I love the no spam rules. I also like how the mods actually force the General discussion to have discussion in it and not just questions. I agree that the no gold in the word games fourm is bad since it seems like a fun fourm, even though I only posted there once or twice.

The rule I dislike most would be unable to use the coding for speech bubbles and just in short, decorating ones' post. Now, if you could get more, with no max THEN I'd be perfectly okay with it but.. since there is a max.. I think a bit more freedom would be nice instead of just the color size and such OR perhaps find a means to disable the increase of gold for the BBC stuff. Then.. that could make ALL of us happy? No? XD As to me, if you're gonna disable all of this.. then why allow people to use a shitload of hearts in their posts WHEN it takes what.. 5-6 letters just to MAKE ONE heart... Have 6 hearts or so and yeah the letters add up which in turn so does the gold... Etc Etc. (I don't voice my opinions much because I just don't see the point but I am now only because the thread maker is a friend who I much respect and she asked us to come visit =3) Another minor one that bugs me is the double posting. I don't like it. Short reason why, I'm a neat, well organized freak and at times I NEED TOO! D< The rule that I love the most would be ... well.. I don't have one. This website took a while and a lot from me to get used to it and allow me to learn to tolerate and enjoy this place but even so, doesn't mean I have to truly like it all. I'm just careful to make sure I mind rather I agree or not so that I can enjoy time with friends and sometimes, meet new ones. =3 |
Thanks Jurupamae, of course you are people and as people you guys can fail, it is hard to be a mod or cm because you deal with people and it is stressing, now understand this thread is intend to be constructive and not destructive.

Hehe, really? Thats awesome though. But yeah I've always felt this way, especially about those damn hearts because yes I DO know the code for 'em I just don't use 'em because I don't care. If I want a heart I do the gaia code even though it just stays as text here. XD If you ever meet Ji-chan (if ya don't already) She can tell ya that we've had our fair share of heated discussions on MSN and the phone over stuff like this. I might seem quiet and without opinion or knowledge but this is far from true. I observe rather well, even on gaia. Ya can't be some place and not learn about it for then whats the point? Opinions are useless in my eyes unless ya know 94% of the picture to make yours logical and even have CHANCE of getting noticed. But of course mine hardly doubt since I'm not a discussion person. XD;; Again, I don't see the point . =/ |

I really love the no spamming, bumping rule. Mindless people with no mind for a conversation is very irratating. You feel ignored, and put out like someone is giving you the cold shoulder. An online forum based community is really about the conversation. Not about how to spam and bump for gold just to have pixels on your avatar.
I don't really hate any of the rules. But I'm still new so i guess the more I explore and hang around I might come up with one that gets on my nerves. One I don't understand though is the rule about decorating your posts. i really like to jazz up my posts. But I can learn to adjust from that. |
Personally I don't like the double posting rule because I like to separate things in different posts so that people can read them better.However, I do understand that rule because everyone earns gold by posting.So it would be a bad advantage towards some people.
Although it would be nice if we could just have a chatterbox to spam in.That way more people will not have to go off to other sites to satisfy those spamming urges.However, I don't need to because I can easy threads to respond to.Like this one.So I'm neutral when it comes to the spam rule. |

I think It'd have to be the Doubl Posting "No posting twice, once under the other, it's considered spam" I just dont get the freedom i get on gaia, But i guess such a great site does come with a price Which rule you love the most and why? The No bumping rule and the no random off topic rule, thats one of the reason i am starting to dislike gaia. I mean have you ever been having a really nice conversationa and some random comes in a goes "LYK BUMP, I LIKE PIE!!!1111ONE1111ELEVEN!!!111" It's not fun. |
