.: Electric Rain :. (Crys&Matt domain D<)

((Sooo, OOCness~: Homg, whut?

So, uh, given this is a private RP centre just for Matt and I, guess 'll make all my info here directed to him~

Yes, I have named this Electric Rain, a play on our LJ roleplay community, RainElectric, reversed due to content. While LJ will focus around our RPs with intention or potential to push the Pg-13 limits to higher grounds, here will be an area for lighter plots. For the most part. I'm all for pushing the limits, but we do need to know our borders so we don't push the ToS to it's breaking point. Should a storyline begin to push it's boundaries, we shall take it over to RainElectric and continue it there, potentially posting an alternate version here, but that's still to be seen, I'd say. XD

I'd prefer to keep any and all RainElectric rps left over there, even if they haven't pushed the rating yet, mostly because of length of level of privacy. Likewise, I don't wish to bring any of our IM based rps here or there, as I like the shortness and speed they maintain. (Don't get me started on our habits to abandon in favour or starting something new... xD)

Anyhow, this will be a grounds for multiple rps in one place, much like RainElectric, so, just like there, I believe we should label each new post/entry with a title so we know which RP we're posting in. I'll edit this post to contain a list of ongoing rps.

I suspect most rps will be Crys and Matt based, but for rps where we may wish for different OCs, and require stats, I can either later late an OOC topic, oooor, post bios up on RainElectric for quick reference skimming. <3

I think that covers it all, I'll edit this later. Onwards to Rps! <3

List of Currently Ongoing Plots:

-Ladybug Waltz (title potentially subject to change)

-Soya Sauce and Paper Cups
-Chocolate Covered Cranberry Kisses))

((OOC: Okay, here goes, first one. Ah, also, debating editing the first post (mostly for the typos and grammatical errors I see. *sigh*) to state that we'll colour code our rps, but iunno, maybe it's a pain to do that? You tell me, hun.

You said to just surprise you, so, uh, I don't have much plot in mind in advance for this one. xD <3 Let's run with it!))

She woke with a start, only to find herself dazed and disoriented. Head heavy like a, big, hard, heavy thing that weighed a lot. She wasn't exactly piecing together the most lucid of thoughts as of yet, or well on the way to a doctrine in the creative written arts, but that was neither here nor there; for the moment anyways.

The last thing she could remember of the days was a fleeting moment of, 'no thank you, I'm not very fond of garlic...' and then blurs.

What followed was very a 'this is not my beautiful house, this is not my beautiful wife!' moment.

The clothes were unfamiliar. She was almost positive she hadn't been wearing them before her seemingly impromptu sleep, but she could no longer remember.

They were form fitting but loose. An airy white gown reminiscent of that which a bride would wear, only not. It accentuated curves in all the right places, creating figure where there wasn't much of one before, and hugged her body close, yet somehow the loose cotton still finding breathing room to billow and make her feel cold. It was almost as if the clothing itself was some unfeeling and indifferent entity (and logically it was), that had come to lay claim to her body, concealing it from the prodding and poking of the naked eye, yet leaving a feeling of exposure and bareness, secretly leaking out her most intimate of details, despite her best and futile attempts to censor herself with arms folded over her body, as bare feet padded on cold cement.

The setting was unfamiliar territory as well. Equally unfeeling and indifferent, cold and distant. A place simply meant to hold and conceal from the public eye. To keep secret from any other than selected souls visions. Stone and ancient, yet with a sickening and unfamiliar modernness to it, as if it'd existed for a millenia, yet only popped up within the last few centuries. Or days.

With notable unsurety only moments ago, she had only just lifted herself from seemingly sanctuary-esque prison, a large structured canopy bed, with intricately carved and delicately designed wooden sidings, and a pearl tinted sheer that had hidden in it's cocoon like atmosphere and down filled pillows and blankets of silk. She now strode barefoot on the floor, wincing upon flesh meeting the cement, a near paranoia and disorientation in her features as she skimmed the pitch black room for an exit.

A desperate call of "Hello...?" proved fruitless, no doubt, and so she passed without uttering one, continuing to scan her surroundings.

A large gothic window to the side of her bed yielded no information to location and instead greeted her with a eerily twinkling three quarter, white moon.

She would have to stumble and fumble to the opposite direction and find a door. And there was much stumbling to be had, she was quickly finding.

A large victorian dresser, a chest at the foot of the bed, and who knows what else was less than gracefully turned over and tripped over until finally feeling her way to a door. It was heavy and wooden, and thick as hell. She knocked unsurely to test the hardness, only to yelp and jerk back a set of very throbbing knuckles. It was going to take her whole body weight shifted to open this door, but who really cared at this point? It was an exit, right?

