It seems like it wouldn't work sometimes, but it actually does pretty well. Another nice thing about the yellow is that if you do it on a separate layer, you can just use hue/saturation and experiment. And if you hate it, you can turn it back to white. 8D!
Thanks a lot! I'm going to miss all my friends but otherwise I'm freaking excited to be done with high school forever. ;A; But yeah... trail building sucks. They only make us do it so we don't get in trouble near the end. And THAT is because they just go ahead and assume every last one of us is some kind of terrible delinquent. |
I'll take your word for it. And yes, that is true! I'm still getting used to SAI at the moment (I like their water colour effects, although I'm still not used to how it blends after being Photoshop-conditioned for years). Photoshop has great layering options, however!
I know I was darned happy to be done with high school myself. xD I hope you and our friends would still keep in touch with each other after. Though I seldom see my friends now, for they are busy with work and such or are overseas, it's nice to be able to see/talk with them again after a while to catch up. :) Trail building? Schools are generally like that, aren't they? Even when they know there are some nice kids, they like to believe there's a little demon in there getting ready to unleash at any moment. D:< |
I love sai haha but there are a few things it doesn't do as well. I tend to switch back and fourth between photoshop and sai. I do lineart and flats in photoshop and soft painting in SAI and touch-ups in photoshop. For my cell shaded gradient stuff I only use photoshop though. P: They are useful for different things I guess.
Yeaaaaah. *dies* Some of my friends are under me so I could probably come back and visit some lunch time next year while I'm on break and they aren't. But many of my friends at school are from overseas anyway so that's hard. D: Guess I have to buck up and use facebook because most people don't bother using anything else. Trail Building is our manual labour. Also camping in the middle of no where with no running water for a few days. Dx But at the end they reserved an entire hotsprings for us so I guess that's okay. One bad one ruins the crop as they say. 99% of us can be fine but they don't care. *shrug* *cackles and acts like a demon* |
