have the mouth piece so they don't spill everywhere when you're drinking and whatnot. I think they'll be cool.

How long do you let your car go before an oil change? My car can go 5k miles so I bet yours can too. *nod* Jiffylube or whoever just tells you 3k miles b/c it gives them more business.

Well I couldn't find the pharmacist. She might be at one of our beta sites today.. I'll keep an eye out for her though.

I don't feel like doing much either. Matt and I were going to buy a new Wii game.. it's only one player though so that wouldn't be fun for everyone. I'd be happy with coming over at watching movies.. or you coming over and watching movies. Matt'll probably want to play FFXI.. :roll:

OH! Do you want to go on a walk after work? I asked matt but he's being a punk.

I've actually gotten some stuff accomplished today! I'm so proud. I might come in on sunday though... just to get some stuff caught up. It's nice when no one is here.

Well, I could probably go 5k miles on one oil change, and I'm almost at 4k anyways, so yeah...I just went to Wal-mart last time and I dunno if the oil makes a difference or not. Because I always get the cheap stuff. *nods*

Maybe I'll just wait. I definitely need to go get a car wash and clean out the inside though. It's gross.

And you remember when I pulled up at the lakehouse? Well, there are clods of dirt and grass wedged underneath my car in the piece that connects the back wheels. LOL I figure a good spray with the wand at the car wash will get it out. It hasn't been driving funky or anything, so it's probably okay.

Contacts are damn expensive! It was $106 for 6 months. Ah well...Gotta have 'em.

Whatever's clever. I was thinking about going for a walk actually, but I feel so fatigued for some reason. I wonder if it's that allergy medicine? It warned me about that. But damn, I need a nap for real! Maybe tomorrow we could go walking? We can hit up the path by my house. It's relatively flat (I can't handle too many hills omg so out of shape!) and a pleasant walk. It's really nice out, so I'd like to go, but man, I don't think I can do it. All I want to do is go home, put on PJs and get in bed for an hour or two. And then I might feel differently, but right now it looks like a couch kinda night for me. XP

We can have jdrama fest tonight? Or if P&P is DLed, we can watch that instead.

I don't think it matters what oil you use. I think it's more of an engine efficiency thing, but don't quote me on that. You could call the dealership and ask. It should say in your user manual though. Mine recommended an oil change every 5k miles, and that's what the dealership puts on the sticker on my window. :D

Wow $100 for 6 months? That is expensive.. That's pretty much what I pay for mine though... I buy a year at a time so it's $180 after my $100 rebate.

That sucks about the clumps of dirt under your car. I can see that happening though with the way you scraped the bottom up against that dirt curb. At least it was dirt instead of concrete though.

No walk today then? That's shitty that you're all tired and shit. OH! I talked to the pharmacist lady. She says the pseudoefedrans are the best but if you're looking for something without it you should try musanex (sp?).. I've seen commercials for it.. or a nasal spray. I told her you had a nasal spray but I didn't know what kind. Anyway, she said those would be the best decongestant that doesn't have the efedrans in it.

I think Matt and I are going to the ren fest tomorrow morning. You should come! Bring someone and 5 cans for harvesters. Tickets are buy one get one free with 5 cans for harvesters. We plan on going again the last weekend so we can buy stuff for cheap too.. so if you can't make it this weekend you can always come the last one ^^

Aaah, I thought it had something to do with the oil! But yeah, my service manual says 5k, so i think i'll just go with that. I can usually tell when it needs a change. It gets sluggish and unhappy.

I'm just glad I didn't fuck up the bottom of my car at the lake. I was kinda worried, but cars are meant to take more damage than that, I'ms ure of it.

Well, I looked up musinex, and the one for nasal congestion as pseudoephedrine in it! WTF! It's like the drug of choice I guess. Ah well, maybe I'll take the Claritin-D tomorrow morning, and then I won't have to worry about sleeping for many hours. ROFL And then i'll be all pumped to go for a walk! LOLOL The doctor told me to stay indoors when allergy season is bad, but wtf, I don't want to stay inside when it's beautiful out! :(