"Oh damn... this is going to hurt. Okay, on the count of three... One... Two..." She reared back and -unf!- a body check to... damn fuck open door ow. She flew to the ground of the corridor outside the door with a less than graceful "SHIT!" and an 'unf'. She groaned, holding her head and slowly gathering herself up to her feet. More cold met her bare skin as she skimmed. And more pitch blackness. W00t.

"What... the hell... Is going on?" Finally, she let out that unsure call from before. "Hello...?" Annnd, nothing. Fantastic.

He groaned and rolled over in his sleep, immediately falling prey to the fact that there was no more 'over' to roll and that gravity was still very much on duty. POOMF! Ah, and the floor was as reliably present as always as well, he didn't say to himself, as his eyes flew open and many more pressing observations filled his mind. Observations like, "Why can't I see anything?" and "Seriously, there's, like, no light at all.", soon to be followed by "The hell am I laying in a puddle of?", the last of which was thought as he unwisely clambered to his feet in such as hurry as to only stumble across the room and land face-first against what was decidedly a very slimy and ill-tasting wall.

Not wishing to wind up throwing himself against another unpleasantly wet surface, he calmly removed his lips from the slimy moss coating the wall, pivoted, and proceeded to take a wide, stable stance, while he spat and cursed his way into lucidity, calls of "Just what the fuck is going on here?!" echoing their way down corridors adjacent his location. A location which turned out to be, upon his calming down and feeling his way warily around, a small, dark, minuscule, unlit, tiny, light-lacking slime hole of a jail cell. Or at least the wall composed of bars which couldn't decide if they were slimier than they were rusty, and the narrowly missed hole in the ground no doubt intended for waste led him to believe that to be the room's designation.

"Okay", he thought aloud. "Let's be rational about this. Last thing I remember, I was at the bar. Now, I've woken up in a strange place and I can't see a damned thing. Sounds logical so far... Until I throw in the fact that, from the feel and smell of things, it's a bloody dungeon!"

"Kekeke..." Dark, gnarled laughter snaked it way to his ears from what he assumed was the cell adjacent to his, stopping him cold.

"Bloody ain't the half of it, human... this dump is to blood what water is to a swimmin' pool..." The voice trailed off, as footsteps plodded across damp stone, echoing closer in his ears.

Raspy breaths drew slowly, as if working to fill a rather sizable pair of lungs. It felt like he was being watched, now. Not just from across the hall, but in every direction. Not only was he in a dungeon, but it was apparently quite literally bloody? He felt dizzy and nauseous to consider what the puddles and slime he'd been feeling and, at least on one occasion, tasting, had been comprised of. Thoughts swirled in his head, threatening to bring him back down to the ground.

In fact, they did just that. He blacked out

And so in the pitch black and ominous corridor she found herself, feeling very much like something out of a bad slasher flick.

"Okay..." she started to no one, flinching at the slight echo of her voice resonating off the empty hall, deciding to take her tone down a few notches. "So we've got the sexy and scantly clad co-ed... Where's our masked man of terror and his knife wielding ways?"

In truth, she was hoping she wouldn't find the answer to that question, it was seeming all too real at this point in time, and sent a shiver down her spine and made her dress ruffle around her feet.
Or was that the wind?

Man, she was indoors, what the hell was with the constant wind in this place?

The chill made her unconsciously jump and hold herself closer, with a "Brrr... Okay, seriously, what is the deal?"

Well, she couldn't just stand around waiting for a knife wielding maniac who acted as a tour guide on weekends, now could she?

Letting her eyes adjust somewhat to the dark (if at all, given just how dark it was...), she continued her wary and aimless trek down the hall. Soon enough, foot met soft, warm carpet, which was a welcome reprieve from the stone her body was permanently goosefleshed from.

"Well, this is a nice change. Kinda like rolling out the red carpet for me now... I'll just pretend to not be totally creeped out about the fact whoever it was apparently drugged me or some shit. Kidnapped me... Stuck me in this creepy and spidery castle type thing, redressed me..... Okay, well, no, that's enough of that. Not helping. Whoever it was was a jerk. And a creeper. I'm going to sack them. Oh yes. " She clenched a fist to herself, look firm, teeth gritted. They would pay.

"Eh..." she made a failed attempt in the dark to look down, and shrugged. "May as well see, eh, feel where it leads. Can't do any harm at this point..." She sighed. Oh yeah, B horror flick alright. Why did she always attract creepers who wanted to do terrible things to her?

"Look, you're damned near the only one who can put an end to this! You don't wanna play hero for us? Fine. We'll just nuke the whole castle and the two to three thousand innocent inhabitants nearby. Sound good to you?"

