Anyone remember the Smurfs?
Back in the days, in the 1980's, every kid knew about the show, The Smurfs. If you do not know what is The Smurfs, it was these blue small people that lived in mushroom houses. There were only one girl in the village. Her name was Smurfette. The other characters was Papa Smurf, Baby Smurf, Brainy, Grouchy, Vanity Smurf, Jokey, and many more.
Remember Gargamel and Azrael? Gargamel is the wizard that lives in the forest. Azrael is the cat that follows him around. They both hate Smurfs and trys to capture them. Luckly for the Smurfs, they always find a way to escape. What memories do you have of the show, The Smurfs? |
I loved The Smurfs when I was a kid, along with Winnie The Pooh. ^^
And I still remember few of the CDs and the songs that were in radio too. Heh, gotta love those blue cuties. x3 |
The smurfs rocked! I always used to watch an episode before I was dragged off to school. Smurfette was okay, though I felt bad for her with being the only girl in the village. I always thought clumsy, grouchy and greedy smurf were adorable. Vanity smurf annoyed me at times though.

i used to enjoy the smurfs and used to watch it at 5 years old x3 it was like 1997 though ;P i also loved the power rangers good times =D and i did and sill do love digimon pokemon and dragonball z i love all the shows i grew up with except for barney and the teletubbies xD

When I was younger there was a water flume type of ride at Kings Island for younger kids. You'd ride in this boat around a giant track past the smurfs. They knocked it down like ten years ago and put in a haunted castle deal. I think I was more disappointed at the time that it was no longer a water ride but now that I'm more nostalgic I also just miss it because it was the smurfs. lol

Oh my golly goodness! The smurfs rock my socks off! I love that series on the t.v. I don’t think they play it any more, but I love that show! I used to watch that all the time, and it was the first show I watched when I moved into a new house when I was 5. good times, good times. I just can’t forget those little elfs. That’s what I call them. –sigh-

:lol: I used to watch that on Cartoon Network, especially when they're wasn't anything else to watch. But I preffered the Snorks instead. They were more interesting.

I watched Smurfs and I always thought they were kind of weird. I mean little blue people living in mushrooms theres just something weird about that and the fact that there was only one female was kind of weird as well. But Smurfs where great any way.
What are Snorks? Were they those green things that lived in the sea or was that something else. I seem to remeber weird green things that looked like seaweed that lived under the sea. |

ha! i remember them. but i was in the 90's so it was hard to catch it on tv and whenever i did get wo watch it, it was always the same episode o.O . I think it was the one where the one of the smurfs turn into gold or something like that XP lol. There was only one female too? heh.. wierd..

Who could forget Papa Smurf??? :D I felt sorry for him having to advise and help keep the others under control! lol! Azurel the cat was so awesome! :D

Ive never watched an episode in my life.
But I have seen MILLIONS of comedies and parodies on the Smurfs, so I understand the concept of the show and have but one question, which is probably the most frequently asked question in the world: Why is Smurfette the only female in the Smurfs? D< |
I remember seeing a couple of episodes of the smurfs,and the snorks,too.I think I saw a marathon on cartoon network once,or maybe my parents let me rent a video or two,but I don't really remember all that much,just a few parts of some of the shows.
