Well my situation was when I was in the 9th grade, and I decided to skip my math class with some friends, so we agreed to Hide in the dressing room for drama cause it was always open and nobody ever goes in there. So we sneaked inside and hung out for the whole class period.Intill we heard someone coming, so we all found a spot to hide and oh my god it was funny. So the teacher walks in and looks around investigating and I'm hiding in a closet where its so obvious.I know this isn't scary story but being there was terrifying just thinking about getting caught and getting In school Suspension [ISS] Or detention!

I was walking down a street one night. The area was going through some type of maintenance with the lights and they went off. It was around midnight when I was walking home, and they started to flicker. I freaked at that at first, because I wasn't used to it, and I wasn't really horror-esque back then.

So. The lights were flickering and I was paying attention to them. This guy comes along and POW. I get mugged. Great, right? That freaked me out. I continued walking home, since it wasn't very far, and I no longer had my cellphone with me.

I pass by an alley and this dog jumps out, tackles me to the ground, and rips my shoulder open. The stupid thing had rabies, I later find out.

Dx

Srsly, I hated that night. It was the worst and the scariest, mostly because of the stitches and the dog. The mugger really wasn't all that scary. I'm thankful he wasn't one of those... yea.

>..>''

Anyway.
That's my story.

My most scariest was when I fell off a ladder at school last week. I was climbing it coz we had to get a ball of the roof. I am scared of ladders and my worst thought happened. I sprained my ankle but the best thing was that my mother yelled at my teacher for making the students go up. Funny thing is though we are all in adult learning classes, my mother just saw what happened and was feeling protective apparently. Oh wells, thats what happened.

I've had a lot of scary experiences (several of them involving clowns and handheld chainsaws...), but my most recent one was yesterday's Ungodly Hour Scarefest.

At around nine o'clock of the evening, I was cleaning an area in my room to do some sit-ups when I saw a small, brown, fiddleback-shaped spider. Did I mention my lifelong fear of spiders?

Being the perfectly rational human I am, I automaticly switched into Panic Mode and assume it's a brown recluse. Holding back a shriek, I walked briskly out of my room.

Fast forward to Midnight. I couldn't sleep, and I kept worrying about the spider I saw. As I typically do when I'm nervous, I starting hugging myself. I felt a strange bump near my shoulder. A jolt of panic striking my nerves, I walks to the bathroom in the darkness. I turn on the light, and I notice a small, brown, mark.

Subconsciously throwing my experience as a high school med-care student (I am taking a class on Medical Care, and intend to become a Med. Tech.), I panic, get a small blade out from the drawer, and start to stab, slash, and slice at it. No matter what I did, it wouldn't come off!

After several minutes of bleeding out of several small, yet potientally infected cuts, I calm down, go into the living room, and turn on the computer. I go to my Favorites, click on a first aid website, and look up brown recluse spider bites.

It turns out that, depending on sensitivity to the bite, the wound would turn into a small white blister surrounded by a swollen area.

To add salt to the wound, it also turns out that the "bite" was actually a blemish I neve rnoticed before.

The moral of the story: Research before you nearly wet yourself out of fear.

I'm scared of ambulance-alarms nowadays:
-so yes, dealing with life and death, I guess those are the scariest situations I've been in and those eerie alarms remind me of those moments.

People say, when you've seen a lot of death in your life you get used to it-that ain't exactly true, it's always different...and most of the time it is scary and un-worldly. The moment that you have to (or witness the) fight for someone's life and it slips in front of your nose..it is unforgetable and well, traumatizing. I don't think I will ever forgive myself for those moments, even though there was nothing I could've done to make it better.

Other, more normal situations (nowadays) are the ones in which I must reach for a deadline and I'm soooo close and still have soooo much work to do and my whole year and education depend on those very moments (such as this summer when I had to finish my graduation project on the nick of time and it was my last chance to get a grade in that area-of all my life). Off course the sleep deprivation made it a lot worse, I got panic attacks and I stopped eating, working and working 24/7 never stopping...ack.