"Well, no, not as such..." Matt grimaced at the important-looking government official staring him down. "But how do you expect me to believe all this nonsense? That my grandpa was a vampire, and that because of that I have some sort of 'extra-sensory abilities and strength necessary for hunting vampires'?! I'm sorry, but I'm gonna need a little proof before I consider any of this craziness."

"Actually, it was your great grandpa. Now listen, if what we're saying is true, then you're all the proof you need, boy. Here." He turned around to a table behind him and clicked open a briefcase, fiddling with this and that then turning around with a small cup in hand, filled with a dark red, viscious liquid. "Drink this."

Matt eyed the substance with more than a little suspicion as he took the cup from the official. "And just what will drinking this prove? For all I know, you aim to drug me into believing you."

"Oh, just shut up and drink it, do you really think we'd drag some average joe all the way to the Pentagon, just to make him play make-believe?"

Matt sighed irritably and, against his better judgement, knocked back the glass of what he found to be an oddly appealing-smelling liquid in a single gulp. A strange shiver went down his spine and his hair stood on end. His heartbeat quickened noticeably and he tossed an angry glare at the official. "Just what was that?!", he breathed.

"Blood."

"BLOOD?! Okay, now you're just fucking crazy. Seriously, what the hell?!" Even as he was speaking, reactions were taking place in his body, as the small quantity of blood awakened cellular processes never before experienced. The little specks of yellow regularly present in his eyes grew and spread, making of them a mottled prism of blue and yellow. Accompanying all this, his emotions rocked wildly. "What's happening to me, you?!", he snarled out, starting towards the official with harmful intent.

"Just calm down, boy, this is the proof you were lookin' for. Now before ya go ripping my arms off, you should understand what I mean. I think this'll be best shown with a demonstration." He turned around and emptied the rest of the contents of his metal briefcase onto the table. "Here, this briefcase is made of pure steel." He tossed the briefcase over to Matt, whose hands shot up and caught it instinctually.

"Just why do I care about that?! I am much more interested in that first thing you suggested, at this point.." He angrily flung the briefcase aside, leaving a sizable crater in the concrete wall, where the now-mangled steel found itself a new storage space. The sound of the impact made its way through to him and he cast a double take at what he'd done. Heart still racing in confusion and anger, he redirected his attention to the new development, stomping towards it and leaping over a desk with unnoticed agility. Eyes widened slightly in disbelief, as he grasped an edge of shrapnel and slowly slid it from its concrete prison. "No flippin' way..."

He turned slowly and eyed the official, whose face bore a smug grin. "Okay, then..." Matt shrugged and tossed the scrap aside. "Where was it you said that vampire is that you want dead?"

The official's expression changed to one of slight confusion. "That's all the explanation you needed?"

Matt chuckled in an exhilarated, slightly insane-sounding way. "Hah... yeah, I guess so. I mean, I think I've played enough video games and read enough books to know what comes after the 'character discovers he has amazing powers' part." He grinned evilly. "So we may as well cut straight to the ass-kicking chase..." He slammed a fist against the wall for emphasis, expecting to leave another impressive crater. "Fuck!" Okay, not so much on the impressive. "Lemme guess- wears off?"

"Yep."

"Typical."

Ladybug Waltz

And so here she was, in presumably the middle of the night (though she'd be damned if she knew how long she'd been walking down this pitch black and seemingly unending death hole), barely dressed in some little white, flowy number, with matching fingerless and shredded up gloves (hey, since when were those there? Why did stuff keep popping up here?)((OOC dress ref: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...age/dress1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...age/dress2.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...age/dress3.jpg)) that who knows how she even got on her body, padding along in some mysterious building aimlessly, on what was presumably a carpet. And she was guessing what with the cliche gothic tone this place seemed to hold, it was 'crimson'. What the hell was up with those goth kids always using the term 'crimson', anyway. Did they even know what a thesaurus was.

...And she was singing.

"Bored, bored bored... I am so bored... Really really bored... Oh yeah am I bored~." Not what one would normally expect from one who found herself mysteriously waking up in a scary new place, redressed and skulking quietly along a dark corridor with who knows WHAT just watching and waiting to leap out at her in all the shadows that seemed to follow her everywhere she went and were too large to be coming off her own silhouette. But she was rarely one to go for what one would expect. Being predictible wasn't fun.

Neverminding the fact all of her songs like this seemed to pertain the same tune, and more or less the same lyrics, with a word here or there changed to fit her current situation. That was neither here nor there, for the time being. All she knew was she was creeped out, and lonely, but not really wanting to be found and not wanting to think about who knows what she could think about in this sort of situation. Singing just seemed the obvious option. Keep your mind occupied, keep your breathing steady, pace the same, just keep walking, just keep singing, don't think about that weird creak you just heard off in the distance, it's the wind, not some creeper who's going to jump out and eat you. Not if it thinks you're crazy for singing to yourself, anyway. Though you could be luring it out this way. Damn fuck, why haven't you shutup?

