My friend has something like that (minus the color) under her eye from when she was three. She's twenty one now.
Point being, you can leave it be and it'll be fine :p |
Yeaaaah, you should go see a doctor. Things like that never end well. :<
|
You should save it, I bet it'll be worth something one day. :] |
That's a little disturbing... I can't say I'd be pleased if I had a little piece of rock in my body. But then again... When I was younger, a lot younger, I was playing with my pencil and stabbed myself with it. I have a piece of pencil lead in my skin. o_o

but now, thanks to house, every time someone coughs, i figure out every little symptom, and end up doing a differential diagnosis in my head. xD |
I wouldn't worry to much about it causing some sort of health issue after this long, but you might want to get it out anyways. If it decides to move south you would have a permanent 'rock in your shoe' and it would most likely drive you insane.
|
Eh I'd cut it out myself. Doesn't look too deep under the skin, and plus the skin on your foot is thicker, you probably won't even bleed.
If it's been two to three years though and nothings happened then just leave it in there if you want. If it was dangerous something would have happened by now ;) |
Well, I stand by my state ment.
XP |
That's odd. I'd get it checked out. ^^ |
You should probably get a doctor to look at it, if they say it won't affect anything, have fun with your strange lump and a cool story, or if it is going to be bad. I might be overreacting, but it's how I think with a doctor for a mother, I always tend to over analyze the medical side.
|
I don't think it's of that much harm if it has been in there for years and not done any harm yet. But if it does start to swell or itch, or make you sick or in pain, you should most likely get it checked/cut out.
|
That's weird, you should still get it checked out.
|
your friends would probably get a kick out of it - lol.
Do you feel it when you wear a shoe, etc? It doesn't seem to hurt or anything, so if the doctor says it's OK I'd keep it ^o^ DO NOT DIY. or have someone unprofessional do it... that's too dangerous - and probably painful. |
Haha, that's hilarious, I have a chunk of glass stuck in my wrist from when I punched through a window..(That hurt alot lol)

and proceeded to dig in. xD It wasn't as bad as it sounds, it didn't hurt too bad. o_O; |
I HAVE THE SAME THING ON MY LEG.
Except it's pencil lead from when this guy stabbed me with a pencil. >>" |
|
if it starts swelling, or bleeding, or making prank calls to japan, then you should have a doctor look at it. but it's been there for about a year so i don't think it will be a huge probem.
i have a piece of graphite in my skin because i sat down really fast and i forgot i was holding a pencil and i accidentally sat on it. ( owww! ) so now it's lodged in my leg. it's been there for 2 years... |
I'd have it checked out. It may be fine now and then again it may get bad in the future. Its just a wise thing to get a docotrs opinion. :)
|
If it's been there that long, the chances of you getting infected from it are pretty much nil. Your body has just grown around it and accepted it. I think at this point the worse that could possibly happen is your body could decide to reject it later, at which point it will slowly move toward the outside again.
Always check with your doctor if you're worried, but it is just a cool little decoration right now. (LMAO!) My mother-in-law was stabbed with a pencil in grade school and has a spot on her back where the lead broke off and the body encapsulated it ... it looks really creepy. |

DON'T Try to cut it out yourself XDDD (It does not work I tried >>)
I had a huge piece of led in my hand(stabbed my self while trying to get a pencil from my book bag in school) It was there for like 3 years and then... Because I tough "Oh how awesome would it be if I dug it out!!" I attempted.... Yeah.. It so did not work. I went down... And down and down but for some reason never got it. And it hurt like hell... So I think if it is bothering you have a Doctor check it out. But I don't think it will do any harm. I still have the led in my hand... A matter of fact I have led in both of my hands :D And I feel fee-*Dies* Joking >> Obviously. But yeah. It should be fine XD |