Me and my friends were driving home from the pool hall in two separate cars, it's about 2 o'clock in the morning.

Of course being guys, young stupid guys, they decide to race.

I didn't really think much of it because it was so late and really no one was on the highway so I kinda didn't say anything even though we were going over a hundred.

Well my friend in the other car that was driving started dozing actually, and didn't notice the car infront of him until it was almost to late.

They were going the speed limit.

He slammed on the brakes but it wasn't enough so he swerved to the side infront of me and my friend and slammed into the wall at atleast 90 mph.

Amazingly no one got hurt. But that was my scariest moment, I was hysterical, crying, they all thought I was scared because WE almost wrecked but it was more like, oh god I just almost lost my two best friends.

When I had to choose between my own mother and the man I wanted to be with for the rest of my life.

Long story short, she put a gun to his face and it had to be settled in court. Who;s side was I going to be on?

Once when I was 14, one of my friends was having a birthday sleep over.
After her mom fell asleep we all snook out, and went to hang out with some dudes. On our way home, we got picked up by some cops... Because her mom woke up, found us missing and called the police.
I was scared because not only do most 14 year olds have some fear of Authority figures, but two of the girls had been drinking, and the birthday girl had taken some pills, and of course there was no way my parents weren't gonna find out.
Didn't take me long after that to stop hanging out with that crowd.

We were all piled in the back seat of a car when the caught us. So it was kind hard to just break out and run.

Oh and this one time when I was 16, I was letting this chick that ran away from home stay with me.
One day some random out of uniform cop came to the door, talking about "Harboring a fugitive."
That was kind of scary too, but my mom already knew and I'd already dealt with the cops a couple times before, so it wasn't as nerve racking.

I don't really hate them, but they do make me paranoid.
<.< >.>
But then again, it's just my nature to be overly paranoid.

Joshizer 10-12-2007 02:44 PM

Uhm, thats not scary. :/

Majinkoz 10-12-2007 02:49 PM

Um...okay let me see. I don't have a lot of scary situations in my life...it's pretty boring to say the least. But I do have to admit when I was 5 years old, I was sitting at my grandmas house in the kitchen. She had a huge sheep dog named Daisy, and she was also so well tempered.

So I was sitting there eating my strawberries and then suddenly, I'm not sure what happened but she snapped and bit my foot...and it wasn't just a nip she grabbed hold of my foot and would let go and she started to shake and growl.

For me that was personally the scariest situation of my life, because I was so young and that was the first time I've had to go to the hospital for something really BAD. So it was a lot of first for me as well...like riding in an ambulance...etc...

I was in the hospital for several overnights and I was even in the hospital for my birthday. :'( lol...it's fine now, but I still have this huge scar on my foot and on occasion it'll hurt, but I'm not sure if it's because of the scar of if it's psychological...

Joshizer 10-12-2007 03:08 PM

Wow, that is scary!
Another time for me was when I was at my girlfreinds house and We were like laying on her bed talking and listening to music, so than we started like making out and etc than we took our shirts off with her bra still on and i heard a car so I jumped up and looked out her window and her dad was home, omg i got so scared I put my shirt back on so fast and hid on her closet.Haha so than her dad came in and got in the shower and i ran home.Oh and by the way i live right across the street from her! So that was another scary time!

