A trip to California?
If you got to visist in California for a week, what would you do first thing?
I know that regular pedestrians can make plans to visit movie/Television show filmings (Depending on what part you stay in), go to famuos skateparks/amusement parks, or visit famous areas. I would go to all of California's biggest skate parks...What would you do? Anybody know about anything else super awesome in Cali? Post away. :3 |
To be honest, I really have no idea XD
|
Well I live here.
Half of the day is already shot and tomorrow I have to work. Anyway. If you can't drive, I suggest visiting the San Francisco Bay Area ('swhere I live too). Public transportation is readily available to just about anywhere. There's tones of stuff to do. In Southern California (where I used to live), It's harder to get around without a car. It's a bit easier if you get into Los Angeles. Keep in mind that LA is very spread out so it takes a bit to get anywhere especially on their buses. I recommend, Long Beach, Anaheim, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood. :) |
I have it all planned out!
1. I'd visit my penpal. We've been friends for years and this upcoming summer may be the first time we'll meet in person! 2. Go to Chinatown and Koreatown. Shop, shop, shop. 3. Go to Disneyland. |
You should visit Japantown in San Francisco too!! :D It's awesome!
|
if i ever go to cali first thing id do is call my friends i have there
then i'd go hang with them for a while :D |
i'd go see my friends who live in CA that i met on Gaia and then shop. <33 |
I'd visit any national parks there.
I'm not sure what else is in California... maybe check out some of it's beaches, that might be fun. And shop XD Only things that really appeal to me that I can think of right now on the spot. :3 o: They have a Japantown? I would SO visit that like everydayxD |
I'd get lost! I had a few friends from Cali, but I don't talk to them anymore.
I'd rather just go to P.E.I to see my boyfriend. :3 |
Disney! *woot!*

There's going to be an Anime Convetion in Japantown I think at the end of the month. |
Well, first of Cali is a pretty big state. It takes almost 24 hours of driving up or down the entire state.
Also, Northern, Southern and Middle Cali are all very different from each other. There is more above than just San Fransisco, and that place is so not northen cali. I live pretty far up north, pretty close to the oregon border. So well, I spend every week here. Occassionally making trips down to the bay area. |
lol I live here, but i live in a boring town named Modesto. But anyways, i would go to LA. I've only been there like twice. I love it there.
|
I went to California in April once, and it was the worst "vacation" I have ever been on.
I wouldn't go back. D: |

well, when you can live here, and you drive. Its not really that surprising.
I woudl suggst Oak Glen (not okland) it is betuiful. Especially now that it is apple season. The thin gis that yuo cna up there, eat, picinic, pick apples, pcik pumpkins, and have a good time. Or yopu can explore Big bEar. Its snowing and th slopes are perfect. The hills are barren of people, and although it is chilly, you can get around the cold with a jacket and long pants. Either trip, if you go on weekdays, the traffic is almost none, and theree is almost noe one there. So i woudl suggest going, they are both great tyimes to be had... |

Was just down at Collusa/Williams not that long ago. Collusa a cute little town. |
O: I went to California a few years ago, I suggest a different location for a vacation. I hated it! Of course, there's Disneyland and great beaches and shopping, but it's REALLY hot. I mean, super hot, and Disney Land's not a lot of fun when no one will go one the good rides with you. xP
We also had a PS2 stolen out of our hotel room. My uncle's sister opened the curtains in the window that looked directly into our room and didn't close them when we left. And then our window was broken. They stole my bag, too. Dx So I had to pack all my clothes up with everyone elses'. |
oh jeez.
i live in california. like, the part everyone wants to visit. i go to concerts, i drive down hollywood & vine, and i shop on melrose. but honestly. people always ask me if i'm friends with celebrities, if i live in a huge house, and all this other ridiculous stuff. i love it here, but not everyone is rich and famous. sure, there's a lot of amazing stuff here, but there's just as many boring places as everywhere else. |
i live in cali and im like 15 minutes away from Hollywood.
so ive been almost everywhere that's somewhat exciting. but if your coming here for the first time i'd say go to melrose in Hollywood for shopping. it's kinda expensive but they have amazing stuff down there. also go to universal studios. go to city walk and go inside the park. i really love that place. so many good times. oh! and go to the house of blues! most amazing venue ever. i dont really think there is anything else thats a lot of fun out here. :/ |
I would visit a friend there that I havent seen..in awhile.
xD Ah. It sure would be nice to talk to them again. ><; |
I would visit one of my best internet friends, Hope, first thing. Then I'd get her to show me around because otherwise I'd have no idea what I was doing.
|
>.<
I'm planning to go to a college in California (I live in Florida) because I know I'll love it there. Well, I'm going to visit -> Chinatown, San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge, the beaches, Gamers (an anime toy shop), manga bookstores, Hollywood, los angeles, some cons where I'll meet friends I knew online, anime conventions to see cosplayers and more, and apparently there's a Japantown! wow... I'd love to live there >.< |