"Oh, I am so going to die." She came to a halt, planting her feet in a firm stance, fists clenched on either sides as she raised her voice. "Well, if you're gonna do it, then get it over with now! I don't have all night and we're not getting any younger! I'm hungry and if you let me just waste away like this I'll be nothing but gristle! I warn you, I'm already pretty bony and wily!" Nothing. Was there relief to be had in that, or not?

That same disturbing wind blew past, blowing up her skirt which she quick clamped down against herself on either side with her hands as hair blew into her eyes, making it all the more impossible to see than it already was.

"Oh, very funny... Come on, aren't we being a little stereotypical here?!" She sighed. "...And I'm talking to the wind. And I'm pretty sure it's laughing at me. Oh yeah, I'm losing it... Might as well keep moving..."

She gathered her thoughts and set on her way again, eyes focusing just enough in the dark to watch the patterns faintly appear then reappear from vision on the carpet, changing shape, size, and colour every few feet, and the faint white blur of her own flesh as leg crossed over leg and foot crossed over foot. She was walking one foot at a time in an almost zigzag, concentrating on her one steps and swaying form side to side as a result. Her head still felt a little heavier than she would have liked, and the blur was growing more hypnotic by the second.

"Left foot, right foot. Left foot, right foot... Left foot, right fo--" FWUMPTH. Suddenly steps were halted, and face met something solid and all too in the way. She mumbled into the wooden wall that had taken her face prisoner and ceased her exploration. "Hello door..." an assumption, at least, as she carefully and irritably peeled her face off and rubbed her nose, checking for all of her teeth. "Ugh... what the fuck..." Some quick and blind feeling about proved her suspicions correct.

"Well, now we're getting somewhere." A quick few minutes of fumbling and fingertips brushed across what she assumed was a brass doorknob. Whatever it was, she pushed.

The door would not go easy, this time it did take a body check. More than one in fact. Painful ones. The ones you'd still be feeling a week from now. But eventually the stubborn oak gave way and the door opened with an ear grating creak.

She took a step inside.

The light was overwhelming, flooding everything and nearly knocking her off her feet as she desperately shielded herself from viewing it directly. Pupils dilated, senses overwhelmed from being plunged from straight black into apparent straight white. She blinked and flailed repeatedly, feeling temporarily blind.

"Oh shit. I'm blind. This is it. I was poisoned earlier, not just drugged. Oh shit oh shit ohshitohshitoh- whoa..." And just like that, vision was back. And drinking in the strangest sight of there life.

"Hello...?" maybe this call wouldn't be as fruitless. It was beautiful, wherever she found herself now.

((OOC: An obligatory light hearted rp this time? Who knows, given the other was supposed to be lighthearted til you got your hands on it! xD Not much of a plot in mind again, but here goes!))

Her ears popped. God she hated that feeling. A stick of hypermint gum popped on her tongue and quickly chewed up should fix that in a jiffy, it better, anyway, or she was going to be one cranky kitty.

Adjusting the earbuds in her ears (damn she hated these, but last time she wore her big dj set in public, they got smashed on the tarmac, not a fun time, especially getting set back a good $40), she hummed along to whatever random tune had made it's way onto her mp3 player. She had stopped really paying attention to lyrics or tune, just taking comfort in the constant background noise. It was neat to have a soundtrack to your life, at least, that's what it reminded her off. (OOC: Gasp! Continuing theme from other rps?! O: Inconceivable!)

A particularly good guitar riff came over her ears, and she found herself adding in the supporting percussion by drumming her studio pen and sketching pencil (respectively) on the wooden table part of the bench she was sitting on in the local park. Once it ended she returned to aimlessly sketching on the page before her, adding loops here, thickening lines there, etching out chicken scrawled notes to herself about this and that.

Lord knows when the company she was expecting would arrive, if at all. They had a habit of ditching her, and they were already late. But she may as well enjoy the sunshine and serenity of being alone to her thoughts for the moment.

Enough air could scarcely be gotten, as he gasped, running flat-out and on the other side of town from where he was headed. The bouquet in his hand was thrashing violently and losing petals as he went, but when he noticed he'd DDR'ed the day away at the arcade and that he was supposed to be meeting Crys at the park in about 20 minutes ago, he did the smart thing and took an extra 2 to pick up some flowers at a nearby store before tearing off in her direction with haphazard concern for the flowers themselves.