Scariest situation i been in would probably be a good few years ago now when my cousin had just turned 17 (i was just bout to turn 16 myself) and we went out for his birthday (and had a couple of sneaky drinks too :P lol)

around midnight we were walking through an area of where i live called east mains (there were 6 of us) and as we walked round the corner there was their local gang

about 40 or so of them, and they had been drinking too by the looks of it and thought it would be fun to jump us :S

they stole money from my cuz first, then they asked him where he was from.

he said he lived in the area so they left him alone, they asked me and i said i lived wit my cuz so they left me alone

then they asked my cousins dumb ass friend where he was from, "greenhills" he said. next thing i remember was looking back to see 2 guys smashing his face off a wall

we eventually got away, but had to drag my cousins mate part of the way coz he passed out a couple of times lol

thats my scariest story :S

casith 10-12-2007 03:21 PM

ive had 2 horrifying moments

ok i was at my summer camp and we where sitting around at the capture the flag field waiting for the other group to arrive to play capture the flag and being 12 year old boys bored out of our minds we did something stupid (who didnt see that coming) our couslers wherent watching us but instead where looking around for the missing group we looked around and found a log it was really small only like 2 1/2 feet long and a foot wide
and of course what did we do? stood on the friggin log and tried to do the roll the log thing now when i got up a dick named brian kicked the friggin thing out from under me i fell back onto the ground and dislocated my elbow. my palm was touching the back of my shoulder it had gone 180 degrees THE WRONG WAY
of course i was screaming and my counsleor in training
saw what happened came over and was telling me not to touch it im a 12 year old boy with a broken arm what am i going to do...IM GONNA TOUCH IT!!!! i managed to relocate my arm but turns out i also broke of a chunk of the bone...goodie now i needed major surgery to screw the bone back in place then 6 months later i needed to have another painful surgery to take the screw out!!! but now im fine

the interesting thing is if i had listened to the counsler in training i could have had major nerve damage and even had the arm amputated (thanks counsler in training your a dick!)

my other scariest moment was when i was at another sleep away camp and we had to go into the woods
at night alone and survive...fun...wel of course being 13 year old boys with overactive imaginations
we freaked out...
we started "seeing things" which turns out where actually the girls from the camp sneaking away from thier camp site to play spin the bottle with use and damn did we freak out when we didnt know it was them...my friend jameson took out a pocket knife and widled us some sharp sticks (the whole event took about 2 hours the girls where afraid we ad an adult with us)incase of something actually being there

Joshizer 10-12-2007 03:27 PM

Lately? This was last winter, the only thing I've had this year was almost got hit by a car twice and almost hit some idiot who didn't know whether or not it was a good idea to walk through moving traffic.

It was fine weather on our lake, and it was cold but the sun was out a bit and a good day for just going around, because it was so calm. It was winter and a storm suddenly popped out of nowhere. Wind, rain, we fell out. Together we managed to get back to shore, somehow I'm sure not how against huge waves, luckily we headed the right direction towards my house. Almost drowned a lot of times. The biggest problem was that was had life jackets on, and we where trapped under the canoe, so we took them off to get out, and then we had to get back with a canoe, we should have left it but we didn't, and without life jackets we kept on falling on the water, getting pushed under the waves, but luckily we could pull each other out. But we got back. It was scary, one of the more scary parts of my life. Thats the short version of that horrible adventure.

Sagitar 10-12-2007 03:45 PM

lots of those, I think...

but really scary one was when I was 10, and I was on a holiday in Greece. >.> ( I really hate remembering this)..
We were swimming with my friends, and we got bored because there were no real waves.
We had these cute blow up toy thingies (don't know what they're called in english), and we decided to just lay on them on water and enjoy the sun and talk.
we faced the other way so we didn't really see the beach.. and before we know it, it has been a looong time and we've floated really far far from the beach o_o everybody there looked so small.
of course we panicked and my friend and my sister started to swim back to the beach, but since I can't swim I had to stay on the toy and try to kick the hardest I could.
Unfortunately, as the toy got water on it, it became really slippery and I really had to fight to keep myself on it, the bottom of the sea was NOT close, I didn't even want to look down because you could really see NOTHING there o___o
I became so tired of kicking and nobody would come to help I was really afraid.. >.>
but yeah, my dad came to help eventually after my friend told him that I was really far away..

so yei, got safe and all but that was really scary to me ^^;

The Haunted Hotel? xB
Most of anything that scares me is supposed to scare me anyway, so I've never really been in anything life-threatening.
