xD All the KH cosplays i've seen have keyblades made from wood.. and if they cosplay sephiroth they make his sword from metal.
Maybe Australia cosplayers are superior? xD

  • Not here ;>_> Kingdom hearts all together almost died and new info on it hasn't been heard. All people here just talk about it game-wise.

    I saw wooden weapons there but they were like 50 dollars, and didn't even look too great x_x

    Meh, you keep bringing that up. Heights not too big of a part of it....saw a 6'4'' honey today.

Well, thats probably because theres a small fanbase of anime/manga here.
We also have a year to work on costumes. xD Since theres only one convention.
They made them themselves.. obsessive fangirls with money and wood can make pretty awesome keyblades... and the medieval store would sell sephiroth's sword too. ;__;

O_o That would be kinda creepy, i'd probably mistake them for Tamaki with a bunny. >_> <_<;

    There are I think only 2 here. A-con, and AnimeFest. A-con is supposed to be bigger but I heard animefest is a lot more fun.

Well the convention is getting bigger.
In first year I went less than 100 people went, second year there were a few hundred people. xD; I wonder if it'll be bigger this year. >_>

xD Awesome.. Well my friends and I were planning to buy swords and dress up in medieval clothing.
Then scare people in the city by having random sword fights. x3
Or getting one of them to fight for 'my honour'. XD

    Leek~ Hrmm, not sure how many people were at this one, probably a couple hundred. It was their dead day they called it though, since everyone comes on the weekend. They didn't have any events or anything today which is also why. I didn't mind though...I just mainly went to buy stuff.

    Lol, its held in this tower with a giant ball on the top where a circular room is held, and is known as a dallas landmark. Their using it for an EGL teaparty tomorrow xD; I would so go if I didn't wanna pay for it ;>_> Plus I think its a mainly girl thing...

    They had so many voice actors and singers and writers and artists from japan there, it was weird x_x I didn't go to the panels though since I wasn't too interested.

I have almost all the Immortal Rain books, but I'm missing volume 3, 6, and 8.

I have all Crescent Moon books//Juvenile Orion. I have vol. 3 of Saiyuki. Volume 1, 2, 3, 4 of Angel Sanctuary. Uhhh, 2 vol's of Inuyasha. 2 vol's of Evangelion. 1, 2, 3??, 4, 5 volumes of Naruto. >________>;;

I think I've spent over 300 dollars on manga books already. xDD lolll

Idk any other...vampire manga anyways...besides hellsing and I don't really care for that one anymore. I don't plan on buying the books since I've already watched the episodes and it ended stupidly. >______>;;

Trinity Blood ended stupidly too, so I'm not buying that either.

uhhhhh, I only buy action//fantasy and real depthful story-lines.

ohoh and I finally beat KH2...I love the graphics, I really want KH3. @[email protected];;

Ouran h.s. was okay....I didn't really like it much because there was always comedy and crap even though there were "some" serious parts in the show. >.o;

I say Outlaw Star is the best anime by far that I've watched besides Blood+.

Rawr: xD I always go to watch the cosplay skits and to watch anime.
I usually visit the anime and quickdraw panels/competitions.
Oooh, last year they had a Yaoi panel too. xD It was awesome.
The microphones screwed up so the mens gym downstairs could hear the whole panel. XDXD And there were twice as many guys there as girls because it was next to the games room and the guys didn't know it was a yaoi panel.

O: Awesome. I need to get a lolita outfit. >_> I mostly want a petticoat, they're so pretty.

LUCKY! D: No one like that would ever come here... it's not popular enough.. we're lucky if we get some online comic artists to come to the con.
Miro; That would cost twice as much here, so it would be like $90. x__x

xD Wow. I don't have that much manga, but i've probably spent around that much since it costs so much here.

    I've only seen trinity blood and uhh..Karen, but thats like, funny vampire stuff ;>_>

    Eheh, I don't like serious animes too often. They take too long to get into the plot and all the actions just so slow for my attention span ;;>>

    I hear of outlaw star a lot online...is it old or something? I've never seen pics or anything of it and friends have never mentioned it o.o

  • Lol, I went to the art bazaar, then the depot for all cosplay gear since that was closing as I got there (like 6pm), bought a few things, then went to the opening ceremonies where they had a concert by random anime singers from japan that gathered to form one band for the Con which was pretty cool. Then went to the gaming room...bought more stuff ;>_> Then uhh, watched Lucky Star even though I had already seen it, and then random good AMVs. Then just left since my friend isn't allowed to drive past midnight ;>_>

    Haha, I don't think you need one to go, not sure what they do but you get tea and cookies and get to go up the tower which is already pretty cool xD Its only 10 dollars too, but since I only bought a one day pass I'd have to pay another 25 just to get in x__x

uhhh, Outlaw Star was taken off the air a while back because of all the time changes and the "Trinity Blood," and other animes like s-CRY-ed they put on the air to replace it.

It's a really good anime - there are a lot of pictures and its uploaded online too if you ever want to watch it sometime and it has a box set, etc. http://snakeeyesvideos.vidiac.com <- that has all the episodes uploaded and some other anime are uploaded on there too. Idk if you like reading english subtitles with japanese lang. so it depends if you can handle that. xDD

@leek// well..the reason why I buy so much is because...manga depending on the series or how well the books are made with the plots and twists within the story itself has to appeal to me greatly. I like mangas better because they actually have more pictures inserted in it besides regular books...plus I like reading right to left instead of left to right for a change. && I like all the expressions and bubble text instead of smushed words put together. >_____>;;

AND THEY CUSSSSSSS and get to the point~

buutt I'ma get off of here for now because my back is killing me. >.o;;

  • Eheh, I spent so much without even noticing x_x I wanted this jacket type thing, that had red and black striped sleaves with a black and silver chest area with chains and such on it, but it was 70 dollars, so yeahh, had to give that up T__T

    Lol, I just wanna go for the cookies and to go up the freaky long elevator.

    We couldn't stay for it, but from 11-2 they have a nightly rave with DJ and stuff and you get free glowsticks and stuff xD

    Tomorrow is the contest and sunday is the concert. And every day they have a dance-off to between voice actors and stuff xD; I'd like to see that...but yeah, everything good goes on really late so we can't stay, heh.

    Not sure, I installed this disk it came with, then hooked it up but yeahh, not responding. Mom said she'd help me with it tomorrow though.