Five blocks and more than a few funny looks later, he was getting close to the park, with a familiarly short figure in sight, drumming obliviously away on the bench she was at; no doubt to the music she was so often listening to. He rounded a fence and came half-staggering/running into the park and along the main trail. Red-faced and out of breath, he trudged his way the last few meters uphill to her bench and caught his breath for a second, before cracking a grin and laughing to himself through the breathing. "What's shakin', bacon?", he managed to get out between breaths, before straightening up some and thrusting out an arm to present the floral offering he'd brought with him, now more of a boquet of green-stemmed, largely petal-less plants.

((OOC: XDDD You are such a loser. <3333))

She didn't even bother to look up from her sketch, a half etched out, quite literally man-eating plant. Instead she began shading to accentuate the dripping blood from the right fang, it was a nice fang. Very sharp. She decided he must floss regularly. She didn't.

"You're late." she mumbled at last, setting her pen down and fishing her mp3 player out of her pocket with a sigh and turning it off, tugging one of the ear buds out of her ear and pulling the hood on her hoody down to look up at him. A faint glance at his scraggly and pathetic peace offering resulted in a bemused smirk.

"Sorry, I already ate." As if to add insult to injury, as her words dripped with sarcasm one of the few remaining petals broke off and fell helplessly towards the ground. "Ahh..." she leaned forward and stretched an arm out to catch it, narrowly snagging it before it hit grass. "Hah." She jerked back, inspecting the petal.

"Not bad... What was this, the $5 bouquet? Not bad, you splurged, I'm impressed." She opened her book to a new page carefully settling the petal down on it, then flipping a page over top of that and smoothing it down gently, before firmly closing the book. "A keep sake. I've got a pretty decent collection going from every time you're late, you know. Two more sets of petals and I can turn this baby in to a botanical society for exhibit. Betcha they give me a toaster."

She grinned up at him, leaning over the table of the bench, making sure to show off each and every tooth (fangs included) in her forced grin.

Ladybug Waltz (As if it fits anymore XD)

He watched through what dim light even his large eyes could gather in these conditions, as the human toppled to the ground, no doubt giving himself a good enough knock on the head to keep him there. He chuckled to himself and shrugged. "Just a little blood, boy... nothing to go dying over. Kekeke..."

Just then, a faint beam of light made its way down the corridor, casting dim shimmer to various pools of liquid and red slime as it bobbed slowly up and down, once for each quietly placed footstep its carrier made.

"H-hello...? I-.. -is anyone down here...? I... if there are any vampires down here, I demand you show yourselves! ... Or not, 'cause I'd be totally cool with that too, y'know... I'm just here to do my job.. so, if you could, um.. if you could come out anyway, you know, and, well, y'see, I'm supposed to kill you.."

The babbling fool made his way slowly down the hallway, never seeming to stop in his weak-kneed chatter. An inward snarl and laugh;
"This one's worse than the one across from me!" He quietly crept down near the front corner of the cell, an evil grin forming.

"So, y'know, I have these stakes and.. uh.. I guess this garlic, I heard you don't really like that... yeah.. I just, could you please come out, Mr. Vampire? There's this really big reward if I can kill you, and, well, I kind of have a lot of debt to pay, so you can see why I--- AHHH!" A muscle-bound clawed hand shot from between the bars and grabbed the poor fool's leg, sending him to the ground and his flashlight rolling. The beam happened to creep across his attacker's face, which only caused the extreme horror on his own to heighten, as he flailed and gasped, trying to find any way to escape the strength behind the grasp of what had him by the leg, now pulled against the cell as far as his hip. Panicked, he screeched out, "W-what do you want from me?!"

"
Kekeke.. Not much, human... See, I either want your leg, for a little snack.. Or I want you to use whatever little scrap of a brain you've got to get me out of this hell-hole of a dungeon..." He snarled threateningly, bearing large, malicious fangs and pulling the poor sap's captured limb painfully harder against the bars. The flashlight settled back into a groove in the floor, its illumination now set on the attacker's bared teeth.

