Cars, bikes, and buses. Oh my.
 

So today I got to ride on a motorcycle for my first time. It was awesome. And now I want to learn how to drive one and get one myself. That'll be pretty far into the future though. They're much more fun than cars, though they are more dangerous. That fact got me thinking a little bit and that brings me to my point.
What would you rather ride or drive around in? A motorcycle, a car, a truck, a van, a bus, or something else that I missed?
Why would you rather be in it? Is it because it's more fun? Maybe you feel safer? Or does it look better than everything else?

Off topic: My username is the same as yours, only in Spanish. Lol.

On topic: I know a lot of guys who all want to drive motorcycles because they think they're soooooo cool. They're okay, but they're super dangerous. Both my brothers got motorcycles and my parents warned them that they are dangerous and they both said the same thing "I'm not going to wipe out!" Guess what happened to both of them? They both wiped out and ruined their bikes. Plus, it would not be very sensible to get a motorcycle where I live, because it's winter 7-9 months out of the year and you wouldn't want to drive it in the cold anyway.

I would rather drive around in a ridiculously sexy, fast, durable car. Right now I have a Nissan Altima and it's kind of cute, but not all that cute. Also she's got a few problems with her, but she works just fine.

I kinda agree with you on the van thing. At least, the part about being able to throw everything in there and not worry. It drives me crazy when people flip out if you track a tiny particle of dirt into their car or something. Or when they lecture you on dirtying up a 'nice car.' Having one that neither you or them is really going to care about getting dirty/dented/otherwise messed up is nice.

My brother did the same thing. Messed his leg and bike up when he did it. The bone was sticking out and everything. The doctors put a rod in his leg until it healed, then took it out and two days later it broke again while he was doing laundry. D= Doctors put the rod back in and he hasn't gone back to take it out. He stills loves his motorcycles though.

But when I can drive, I think I'll stick to a car. Boring and safe... er.

Driving isn't really that safe, but riding a motorcycle is much more dangerous.
(One time, my mom almost got killed by a porta potty. o.o;; No lie. It fell off the truck in front of her, bounced, and then bounced again off into the shoulder.)

They're all dangerous, really. I just look at it this way: When it's your time to go, you're gonna go. xD Whether you're sitting in a rocking chair in your living room or on a motorcycle in the middle of a ten car pileup.

I feel better in a car. Though a motorcycle seems a tad bit appealing. :3

I think motorcycles have a bad name, it's the people who are idiots who drive motorcycles and cars that make them dangerous... well more dangerous (x_X)

I don't even like driving a car, let alone anything else :P

I love riding bikes. But right now, my bike is a pink kid's one since my dad refuses to let me buy a new one and I've moved from my friends who has the cool bikes.

I'd like to drive a minivan. They're comfortable!

But first, I gotta get my permit and license >.< I'm such a procrastinator!

I'd like to drive a hot little car, only because it gets too slippery and cold most of the year where I like so I couldn't ride a bike as much as I want to.

I'd rather someone else drove me.

My first boyfriend had a motorbike and it was such a buzz going around on it. He was a bit of a twunt though and use to drive it stupidly fast at times x.x

O.O Wow, he was lucky. Was it a tractor trailer kinda truck?

Not long ago, a woman in a little sports car got pretty much crushed by a tractor trailer. There was a turn on the downslope of a hill so she was stopped and waiting for the tractor trailer to go by when a van came up behind her and couldn't see her because of the hill. The van smashed right into the back of the sports car and threw it into the other lane where the tractor trailer ran it over. ;.; She didn't make it, and was only like 24. It was a sad thing to hear, but it just goes to show you that you aren't safe in a car either. They crumple up like tin cans. D=

Driving stupidly fast is a very bad thing. I have yet to meet a guy that didn't do it though. o.o;;

I drive a crappy 89 ford escort... It's probably about to fall apart, but I gotta say, my friend has a (I would venture a guess at) 1999 car, and she just had some major trouble with it. So as much as I complain about my car, at least it stays together!

I want to own a moped tho... I think they are too cute!

Big cars are so much nicer to drive.
I've got a horrible little Vauxhall Vectra and it feels like I'm driving a toy car >.< I'm trying to get my Dad to swap cars with me. He has a Mitsubishi Shogun 4x4 and that's so much nicer to drive ^.^
Only problem is mine's an 03 and his is an 06 one, and his is worth a lot more ._.
I still use his car more than mine though LOL
I just wish I didn't have to drive myself ._.

I'd feel safe in any automobile as long as my brother was driving it. :B I've never ridden on a motorcycle before, but I really want to! D:

And I SO do not feel safe on the bus. XD I'd rather not ride the bus, but some days I have no choice. No seat belts. ><;

I never understood why buses don't have seat belts either. If that bus crashes into something or flips there will be people flying everywhere. O.O There's not even really anything for you to hold onto.
