Sorriest game of Clue, EVER.
My siblings and i were home sick, and there was nothing to do.
My sister found Clue under my bed, and we started playing. The dice were missing as well, so I had to use an internet die-roll generator. >__> The game lasted 3 minutes, and consisted of "was it miss scarlet? no? your guess." "Professor Plum? no?" We needed a 3rd player. My little brother didnt wanna play, no matter how much we bugged him. He gave us a rancor toy to play with. :( So, there were 3.. things playing. Me, little sister, and Mr. Rancor. It lated longer, BUT STILL. Rancor won by default, too... we were at a standstill cause the toy can't talk and show us its cards. :x So, we both took a guess. We were both wrong. D: Have you had anything like that happen? What do you do when you're home sick? What about stupid siblings? How much Rancors suck at Clue? |

when im home sick i usually just klay in bed and sleep... i tend to stay away from my sisters cuz we all get very cranky when we are sick. and dont get alon very well. although i have never played clue so imnot about to start i never understood the point. |
I have a friend I play Monopoly with. lol, I have yet to win against him xD
We sit there and talk smack to each other through the whole game. I think our longest one lasted 2 days. x.x |

Heh, I don't play games with my brother. He usually goes wild and ends up breaking something. For example, with cards, he bends them and sometimes tears them when he gets really into it. Soo, I just take the pieces and sort of... Err, play with them like dolls (yes, I'm a senior and I still like dolls). I mean, I play out stories and whatnot when I'm too lazy to write them down.

I have a friend who insisted on teaching me backgammon, even tho I protested like crazy... (He wins EVERY single game he plays. That ONE time I beat him at chess, everyone was going through the roof. We took pictures and everything...) Anyway, since I wasn't very interested, he ended up playing with himself having me watch and pretend to pay attentions to what he was saying and how to play the game... From that day on he played a lot of backgammon with me watching, sometimes I even rolled my own dices, but that was about as involved as I got.. He must have been somewhat annoyed by my stubbornness ^^ |
ive played battleship like that. :P its difficult but ive done it anyway. normally with either someone that doesnt care or someone who lies to me about hitting their ships or when all of their ships are sunk. it drives me crazy. i do my attacks in an every other square pattern so that i hit all of the ships once i get a hit i go in a line until im sure the thing is sunk. i once had the entire thing covered in every other peg and they were still telling me miss. i got pissed and threw red pegs at them then went to bed.
it wouldnt have been so bad except that they were the ones that wanted to play against me!! some people just fail at games. oh and as to the monopoly game that lasted 2 days i have friends that can do that. i get bored after an hour and just randomly give away my stuff. |

Actually, we have this little ongoing tradition where we take board games we love and remake them to how we'd have done it. Like The Game of Life? We made our own, called The Game of Reality. Sure, we desecrate the things we cherish, but it's all in good fun! We plan on doing Clue next. C'mon, how can you resist a game of Clue that has a character named, "Hobo who Brushes His Teeth with a Dead Bird"? Really though, I do love board games. <3 |

Of course if that had happened to me, I probably would've lost my patience and either beat my little brother over the head the Rancor. Or I would've just chucked the thing out of the window. Still, that's pretty funny. |

You think that's sorry? Well, try this on on for size; I once played an entire game of Monopoly with myself. There were two players, me, and me 2. I had been skipping a few things at school after coming in late, so a few days went by with the faculty and students trying to nab me between classes and put me in a suspension booth. It's basically this little desk in the hallway at the back of the school. Lucky me, I had an ipod and a Monopoly board; so I played my way through. #2 won, probably cheated too. Ever play that game 'Sorry'? Oh man, that's vicious. |

I LOVE board games! My favorites are:
Monopoly, Life, Yahtzee, Battleship, and many others that I cannot think of at the moment. :oops: Anyways, my brother will mostly just play video games with me. Sometimes I can get him to play either Monopoly or Battleship. Its not too fun to play Monopoly with just 2 people though, I usually like 3 or 4 just to make things interesting. When I'm bored I usually just get on the internet, or go to sleep. xD Sometimes I'll watch a movie or something. |
I haven't played Battleship in a long time.
That was a fantastic game, come to remember it. Though, I also enjoyed games like Mancala and GO. There's always the classic Chess, and you can't really get tired of that. |