By now the man had probably wet himself, not that it would make much difference from the puddles of worse substances he was already lying in, or that either would matter, if the hulk of a werewolf that had him by the leg were to turn said leg into a the aforementioned snack. The fanged attacker growled irritably at the man's continued stammering.
"Look, human, it isn't that difficult. What's going to happen is, you're going to find me a way out of here, and you're going to do it now." "Y-yes, sir... but..." He looked around through the inky blackness. "H-how am I supposed to do that, sir...?" An angrily harder tug at his leg. "I don't care how, you just do it. Now, I'm not stupid. I'm not going to let go of you until I am sure you're gonna do somethin'... so, I'll tell you what..." He grinned and chuckled to himself in his usual gruff, evil manner. "If you get me out of here... I'll help you with this vampire problem you're having... That bastard bat caged me up in here too many years ago for me to not want a piece of him.. I certainly know you haven't got the slightest chance at killing him, but I have..." He pushed the "adventurer's" leg back through the bar a tiny bit and eased his grip. "Simple deal... you help me, I'll help you. I'm not in the mood for leg tonight, anyway... toe bones always get stuck in my teeth, you see... Kekeke... Now, human, get up and find me a way out. It's certainly a much more feasible request for someone as weak as you than killing the lord of this castle." The human nodded silently, gathering his bearings. "Good... " An evil, fanged grin. The werewolf released his grip entirely and pushed the limb back to the other side of the bars, causing the adventurer to fumble against the opposing cell's bars before clambering to his feet. "I... I won't fail you sir..! I really need this money.. I.." "Shut up already and go! Find a key, a switch, a lever, a magic word, I don't care what it is that opens this door, you just go find it!" He snarled and barked every word, showing he meant business. The man quickly gathered a few of his dropped things, scooped up his flashlight, and went running down the corridor in terror. "Y-yes sir..!"

The werewolf slumped down against the wall and laughed to himself. "
Haha... never gonna see him again..."

Ladybug Waltz (or until we find a better name Dx)

There wasn't exactly an answer this time either. Not one that she could understand, at least.

What greeted her instead was the largest gust of wind yet, seemingly pulling her whole body further into this new room and slamming the large oaken door behind her, causing her to unconsciously jump. She was doing that a lot tonight, it would seem. Regardless, it got an outburst of "Are you stalking me already?! Cut it out!" A stomped foot, and a high pitched growl of irritation followed suit.

Back to the matter at hand, she allowed her eyes to readjust again with a few blinks and surveyed the new area. Not that she could really believe what she was seeing. That was also happening a lot tonight. Why trust reality at all at this point? And logic? Oh, forget about it. That was long gone, baby. Along with her sanity, more than likely.

The room is bright. Overly. Really, bright was the understatement of the century. In reality the room was, iridescent, glowing, full of life. Truly, an utter 180 from the rooms she'd explored prior.

An almost unnatural and unnerving serene and warmth washed over her body as she looked up. It was like pure, innocent sunlight was coming at her from every direction. But how could that be...? First of all, it had been night outside, hadn't it? And secondly, wasn't she, uhm, y'know, indoors?

She shielding her eyes from the bright and continued to look around. The ceiling above was glass, as she could see a faint twinkling of stars just beyond. So it was night. What was this? Some sort of freaky greenhouse?

Thick strips of waving light filled the uppermost areas of the room, nearly blinding her as they did upon her entering. Artificial sunlight? Digital, perhaps. You could do just about anything with technology today. But it seemed much more unnatural, almost eerie. She strangely peaceful and calming. What was this place?

The air was thick and warm around her suddenly, almost intoxicating, and she found the sunlight wasn't the strangest sight to be had. She allowed herself to take in the rest of the room and drew in a startled breath, stepping forward to find the soft pads of her feet crunching, what? The soft, green blades of grass, covered in a thick and fresh dew?!

Flowers! Everywhere! Vines, trees, grass, damn flora as far as the eye could see!

And not just you regular, run of the mill, I planted pansies, lawl, flowers. Every exotic and tropical breed you could shake a stick at. Some of which she hadn't even been sure existed before! Scents and colours and unusual sounds flooded her system, threatening to shut it down. It was like sudenly being stuck in a painting. Was that water she heard babbling off somewhere? Ho crap, she'd stepped into Snow White!

"Ohhkaayy..." she heaved. "Well, this is an interesting acid trip I'm having... I swear, if I run into any dwarves, I'm hightailing it out of here. I don't want to see any pot smoking caterpillars, either. This ain't no Crysseh in wonderland." A nervous laugh. If she wasn't sure she was losing it before, this cinched it.

A voice from behind, or maybe in front, no, more like all around, yet just barely a whisper from somewhere purred in her ear. "Sweet child, this is no wonderland..." She could have jumped. Would have jumped. Should have. All the red warning flags should have been going up, and mental alarms should have bee sounding full blast. And yet at that moment, the intoxicating warmth seemed to sink deeper into her bones.

"Hello? Is somewhere there...? Can you tell me where I am?"

Silence. No response. "Hello...? I know I heard something... Look, I don't know how I got here, but I mean no harm, so please..." Still nothing. Against her better judgement, soft feet padded further into exploration.

He just smirked at her quips, assuming as usual that she didn't really mean them. No, he knew she wasn't impressed or in any danger of getting a toaster. They'd give her a blender at best, for that kind of display. "Yeah, well, I... you know me... once I get in the zone on heavy mode, time and space cease to be; it's only me and the machine~" He gestured a smooth wave through the air on that last bit, but she didn't seem impressed by his explanation.

