ok, i know everybody at one point or another has them. mine are kevin spacey, edward norton, and for some strange reason frankie muniz. yeah, everyone thinks my celebrity crushes are weird.

so, which celebrity are you crushing on right now? (this could apply to any celebrity: actor, singer, tv personality, etc.)

I really really really really like Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman. *melts*

oh yeah, i'm with you on those. i definitely can see the appeal of alan rickman, and i have yet to meet a person who didn't think johnny depp was incredibly hot.

Katherine Moennig, who plays Shane on The L Word. Shane is ridiculously hot. I love that show so much! <3

@Rally: You should see the Sweeney Todd movie coming out this Christmas then! They're both starring in it. ^_^

I knew someone was going to mention Sweeney Todd. xD I've known about it, and recently saw a preview for it and I was like, drooling throughout the whole thing.

Memarcus, I do think he's incredibly hot but I also think he's an incredible actor. So I'm not just a babbling fangirl.

yeah, i completely agree. i have a good actor fetish myself (i mentioned it in the fetish thread, lol) main reason why i enjoy him so much.

I do not think Johnny Depp is hot at all. I do think he’s a great actor though. Anyway, my celebrity crush is Matt Rubano, the bass player from Taking Back Sunday. I’ve always thought he was cute and he has a great personality. Other than him, I don’t really think anyone else is hot or anything like that. A lot of what makes someone attractive to me is personality so that’s part of the reason.

irl, that's true for me. i don't usually have crushes irl unless i get to know the person first. but when it comes to celebrities that's a completely different matter altogether. i'm involved in theater/acting myself, so i find those interested in acting and performing incredibly attractive (and that does apply to irl as well) so, it's pretty easy for me to fall for celebrities.

Does it make you wierd if you don't crush on celebertie crushes..I mean Johny Depp as Jack sparrow was pretty hot but like..I unno I haven't really ever had crushes like most normal girls. Because I don't find a point in trying to like someone that oyu know you will never get to be with no matter what you do or say.

lol, i don't think that there's anything wrong with celebrity crushes. everybody has a crush on somebody unattainable in their lives, but that doesn't mean you still can't find the person attractive. this applies to irl as well. for instance, i know girls who are attracted to men who are already in a relationship with another girl, who, because of sexual identity, are not into girls, or simply feel the guy is "out of their league." so i think there's nothing wrong with crushing on celebrities at all. but even if you don't find crushes in celebrities, that doesn't mean that there's anything unusual about that either. everybody has their own crushes for their own particular reasons. fame has ultimately nothing to do with it, other than the fact that there image is exposed to more people.

I agree completely, MasterChiefrei. Crushes, by their very nature, can and often exist without any possibility of it being returned. To me, a crush is just someone I find really attractive or appealing in some way. Since a couple of the girls that I've crushed on are straight, they obviously wouldn't have a chance of being returned, but that doesn't stop any purely physical attraction from existing. ^^

Crushes are usually one-sided. If two people like each other and are aware of their mutual attraction, most people no longer refer to it as a crush.

I unnoI have always found crushes with me only work out with people I get to know. Not people I don't know like celeberties. >_<
I have alays found no purpose in likeing any one like that so.. I have never really botherd. I would rather focus on someone I could have a chance being with then someone I highly doubt I would ever end up in a relation ship with. So thats just my point of view on it and always has been my point of veiw on it. XD

yeah, that's ok. as i stated before, if you don't have crushes on unattainable guys, that's perfectly ok. (i'm guessing you don't have crushes on unattainable guys irl either) the only difference i find about irl crushes, and celebrity crushes is that the celebrities image is just broadcast to more people. but everyone has there own reasons for the crushes they have.
