haha well actually jus recently ive been getting into horned characters or horns in general... plus i've taken a liking to crows *_* (such a random thing to mention xD)

haha aw! poor mein TwT wings are a difficulty to draw, i tried learning from frog-vamp on DA (i was in a class with her before) the way she draws wings remind me of clamps.

Actually, simple wings are not. It's when one attempts those REALLY feathered wings. I've always admired those who are able to draw wings feather by feather. *3*

I LOVE Ayano Yamane's style. Interestingly enough, the first works I actually saw from her were her FFVIII doujins. XDD (She draws such hot Squalls.) Most of her works are one-shots, though. I think I have almost the entire collection available online. *swt* -shot for the 3rd time today- Ooh, that sounds bad. >_< I usually try to avoid reading published translations unless I have the chance to peek inside to see how it is first. There are two FFVIII doujins by her available for online download.
One is the one you've mentioned, though there were other Squall/Seifer one-shots inside. It's full of comedy, it was an amusing read and nothing really serious. XD There was another FFVIII one-shot she drew, but the pairing in focus was Squall/Zell. X3 (I can send you both files if you want, since the only available download method for them is through mIRC, at the moment. 83) And that is no problem! Take your time. ~_^ |

EDIT: I will be sending you the auction posts in Gaia, washu-san. But just in case, these are the changes I made after I consulted a few friends on Gaia. I hope you don't mind the changes. You may always change them if you do not find them satisfactory. ^_^; I apologize for all the questions and bugging, but I am anxious myself. xD; 1. Changed AB to 1 million (just found out that the average AB is 2 million or more). 2. Did a bid scale for certain amount of bids. 3. Removed chibi art examples, I can always insert them back in if washu-san offers chibi too (all auction headers, banners and preview thumbs in mw_k under 'WashuAuction' folder). That should be all. I'm VERY sure washu-san knows how to quote the 'highest bids' post. It's up to you whether you want to link the list of contents. It's troublesome, though I would, but that's cause I'm me. 1. how do I link the posts to the table of contents? do i scroll to the post and copy the url and link it like that? *confused* but if it's a total hassle to explain how, then you don't have to tell me ^^ you've work so hard already mein TwT 2. as for the Bidding Guide would i have to draw all that stuffs for when the auction ends? or is it more like, if the auction ends and for the range the highest bid stops at, then that's what they get? (kind of thing?) 3. and overall when the auction ends, is there gonna be only one winner? like, would i end up only doing 1 piece of artwork? that's about it ^^ I'm kinda confused in those parts, but i don't wanna mess up on meh first auction ^^; (such a newb i am xD) |
Okay, here are the answers to your questions. =D
1. Basically, whenever you post a post, instead of just the usual page count on the html bar (with the 'sequence='), you would get a code at the end of the code with '#' and your post number. Let's say your post is post number 27, it would be something like ".../-insert thread title-/t.-insert thread number-/#-insert post number-" If you have posted and have no idea how to get back, simple! Just edit post and submit! xDD 2. No. You ONLY draw what you offer. Say, the Highest bid was 450k and no one ABed, then all you have to draw is a Waist up coloured, as indicated by the bidding guide. =) 3. If you want it that way, yes. If not, you can always change the bidding guide and the AB prize to suit your needs. As I said, if you find that the ABer deserve two full bodies instead, or a full body and a waist up, just change it. And if you think the price I set for the artworks are too steep (XDD) you can always change the scale to your liking. Like this example I have; 0 - 100K = Chibi lineart 101K - 200K = Chibi Coloured 201K - 350K = Waist up Lineart 351k - 500k = Waist up Coloured 501k - 650k = Waist up Coloured + Chibi Lineart 651k - 800k = Full body Lineart 801k - 1 mil = Full body coloured 1 mil+ = Full body coloured + Chibi coloured (this is past the AB, but that was the point) There are a few auctions I found that offer AB, but ABing the art doesn't mean that the auction end. It's just like buying artwork. So ABing means that they would be guranteed art, but not winning the bid. Therefore the auction does not end yet. If you use this method, then when you have enough ABers, just remove the AB and put Autobuy as 'Not Available'. If you want multiple winners, just open an extra thread for 'EXTRA'. Meaning, contests such as art contests, bumping contests and such and offer a prize for the winner. You can also offer freebies (therefore, this is where the extra reserved posts come in; you can open a 'Freebies' thread if you want) for regulars or nice people that drop by your thread. =D It helps pull in people this way. Are these understandable? ^__^; If you need me to reexplain, it's no problem. |

No, actually. AB is Autobuy for a reason. XD If someone is able to afford the Autobuy price, then he or she would immediately win the auction and rightfully, you should close the auction. If you feel that you can take two winners then put a notice below the AB that 'Autobuy does not mean you won the auction! It just means that you are guranteed some art.' It's a somewhat equivalent 'to Autobuy will not end the auction', if you get what I mean. =). Seriously, if someone would purchase my full body coloured for 200k (and that was when I was the one giving the offer too), yours should be no problem. ^_^ |

If you want to time it internationally, then you should open the auction up to the public in about 7-8 hours from now. You can post first, but make sure to set 'Under construction' or 'still closed' when setting up or until New Years. Then you can place the thread title as 'NOW OPEN!'. ^__^ The time I gave you was GMT +12:00. It's best you use your timezone, though. What time is it there again? xD |