He slipped into the seat of the bench opposing and looked around, before settling his eyes on her sketchbook. "Ahh... eh.. do I wanna know whose blood is dripping from his mouth..?" A nervous glance.

She smirked faintly to herself, again focusing on the sketch rather than looking up.

"Probably not..." she conceded, followed by a sigh and sagging shoulders. "I know you, yes... And some days I wonder why I arrange these little disappointments." Her voice was all too wistful as she propped herself up on an elbow, setting her chin on her hand and glancing up at him with pursed lips, the other hand idly sketching with the occasional quick glance over to concentrate on what she was doing.

He sighed and set the bouquet remnants on the table, crossing his arms on the surface and resting his chin on them.
"Mm... I'm sorry... But do you think I'd have run with every ounce of energy I had left in me just to get here as soon as I could, if I aimed to disappoint you...? Intentionally's one thing, but I just lost track of time a little bit..." He grimaced a little. "S'a pretty day today, we ought to enjoy it as we aimed to, y'know.."

She let out an exaggerated sigh and rolled her eyes, perking up off her elbow and uncrossing her legs, shifting her weight and rolling her body until her feet were on the opposite side of the bench.

"Clearly, sarcasm is truly a lost art on you, my boy." And with that she pulled herself up to her feet with more than a few drawn out and unneeded groans, stretching and yawning loudly, turning to face him again. She leaned over the table again and mussed his hair, before swiping her sketchbook up and turning away again to survey the area.

"Hmmm..." A man playing frisbee with his dog, a young couple rollerblading together and chattering, a happy family having a picnic. "Bleh..." she pouted.

A single drop fell, landing in the palm of her hand and she looked up. "Mm...?" Lips twitched ever so slightly.

At that moment a crack let loose in the sky and gray clouds rolled in like they were racing for a finish. She popped her earbud back in her ear, and pulled her hoody back over her head, hugging herself and her sketchbook close, a smirk curling onto her lips just as a sudden down pour hit. She watched the formerly happy park goers screech and scatter.

"Now, it's a pretty day." She always liked the rain.

He just lay there, smirking, watching the same scene of the park-goers. "Oh well... the rain feels nice, at any rate. Needed a shower after all that work-out."

He sat up and leaned over the back of the bench, letting the rain hit his face.

"Seems suspicious, though... I think you might've put a call in to Thor or one of those other many gods seemingly all in charge of the weather. A few minutes ago, there was scarcely a cloud in the sky, now this?" He couldn't help but laugh, taking in a deep sigh and letting it out along with some frustration.

"A good move, anyway, whatever you did. We both do like the rain, after all." He perked up, as the sky lit up a little in the distance and some thunder rumbled across the sky. "Too bad it can't see to rain without that side effect.."

He heaved himself up from the bench and climbed onto the table, sitting cross-legged and propping his head up on his hands, to continue watching the scatter.

She cooed. "I don't know what it is, but something about seeing people's days ruined always puts a spring in my step." She skipped once or twice in place in emphasis.

"Hrm," she took his words into consideration. "Feh," she breathed at last; "those chumps wish I'd called on them." She paused, motioning with her head behind her towards the clouds. "That was all me, baby." A wicked smile. "You kind of smelled, anyway. Need to wash the stink off."

She twirled on her toes once or twice for the hell of it in the rain, a finger on her head reminiscent of a ballerina. "La~" at least until a particularly loud thunder clap torn through the sky, causing her to yelp and jump.

"Oh yeah?!" She stood firm, glaring up at the sky. "Well you and your mother!" She shouted, before turning back to him, fighting sheepishness with a sideways smirk. "You have to show them who's boss."

He smirked and laughed a little. "Don't need to do my obligatory pit-sniff to confirm that one, I'm sure. But oh~ Impressive, that having been all you... just for future reference, though, 'You need a shower' works just as well, as a hint." He turned, watching her dance and spin in the rain until the thunder rang out and made a quick stop to it, but not so much as to keep her from threatening nature itself.

"Har... well, you're clearly boss around here, I'm amused to say. I ain't afraid of no norse gods, with you here, no ma'am." He smirked and hopped down off the table, strolling over to her and wrapping an arm around her and the rain beginning to soak her hoodie. "Mm... still sorry to've missed what sunshine we could've shared together... oh well.." He looked down into her eyes and tilted his head. "Where do you wanna go after we're done cursing at gods, ne..?"

She scrunched her nose up upon coming in contact with him. "Hokay, you need a shower." Regardless, it was nice to have him near, and she leaned into him some. Any irritation could wait til he really screwed up. She gave him an hour tops, hah.

