Yay for 2 month late replies. \o/ *bricked*
Anna's piece done. One more for her to go~ @Elegant Feather Duster: He's all well now. xD How are things faring on your side? @XxEmber_MIstxX: I am ah... Absolutely not open yet. My shop's still closed for orders, and as I've said, I'm not sure if I would open it again any time soon. ^_^; @Emma Corrin: Not a problem. o3o I've scrapped all the old sketches. My style did a little change again. >.>; @Suona: It may seem so, but there's an army lurking behind in the shadows where you can't see. :ninja: @JessehBoo: I think your best chance would be during events. Shop orders are iffy. o_o @Valendra: *pokes back* That, and for some reason, I have a natural aversion to my own threads these days. xD;; @Arikana: *wavewave* Not sure if I would be opening slots, but feel free to lurk around. It's best to wait and see if I open an event thread, for that is the more likely way to get art from me at the moment. oAo @Dystopia: Naw, I still have a few to go through before I decide if it will be the last one or not. xD Emma's one is tricky because I keep trying to draw out complicated poses. rofl |
A pit... Of nuts?
|
*nods*
Yes, all sorts. Walnuts, almonds, ground nuts, macadamias... You name it. :yes: |
o__o
I'm lonely. My threads are all dead. Dx |
@iro - Things are going well. I've been getting a lot of work done and I've been doodling to try to work out a consistent/new style for a possible webcomic.
Otherwise just been living my life. It's been good. How's your workload? Still busy? |
@Miss Umoh:
*pats* The quiet time of the day. What time is it where you are? :o @Elegant Feather Duster: Ooh.. Webcomic. That sounds fun. I should be starting a beta series as well, a testing grounds for me so to speak. First time trying it out like this, my boyfriend's helping write the story and with the criticism. So I hope it'll turn out decent at least. ^^ I'm actually not as busy yet as it is just the start of the semester. I have the early works loaded on me, but not as bad as when the middle of the semester hits. xD More outside projects, though, for now. :yes: |
Ahaha yeah but it'll be a LOT of work if I actually end up doing it. D: I want to but wanting and having the time are too very different things. Ohhh that sounds fun! I'm sure it'll turn out awesome.
Well that's good for the time being. It's nice to have a little extra time to yourself, no? |
It's almost 8PM. D:
|
@Elegant Feather Duster:
True enough. xD I may have the same problem as well. If anything I may have to stop commissions here for good and only open for rl commissions or something. Animation is a very busy course. @[email protected] Do you have the story written out or a guideline at least? That helps a lot. If you start a webcomic, though, I am looking forward to reading it! Yep. Today's a nice day. I actually probably have to go work on my project a little later after lunch. lol I have a presentation tomorrow for design works. @Miss Umoh: Ah, it's late there. Have you eaten dinner/supper? It's just afternoon for me here. xD |
@iro - From a commissioner standpoint, I'd say awwww. But from the standpoint of a fellow artist, I would completely understand. Commissions can actually take up a LOT of time. D: I've heard that animation just devours all your time for several years in a row.
I'll probably put it in my sig if I start it up. :3 I do have a website, so it would really come down to reformatting the thing. I do have almost the entire plot planned in my head and in a bunch of notes (with the except of meaningless random mafia battles and stuff) so I'm pretty confident on that front. Learning how to design panels will be quite the process however. Ohhh good luck with that! |
Not to mention I still have a stack of artworks and orders to complete. |D
Yeah, animation certainly does. Though I'm not far enough into the course yet to merit staying overnight in the campus. :sweat: Oh, good. It'll be easy to find your web comic that way. =D The characters in your sig are part of your web comic? A mafia themed series would be interesting. I generally like those types. And yes. Paneling. That is the reason why the series I will be working on will be an experimental series. It'll be my first time trying out serious paneling. :lol: |
|D True that. *pats* Good luck!
o.O That sounds pretty intense if people have to do that. Given, some people procrastinate or put work off until late in the day, but still. Haha indeed! If it ends up happening, I'll want a lot of readers to help me/cheer me along. Yes they are the two main characters. P: Sawyer is the one in the red coat and Joseph in the suit. It's mafia themed, but more about those two characters and how they change because of eachother. Lots of fun mafianess though. 8D Hmm yeah it'll be an experimental process. I'm considering opening a guinea pig temp shop which will essentially be me practicing my comic art style on people. |
*huggles iro* Wow, not only you visted your thread, you also posted more then once!!!! XDDDDD Hurray!! It should be an international holiday or sth 8DDDDD *hides in case she gets bricked* I'm enjoying very much myself lately... since it's final weeks, I'm not really fully awake or sane at all XDDD Yaaaaaayy!!!<3<3<3<3 *runs around*

xDD Aww - poor dear~ You're always scrapping the drawings you do for me and having to start over~ -lufflesnuggles- I can't wait to see the new style ^_^ |
@Elegant Feather Duster:
Thank you, EFD. |D lol Yeah, my friend who has now graduated together with her group, she used to camp over in the campus for days, using her friend's shower (those who are living around the campus) to work on their projects. Crazy times. *cheering even before it started* \o/ I see, I see. Sawyer looks very gangsta, though. 8D *rubs chin* I wonder how paneling works on commissions. Perspective practice, maybe? xD @Valendra: Yush, I posted more than once. Such a feat. o_o Thank you for the visit, Valen! Sounds like a good time you're having. *patpats* Boy, won't you be really glad when it's all over. *hands a platter of cookies to Valen* xD @Emma Corrin: Because I'm never really happy with how they turn out. >A< And the 'new style' is not too different in terms of the basic lines, it more that the genders are more defined. I've been working on differentiating the males and females of my art, since they look similar enough if not for minor details like the eyelashes. Of course, the guys get a tad bulkier... But still. xD |
Lol!
-lufflecuddles- I know what you mean - I'm like that about a lot of my artwork too :3 I can't wait to see it none-the-less <3 I'm very very excited about getting Iro art <33 |
:hug:
Just stopping in to wish you well, Iro I sure hope you haven't been too busy and that you're not too stressed out with school |

*cheers with you* Ahaha well he's pretty stylish/punk but considering that most of the people at his level wear suits and are old men, he stands out a bit. Hmm well I think for commissions it would be more about the stylizing of the characters themselves and maybe the application of texture and lighting the way I want it to look in the comic. Full panels might be difficult. |
*rolls around* :3 *hands out everyone cake!!* >w< Finals are just over so I decided to parteeeeh!!!! >w< *dancedance*
|
*floats in*tosses firecrackers at everyone*runs out* :ninja:
|
Ah!
*dives to ground after hearing the first one go off* D: |
-pokes thread-
I think the firecrackers killed it xD; |
D: Noooo................ *voice echoes in distance*
|
Haiiii D:
Lue-chan killed Iro-chan's thread :gonk: |
For shame! D:
