Eating Healthy: Do You Do It?
Though it's best for you body for you to eat healthy, more often then not, we don't do it. ;P
I've just recently found out that I should lay off the sugar, though nothing bad has happened to me yet. Though I knew better than that, I had 3 cans of soda and a handful of candy at a party. @[email protected] My habits at school aren't too great either. At school, there are a ton of unhealthy options that don't taste half bad. More often then not, I find myself buying a mini pizza. Would you prefer to eat unhealthily than healthily? What are your usual eating habits? However, to make up for my horrible habits, I usually grab a Naked juice or eat a salad. Hopefully, that'll even it out a little. x3; Do you have any favorite fruits or vegetables, if any? Do you have any favorite junk foods? |
I usually eat very healthily... I'm lactose intolerant, so I can't have a lot of the sweets and calories that would be a problem. I eat a lot of crackers and bread based things... And I love fruits and vegetables. My only issue is that I'm addicted to Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi... If I'm not careful, I go through a 12 pack every two days. So I have to work on drinking more water so I drink less soda.

I myself do not really like many veggies or fruits. I know its bad for me. But, I do eat the veggies and fruits I DO like as much as I can. But...junk food just tastes better to me. I like sweets candy, and the works. Even though it isn't too good for me. So I try to limit down the portions of sweets and eat better foods. as much as I can. >< |

I eat pretty healthy. When we don't have pop around (or any good pop) I don't drink it. I drink water. I'm also drinking tea over water.
I also tend to eat wheat bread over white bread and I tend to eat most if not all of my veggies. I also know a lot of people are cutting bread out of their diet but who can stand living without their precious carbs?! Oohh <3 bread How I love thee |

@Dannigirl: xD I have to agree with you, junk food tastes a lot better than healthy food. But healthy food smothered in unhealthy food isn't too bad either. x); @P l a s t i c D o l l y: D; I don't think either. Whatever unhealty food I eat gets burned off during my Fit for Life class. It's quite a good, fast-paced class, really. you should try going to the gym. @Loaded Complex: ^o^ I love tea! I usually don't like wheat bread, but it seemed to taste especially good today. |
I've had this regular obsession of eating bread at random times of the day due to an anime. Yakitate!! Japan.

@Loaded Complex: I like bread. <3 I usually have to eat a sandwich or hamburger of some sort everyday. I've recently settled on pita and hummus. It's much healthier.

I do the best I can to eat healthy, but I have a weakness for fried foods. I love tofu, I love veggies, and I always try to get the healthiest item I can whenever my family goes out to eat. I try to eat small portions and to watch my waistline, which I think I do exceptionally well. I guess I just suffer from the "Fast Food Addiction," because I eat fast food at least 2-3 times a week.

I eat badly, but not nearly as bad as I used to. I cut down on sodium, sugar, and calories (because of the type of junk I ate I never really had a problem with carbs or fat).
Chicken and spinach is a way more common meal for me now than half a pizza. I'm almost 20 pounds lighter from it, too. |
I don't think I eat very healthy foods, but I guess it's kind of balanced. =/ I really don't know, I don't pay much attention to what is good for me, just what tastes good. Though, I will cut back if I notice I'm gaining weight.
The upside to me is that I love water and dislike most sodas. So I drink water all the time, except for the occasional coffee or hot chocolate. I also love fruits and some vegetables, so I eat those all the time. The downsides are that I love McDonald's fries and it's cheap when I'm running out of money. However, I've been trying to cut back on the McDonald's anyway, but sometimes I just can't so no to those fries. I like a lot of greasy stuff, so that certainly can't be good. I also put salt on almost everything and I heard that salt isn't good for you either. So, no, I don't think I'm much of a healthy eater. xD |

My main problem is not watching my income of calories but my income of what vitimins and other needed things. I can tell if i eat too much of one thing or not enough of another. Then theres the random cravings. Like wanting beef stew. Thats one thing that lets me know I need more iron x_x

I try my very best to stay healthly. =o My school doesn't exacaly help me with that, though, since there's two vending machines in the Cafetreia with all my favoite candy. -_-;;; Not to mention two soda machines, and one Poweraid machine... There's also a lunch truck that comes by my school everyday durring luch, but I've vode never to buy my luch from there; everything there is made from pure grease! XP
Whenever I buy pizza, or we just have pizza at home for dinner, I always take my napkin and put it on top in order to sock up all the grease. It amazes me by how much of it there really is. O_o One of my really good friends at school almost always buys her lunch from the lunchtruck, mostly it's ramen, and I have no idea how she does it. o_o She's not exacaly a person that I would say is thin, but she could really change her whole figure if she just stopped eating so much junk food for a month. I usually try to eat healthy food, but nowadays it's just too difficult to do. Plus it's too tempting when you work in an Asian restaurant and not to eat anyting, that there is served.
Plus everyday I promise myself not to eat any chocolates and cookies, but I usually forget about it when I see one xD So yeah... life is rather cruel sometimes. Though I already stopped putting sugar in my tea. |
For the most part :3 Though I do like to endulge sometimes.

well alot of ppeople are obise because they don"t eat right so well like an example I will take the movie supersize me if you saw the movie then you know what I mean he just ate junk food and then got fat I mean really fat bad medicaciaon nd maybe almost dieing. Ya' know, I know I should eat better. A lot better. I have issues with bad foods, they just taste so damn good! Like this sub I buy from Quiznos. It'd probably be okay for me if I didn't eat the largest sub they can make. Once I finish the darn thing I'm so over stuffed! That's so not healthy. Ya' know thinking about it now. I don't know if I would say I eat unhealthy. I steer away from fast foods and junk foods as much as possible, but I have a tendency to over eat. When what you're eating tastes really good, you just forget that you should only eat until your full... I on the other hand would sit and eat a whole 12oz steak, a sweet potato with all the fixin's, a salad and an appetizer! I'd be over stuffed, but I'd be happy. x_x I should work on that now that I'm realising my main issue is over eating >.>;

I used to love junk food, but in the past few years, I've been seriously outgrowing it. I don't mind a bit of junk once in a long while, but I don't like to eat it regularly.
Generally, I eat well. I strive to have fruit and/or vegetables with every meal, which I think is the single most important thing a person can do to improve their diet. If I could have my own way, I would eat all organic/local produce, but I live in a dorm with a forced meal plan, so that's not an option. My cafeteria has a great salad bar, and does decently on their dinner entreés, so I do the best I can with those. I'm really looking forward to living off campus so that I can have full control over my food. |
I try to eat a healthy diet but, it's hard to do. Everything that is affordable and tastes good isn't good for you. My husband does most of the shopping on our house too because he gets on the military base here with his dad and he refuses to read labels.
