I know, that and you never know how comfortable a pair of shoes are going to be.

I'm worried about clothes, too, and I wouldn't know how to return something that doesn't fit because the actual store is no where near by.

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:04 AM

I'd email them on their returns if and when the problem arrives. You may just be able to mail them back. But any stores I like I can either visit in person or are in foreign countries.

Estrella 01-10-2008 05:06 AM

Yeah, I don't think it'll arise though because my body type generally fits most things.

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:08 AM

YAY Lucky Star!

Estrella 01-10-2008 05:13 AM

How's Angel this evening?

Wordstreamer 01-10-2008 05:14 AM

As future reference (since I don't want to flood your inbox), if I don't respond for more than two days to a PM, my inbox might've eaten it (that's happened before). I mean, that's obviously not the case right now--I'm just saying in case it DOES happen, yeah; that's probably why. :D

Sorry about the shoe thing. That happens to me, but only with pants.

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:14 AM

Bored. Aion is dead, no one wants to roleplay 1 on 1...this thread has died down, the hangout I live in is dead...

*pokes wordys inbox with a stick* How odd. But my inbox has eaten some PMs too. Usually the oldest ones get eaten rather than the newer ones though.

Estrella 01-10-2008 05:20 AM

I try and post in Aion, I just get sidetracked easily.
And from our 1 on 1 as well, but only 'cause I'm having a mental block about HOW I'm going to wiggle Donnie into the Vizzini's good side.

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:22 AM

It's ok. I just really want more roleplays. Im used to having like 5 on the go at the same time. I like being busy and hate not being busy *shrugs* no one's fault.

I just wish I knew why my thread isn't attracting anyone's attention.

Estrella 01-10-2008 05:25 AM

I had one posted up and now it's way down on the bottom. Dx I had one reply but then she disappeared shortly after.

I know what you mean, one of my roleplays I'm in got super busy and now all of them are going slow and I'm like "BLARGGGHHH. -scroll through General Discussion-"

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:26 AM

Got link, I'll revive it for you.

Wordstreamer 01-10-2008 05:29 AM

For some reason, it ate the NEW message instead of the old one. :? My inbox is angering; it fills too quickly. *wanders back to delete more old messages*

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:30 AM

hehe so does Angels.

Wordstreamer 01-10-2008 05:34 AM

Then I worry about PMing people..... It NEVER ENDS!!

The only concerns that I usually have about returning things are when I don't have receipts, or when I bought it from a different branch (B. Dalton and Barnes/Noble are more or less the same, BUT I don't know if something bought at a B. Dalton can be returned to a Barnes/Noble. Some things from the Target I'm near aren't available at the Target my parents are close to. So if I get them something that they don't like, can they return it to the one that doesn't carry it? I'd assume so, but I've never found out.)

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:36 AM

Yes they can. I worked at a shop called Primark and Barnsley (where I worked) Sheffield and doncaster all got different stock. You could return to any of the three. No matter which one you bought from.

Wordstreamer 01-10-2008 05:39 AM

Then probably most stores are like that. :D That's reassuring.

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:42 AM

*nod nod* Primark was a clothes store, but Ive done it at smiths and waterstones which are book stores.

Here's a fact, ever wondered what happens to clothes after you return them? The ones that can be re-sold get put back out but the faulty ones get shredded by the staff with a pair of scissors.

Wordstreamer 01-10-2008 05:46 AM

Huh. I didn't know that, no.

One of the clothing stores I go to (which, admittedly, is NOT the greatest clothing store) just marks it down heavily. Like... I bought a tank top with a broken strap once for probably 5-10 dollars less than its normal price. Because I can't sew it back on, apparently. Or use a safety pin.

midnight_faerie 01-10-2008 05:47 AM

hello hello. I am here if only for a few. as it is almost 1am and I should be in bed but hey who knows since i am not tired i could be on for awhile.

Wordstreamer 01-10-2008 05:50 AM

I like your signature. <3 There're people here, but it's fairly slow.

Estrella 01-10-2008 05:51 AM

GOD, I kept copy and pasting it, then got sidetracked and copied something else before I remembered to post it. XDDD
Here's my one on one request

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:53 AM

MIDNIGHT!!!! *flying tacklehugs* Sorry I was just posting a problem in life issues.

midnight_faerie 01-10-2008 05:53 AM

it does seem pretty quiet tonight but again it is late here for me.

Estrella, I like your siggy. it is neat.

Hello Angel. how are you doing.? sorry I was looking to get back on shortly after I talked to you on facebook but we ended up with company and I didn't want to be rude.

Amo_Angelus 01-10-2008 05:54 AM

Angel likes Stars siggy too, and she brought her 1 on 1 search back up now ^_^

Estrella 01-10-2008 05:54 AM

Thanks. ;D I'll probably change it later though, 'cause I have a funny quote I wanna' put there and it'd be silly to put it between two pretty flutterbys.