She sighed to herself, before looking back up at him thoughtfully. "The sun is overrated. All that pigmentation and vitamins and whatnot, we're better without it." She pulled away slightly to look around, pondering. "Iunno... Not feeling very sociable. S'pose we could walk for a coffee, though..."

((OOC: XDD you've surprised me with this plot; I had really thought girlfriends would ditch me, then 'd either meet you the first time, or you'd be that guy I knew that was always trying too hard to convince me to go out with him like the old days :'D xDD really, that plot could've still half worked til you wrapping ze arm around... Could've been meeting just as friends or to do some sort of assignment. Meh, what's done is done. xD

Btw, 'm not sure we needed to make this. I've seen some people with the same partners make more than one thread. *shrug*))

((OOC: xD Can I help it if I unconsciously decided this would be a "Matt and Crys are already dating" plot? I like it that way, anyway... better than longing to write Matt into wrapping an arm around the whole time and it not fitting his character.. <3

And we probably didn't need to, but I rather like the way it works like this. Less threads for us to keep up with, in our growing list of them. <3))

He just laughed to himself at the shower remark and gave her a closer hug, disregarding it. "Ah well... you're used to my smell.." She pulled back a little and made her suggestion for coffee. "Sure, sweets, that sounds good to me... maybe we can go back to my apartment after and just relax for awhile and dry off, yeah..?" He took her by the hand and tugged a little to lead her on down the park's trail, towards the coffee shop.

((OOC: xDDD See, and now it just went and pushed the PG-13 barrier a bit, cause, cause, yeah. >3>;;;; Guess we could do the whole, 'fade to black' thing? ;'D

But I suppose you're right, to both. <3))

At first she didn't come easily. It was just instinct to dig heels in the dirt and be a pain, but eventually her need for caffeine grew to strong and she toddled along.

"Hmm..." She thought it over. "Well, it smells like you over there, too." A mock pout. "But that works, hai." She paused, turning and raising an eyebrow at him. "Except for the whole, y'know, needing a change of clothes, thing. A girl can only nearly die from pneumonia so many times before a red flag goes up in her head."

((OOC: xD Nu, I has a plan, it's not gonna push it~~ <33 ... we hope >_>; ))

Once he had her tagging alongside him, he slipped his fingers between hers to keep her there. Not gonna go dashing away on him just for laughs again, no ma'am. He breathed a relaxed sigh, as the two strolled contentedly in what was now a fine spray of rain, on their way down the street to the coffee house a block away.

"Hmm... you're right, but that's no problem; you can borrow one of my shirts and some elastic pajama pants or something that you can tie on to fit you, until your clothes dry. By then, it should be around supper time, and I can cook something for us while we watch some tv and be antisocial together." He turned and smiled over down at her. "Hur... if you can stand my cooking, anyway~"

((OOC: Mm? Plan~? That you're not going to share, 'm sure. xD; We'll see I guess.))

"Mm..." she squeezed his hand slightly, taking no small comfort in the nearness, not that she'd admit to it. Nope, if anyone asked, she hated him as she always had. Regardless, she hugged his arm closer to her body at that moment to keep warm. The rain was nice, if not a bit chilling.

She looked back at him. "Ne... Hmm, that works. But I doubt anything -you've- worn will fit -me- pants wise. Guess we'll improvise." A giggle to herself. "Well, I'm always up for being antisocial. Especially together." she paused, stopping walking for a moment. "Ho crap, remind me to swing by the drug store on our way back and pick up a stomach pump, kay?" She grinned, hugging him closer again.

((OOC: xD Only a little idea, nothing big. But yes, you'll see, and smirk accordingly.))

He shivered a little, mostly from the rain, but no doubt from the little wave of relief it gave him when she'd squeeze his hand; something he didn't happen to be as obstinate to admit as she. He slipped his fingers from hers and balled them up inside his palm to warm them, with the rain swiftly sapping heat from the exposed skin.

"Nya..." He looked down at her. "Well, like I said, pants with a drawstring or something~ But we'll figure it out when we get there, lovey. And shush, you, with your stomach pump jokes~" He laughed and leaned into her hug on his arm. "Mm... sorry, miss, but you'll have to let go, now..."

"We're here." He grinned and pulled the door open, stepping back to let her in first.

((OOC: xDD Right, hokay then. <33))

"Nya?" She blinked and pouted, not liking the separation and the instant cold it brought.

"Fine, fine, I'll play nice. I just won't like it." She took a moment to look towards their destination. "Oh, a gentleman, I see." She beamed briefly, before turning and stepping on inside to the inviting warmth that awaited.

She pulled her hood down and adjusted her now bunched sleeves, looking around and rubbing her arm to warm up faster. "Much nicer, don't you think?" She tossed her head back to look at him as he followed behind and smiled, reaching a hand out to take his again.
