Uh no its icky.Usually i peel off the the peel and then at the bottom snap it off and throw it away.

Last time I ate a banana right down to the bottom the taste of it stayed in my mouth all day. The feeling of it was so gross it felt like something started to live in my mouth. No matter how many times I brushed my teeth that day and chewed gum I couldn't get rid of the taste.
And what is up with the stringy things on bananas?? eat one of those and the taste stays forever in your mouth. |

I eat all of the banana. It doesn't taste at all different to me. Granted, my puppy adores bananas, and so I don't get to the bottom as often as I like to. Cute story I feel I must tell. She took a banana off the counter (she's an abnormally huge Boxer) and brought it in to me. I put it back. She brought it back...again. I asked her if she wanted it. She barked. I tooka chance and gave it to her.

it tastes 'ew'. I usually pop the last part of the banana into my mouth but make sure I don't eat that part. It tastes kinda bitter and dry and 'chocky' as someone posted before me. Yea, I leave it in the peel and throw it away, too. I LOVE fruit, and banana boat sundaes are the best! |
