Ok, then nope, not thinking of a single good thing about American schools. Most of the history classes are biased and have a lot of their facts wrong, it's mainly all pro america propeganda. If they can make america look better than everyone else they will, even if they change the stories. Illiteracy and inumberacy are shocking. Geography is well...can you class it as real geography? Medieval maps are more acurate... It's just... I really despair! My sister and her kid both went to american schools, in fact Kaleys still there and it's just ridiculous some of the things they've been taught! We have drivers ed as an optional extra at my old college. If you wanted to drive you could take it up till you passed your test on a wednesday afternoon and the collage paid. Chai: Yes you will get a PM telling you to say hello to your newbie, who your newbie is and if they're having major problems I'll also tell you that too, plus any other things I think you'll need to know. @Angel - I feel the same way. I remember reading text books in school. I always wanted to know why they would only teach us certain things. They skipped a lot of races, and imporant events. >>

It's just the American way, if they can't show America in the best light they'll just exclude it. I mean take cowboys and indians. America portrays the cowboys as these wonderful men and indians as these savage fiends that attacked people with tomohawks. Reality check...Cowboys massacared indians to begin with, eventually the indians either retaliated or were murdered. *shrugs* Look at any other history (unless it's the french english thing, but we all know that's a big farse) we did things wrong! We killed innocents, we faught unjust wars, we stole land we admit it. We aren't perfect, but that admittance allows us to learn from our faults. Chai: Then when I pm you you PM your newbie. well at half 7 this morning someone robbed one of the sites we monitor at work, but they only showed up once on one camera. Well I shouted down the microphones and the cameras couldn't see them. I forgot to write it in the book and the place was hit pretty bad. Thankfully the thing we use to dial into the mikes keeps a record so my boss checked my story and I didn't get in trouble afterall. Wooo procrastinating! I'm procrastinating too :P |

Yeah, redhanded monitoring, although it's merging with redhanded security in like a month. My job is to monitor the CCTV. I'm so glad the software had my back, I could have lost my job. finishing making this teddy bear. :P |

*realizes how misleading that sentance was* Yeah I can make teddy bears, but this one is embroidery rather than an actual squishy stuffed bear. I have a picture of it but It's not got any of the detailing on it. I stopped making big teddy bears because they're expensive and no one wanted them. I have a million already. Now I just embroider the pictures. |
