heres the descrption I put up on Flickr: BEST VIEWED LARGE FOR INSANE HAIR DETAIL XD Alright, I was never really good at drawing Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist), but Ive been getting alot of inspiration and practice in by doodling and researching his clothes, hair and such. The shine in the hair, if you noticed, is different from the shine I do normally. This one looks nicer but takes ALOT LONGER and will probably only do this shine for his hair because it doesnt look right with my shine. The shine on his leather pants was done the same way as his hair, in a different layer and tedious shading. I tried to make a reflection of his shoes on the floor by flipping the image and trying to skew it, but it didnt work, so black shadows for this one. The rest was cake, believe it or not XD The background Image is a shot of my school cafeteria. Photoshop 2007 I WILL be meeting Vic Mignogna, the voice actor for Ed on my Birthday!!! Sorry to barge in to your OOC (nice art btw :) ) I just want to remind you that posting the codes for the default color of black is not necessary and can be viewed as abuse of the gold system. Watch out on doing that please. If I find it after this post I'll take your gold and then start editing posts and I really dislike having to do that.

I know Vic is a big fan, and so is Travis and I'm making 2 copies, one for Vic and one for Travis (even though he's not gonna be there, I'm gonna ask Vic to give it to him for me) Vic and Travis are HUGE Dragon Ball Z fans and i never really showed the comic to anyone online or made prints for anyone...and I wanna share it with them. I hope they appreciate it. When its all done, I'll try to figure out what to do with the comic. I dont want anyone to take my idea, so, I'm still unsure of putting it online. |

I have a scanner now. ^^ A nice flatbed scanner that works (something electronic that works near me?!) I would like to scan some things I've been working on but I'd feel safer if I could watermark them so I dont have to write on my sketches, even light pencil would be an eyesore for me. In my free time I'll start drawing the characters from the rp. XD Yay for comical situations! I drew Risa after I sent the post, finished it last night. Glad you like it ^^ I haven't drawn in a while, Still trying to get a feel of things. It was an expiriment since I never really draw female characters. Atleast I know I can do it now. XP I just went with it with the wings. Standard bird wings kind of bore me, so I made the curved lines and shapes and layered them to make up my own type of wing. I'm happy with it. Her right foot was supposed to be proped up against the wall of the rooftop, to make her look like she was looking at the view in though, but that part of the drawing had the stains on it, so I cropped it and redrew the bottom part to make it straight down again. -_- Oh well, things happen. I havent drawn since Risa's picture though. I've been playing the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, listening to Duran Duran's "Red Carpet Massacre", and sleeping. I guess I'll get to it when the mood hits me. I still am behind in the rps I joined. ------------------------------------------- This is the only one I got back to, the other one I was in is on life support -_- So I'm reluctant to even try to "re-enter" my character it doesnt sound worth it. They wanted us to study a site on vampires (I RP a HUMAN), redo our character bio's according to the site's contents, start the RP all over, like nothing ever happened.. Which I probably wouldnt mind if the rp group was stable. (Little kids trying to change the whole rp to make themselves the "main character" and force their own backstories on everyone.. which.. the forced plot sounded like an exact copy of Twilight Princess :roll: ) Plus there is a person there copying everything I do and even tried to BECOME me. Copying my posts and rewording them, making himself appear like mine, acting like mine. At first I saw it as "Oh.. thats.. flattering.. I guess, He probably doesnt knw better, I'll wait for him to branch out." But it's gotten really bad, to the point where he wanted his name to be changed to mine, with the exclusion of one letter. I cant see myself rping a serious character there anymore. I dunno what to do with myself online anymore. I want to rp but.. ugh.. My character might not see the light of day if this keeps up. -_-; |
