I don't see why teachers have to be that way. I mean you could say the same thing about realism. and how it's "too realistic" and not "original" XD Art is art and is used to express. Nothing is going to be the same. even if it is a certain style. |
What you say is true, anna. Though I HAVE seen a few teachers encourage, mostly, they don't. *sigh*
lol They say manga and anime is not creative, too simple for art and all. They have been brain-washed by Naruto and Pokemon, I think. But yeah, although I do respect realism artists, somehow, one way or another, they end up looking almost the same to me. ^_^; |

I regularly fail in art class. I do score better when I am not trying, for some reason. >3>; Well, in class, the works are usually something like, "Draw a scenery of the beach with the focus on a coconut tree" or something. Usually not much, but I'm not particular good at paints either. So that might be why. xD; |

My finally art project before school started was to make a face out of objects O-o
So I ended up taking a bowl of ice cream and adding oreos and stuff to make eyes and what not XD My favorite projects are the ones with paint C: eek It's 1 DX I'm tired.. Night night guys ^^ |

Do you 'create' art, practice art, and/or demonstrate an art? Do you pursue art as an occupation/hobby? I have no need to ask if you are skilled at it, because you are. And I have a feeling that the answers are yes, so YES, you ARE AN ARTIST. I have asked myself these questions before, whether I am worthy to be an artist. So so long as you are passionate about it and practice it, you are one. |

See. The main point is that you draw and is still drawing pretty regularly.
Never doubt your talent. Although I know my art is still not up to par with tons of other artists, I move on, promising myself to keep on getting better. Personally, I would say that everyone COULD draw. Yes, there is no question to that. The thing is just to what extent are they willing to take their art to. I have been drawing for about 10 years, and my art is still at the levels of mediocre, Raz. Yet, I still draw, because I LOVE drawing. And no matter how much I will myself to stop, I would still go back to it. =) |

Alright... it's starfish soup~ owo;;; there is a freakin dried starfish in the soup. it's rock hard, and I saw it. omg... plus it's with some normal veg and chinese medicine. good for blood flow. but then.... starfish... owollllll I was poking at it.. |
