I looked away modestly as he looked me over. "Im not as pretty...as Winry... most guys go for blonds..." I sighed, walking in as he held the door open for me. "Thanks" I followed him back to the private table, where it was away from everyone else, and kind of dark and somewhat intimate. "This is nice, yes" I said looking around at the beautiful, yet simple stained glass chandeliers hanging over every table. |

"It's cute." Hearing the seriousness in her voice Edward solemnly nodded, leaning back into his seat. "No kidding....we've got more problems than we know what to do with right now don't we?" My eyebrows shot straight up to the top of my forehead and I looked to him in surprize. "Knock it off, no it isnt.." I puffed out my cheeks, looking to anything but his eyes. I couldn't lean back; I had a feeling my breasts would pop out if I did; I never wore a dress like this before, and I didnt want to chance it. So I stayed hunched over, resting my chin on my folded hands. "More than I ever wanted..." I sighed, sipping my pepsi through the straw. "There is no solution unless we get Kiri back. I swear that girl... shes sure gonna get a good lecture when we get her back again..." I nodded, knowing I had won, knowing I was right. I puffed my cheeks, then nodded, calming down. "Yes... I am. After what she did to us, it'll be a long time until I forgive her..." I said, closing my eyes. "She made me worry, put our lives on hold, and made your chain exist again." I grunted, looking into his eyes, finally, since we were in Roys office this morning. |

Edward sighed. "This is true, but can you really blame her?" He looked off to one side, thinking about the look of fear on her face when she looked at him, then running off into the back of the room, refusing to come out, and even hissing at Roy...being burned alive must have really done a number on her to still hate him. |

I shrugged as the waiter came over to ask our orders. "Oh Ill have the Philly Cheesesteak, no onions please, and mayonnaise." He nodded, taking down the order then looked to Ed. "I...have a strong feeling we'll never find her...." I sighed, leaning my head in my hand. I smiled and nodded. "I guess... a few years more though? I think id want a little more devotion than that..." I teased, looking to my naked hands. "I just want... a settle home...and a loving spouse who will be there for me and tell me he loves me always..." I murmured. |

"Just a small steak please." Edward said once his turn came. He wasn't all that hungry, but he didn't want to skimp out on taste either. "You never can tell." He repiled optimisticly. "Well, I did say until I went deaf, didn't I? I don't hope to lose my hearing when I'm twenty do you?" He chuckled. He looked over, then covered her hands with his. "When all this is over....the first thing we're doing is settleing down." He leaned his head back and sighed. "I think this is the last adventure I'm going to have for a while, all this country hopping is going to kill me." |

The waiter jotted it down and bowed, walking off into the kitchen. I shrugged; I was very not optimistic about the whole situation; I was very peeved about it, and had a feeling we wouldnt see her for a long time. I shook my head, smirking abit. "I would hope not... so when do you turn 20, Edward?" I asked, my eyes twinkling from the lights above. "I need to be prepared for this.." I settled in my seat, my chest bouncing a bit. I huffed, straightening my back and taking a tight grip of the top of the dress to pull it up. "My boobs are way too big for this kind of dress." I said quietly as I adjusted then settled in again. "Settling down? What... does that mean to you? I wanna know what you mean by that..." I said sweetly. I nodded, agreeing. "Ive only been on a few adventures with you and Im beat, and homesick." |

"I cant wear strapless stuff with a chest like this; the weight of them just pulls it down, a looser dress would have been worse...' I huffed. "Cant look pretty without being comfortable..." She smiled then and tucked Edward's coat under her arm and headed for the nearest bunch of brush...there would be no sleeping out in the open for her, she was still wary of the people around her....she really hoped she didn't run into anyone she knew. I nodded. "When my parents were alive, birthdays were a BIG deal..." I sighed. "Now... its just another day to me..." I ran my finger around the rim of the glass when the waiotor came by and placed our plates down, then walked off. I picked up my fork, grinning at him. "Well im glad this dress caught your attention...I was running out of ideas to try to get and keep your gaze..." I nodded in agreement to his words and dug in, biting the largest end of my poorly made Philly Cheesesteak. "I just KNOW Al's is gonna love what I'm cooking up for dinner!" Winry said to Den as they walked along the path leading toward home. The sun was setting in the distance, and the hills sung a familiar tune of endless summer days. Den then stopped and sniffed at a bush then whimpered. Winry hmmed and headed towards the bush as Den looked ot her in question. |

I blushed and mumbled "November 9th..." I shook my head. "Im not gonna ask for them... its just.. nice ot be noticed... i feel like the ninght we were in the tent is the only time you seemed to notice me...and look at me... now these days... it just seems like youve been distancing yourself from me, and not looking at me, and I just figured I was losing my appeal. Maybe I should dress more...skimpy..." i shrugged. "I'm always looking at you, youre so beautiful..." [he got a steak] Den barked at her response and Winry knelled down to see the young, naked girl laying on a red cloth. "Oh my, hello there, are you alright? Are you lost?" she said in a very sweet voice. She put out her hand. "Here... come with me, Ill give you some nice clothing and a nice warm bed and hot meal. Whaddya say?" she smiled at her, her very warm smile and tilted her head to the side. Den whimpered, as if inviting her to come along as well. |

He made a mental note. Then smiled to himself over his plate....almost choking on his mouthful after Shiba continued. "You really think that?" He managed through coughs. He blushed profusely and then hid his head by looking down and fiddling with the table cloth. (LOL Danke) (She's not nake remember? The old guy gave her some of his grandkid's clothes ^^) Kiri looked up and flinched back a bit from the hand offered her. "Who are you?" She asked defensivly. "You don't even know me, what? You just go around offering strange people a place in your home?" Nevertheless, Kiri climbed out of the brush and tucked the jacket back under her arm, hiding it in case anybody remembered it. "Still...." She said to herself. "I suppose...I can't stay out here can I?" |

I'm just a nice person that way... and I guess thats my downfall..." she said in a raspy voice, looking at the ground as she stood. "you can stay out here if you'd like.. I wont tell anyone. Den seemed to like you... and he's picky with visitors." She pet the dogs head as it panted from the walk. "He's good at letting me know who is a good person or bad... but... if you want to be left alone... thats fine...." |

Edward looked up, his face still red. "B-Bishi? What in the world is that?" He cocked his head off to one side. He thought a moment and then shrugged... "There were times that...I thought you might have been staring...but I really didn't think that much on them." (It's my 'thank you' for when I want to be a pain XDD) Kiri winced at the hurt in the other girl's voice. She stood there a moment and then ran up behind her and slipped her hand into hers. "I.....I'm sorry..." She said quietly. "I..I guess I'm still not used to other people yet..." She looked down, blushing faintly. The other girl's hand felt so warm. |
I laughed, seeing that he didn't know what that word meant.
"Uhm... a pretty boy?" I laughed harder, finishing my meal. I shrugged. "I just thought you were ignoring me or just honestly didnt notice..." She had begun to walk away when the cold hand inserting into hers. She smiled, looking back at the child. "No need for apologies sweetheart... you look like you've been through alot... I cant blame you..." She tightened the grip on her small hand and walked on towards the Rockbell home. Granny was out of town for 2 weeks at an automail convention. It was just Winry, Al and Den at home. I dought Granny would mind one more guest. |
"Oh..." He looked down again, and picked at his food.
"I didn't want to bring it up....and it's really hard to do that in normal converstation." Kiri looked up, and smiled slightly, she still wasn't too sure about the older girl..but for now she would reserve judgement. "I'm...Kiri." She said hesitantly not sure if her name had gotten out yet. "Who are you?" |
