Hmmm...
I used to have a Furby. And, well, it was evil. It wouldn't shut up. i believe I told it this at one point. And you know how sometimes, in a certain light, you see dust floating around? Well, I woke up really, really early one morning. I saw them, and for some reason I thought the Furby Goddess was mad at me because the dust particles were some secret ritual. Every morning at that time, I would see the dust floating in the air, and something reminded me that the Furby Goddess above didn't want me awake. From that one morning on, if I woke up early and saw the dust, I knew to go right back to sleep, or She would get me. I was an odd little child. |
I use to believe that if a spider bite your hand and go into your body, you will be like spider which can shoot webs! After i told my mom this, she warned me not to play with spider..(yeah after i watched spider man 1)*

I used to believe I could get squirrels as pets. I'm sure you still could, but it ain't happening for me. T__T
I remember wishing really hard every birthday when blowing out the candles. Then I actually tried catching one with my bare hands, was successful, but almost got rabies. X_X Also, I used to believe that everything was the sterotypical way that it was on TV. So, all the preppy people are mean and dumb, and all the smart people were nerds and geeky. Turns out, preppy people can be SUPER smart and nerds can actually be cool. XD I was really young then (like 5). |
I used to believe that if I accidentally damaged or destroyed a photo of someone, I'd hurt them too. I was terrified of photos for ages.

I used to believe I wasn't viewed differently from everybody else - since I never noticed I was 'chinese' and other people weren't.
I used to be afraid of stepping on the ground's shadow. I used to believe there was something living under beds, sofas, desks, in the darkness... I used to believe insects are out to get you. I used to believe Santa was made up. (jk) I used to believe people existed inside TVs and a different world. I used to believe teachers don't leave school. I used to believe my dad was verrrry tall. (he's not) I used to believe girls aren't actually 'girly' because all that pink only exists on TV. I used to believe people don't act like people act like on TV. How very wrong... I used to believe the sun was just like a lamp. |
I used to believe a lot in doing things to contact the dead like using Ouija boards and doing séances. I took it really, really seriously when I was like, 8-10 for some reason. I was really into witch craft and I'd always try to cast spells, and I had a dream journal I wrote in every morning and I'd analyze my dreams with it.
Now I have Tarot cards, a crystal ball, a palm reading book, and a dream analysis book but it's all just for fun. Plus, my crystal ball is REALLY pretty and fun to play with. xD I'm so immature. |

i used to believe that advertisers were incredibly honest. i thought that there was an unwritten honesty code when it came to commercials, and actually believed advertisers made miracle products that could cure any problem. when i grew up, i learned better.

These are all totally serious.
I used to believe there was something under my bed waiting to grab me and pull me under, so I'd seriously jump out of bed in the morning. I used to think that you HAD to be married to have kids, because once the woman was married and she wanted a baby, she would somehow magically get pregnant. I also used to believe that if I thought about it hard enough, a cartoon character would "come to life" and be my imaginary friend. OH, and I used to believe DBZ was the best anime ever. XD |

i used to believe alot of things. i beleived in santa, the easter bunny, in monsters, the boogy man, vampires, fairies. i used to beleve anything could fly if if wanted to.

Yeah, my parents are Mormons. Also, in our house, the Easter Bunny brought chocolate, sweets and books. I was in Nursery, the teacher asked "What does the Easter Bunny bring?" Everyone else shouted "CHOCOLATE!" Little Cherish shouted "BOOKS!" :oops: |
I though a bit and remembered a few more, ok first I when I was like younger than 5 (I'm not sure how old I was just that I was younger than 5) I use to believe that if you looked up at the sky for to long you would fall in. 0_o
I also believed that if you breathed in the smoke from a candle it would act as a hot air balloon and make you float in the air, I never did get that to work. |
I used to believe that if I ate fruit seeds (apple, watermelon etc) that a tree would start growing in me and come out my mouth, ears and nose with that type of fruit on it :P
EDIT: also there was this plant that would drop these tiny little cone shaped seed pods and I used to think they were fairy hats that fell off because they weren't tied on |
When I was really little, like in kindergarten, I watched Barney. My brother was 4 years older than me and hated the show and wanted me to stop watching it. He would come up with all sorts of things to get me to stop. One time he told me that I was too old to watch it and the police would come and arrest me. He said it almost happened to him once when he was my age.
I didn't watch much Barney after that xD Man, I had a mean older brother at time ._. |
