What would be worse?
Being drowned, or burned?
--I personally think being drowned would be worse because you would be consious of it the entire time, granted it might not HURT, but every time I get that feeling of panic it's a lot worse in my mind then pain... being burned on the other hand, would stop hurting when you got to third degree (and in this case that's what I meant) Jumping on a bandwagon to late, or to early? --I think jumping on to late would be more embarassing than if you did it to early, because if you were to early you could just say that you are cooler for doing it :P Losing your Cell Phone or Internet privlages? --Losing my cell would cause me to go insane! ~nuff said Getting an arm, or a leg cut off? --As long as it was my left arm, I'd be okay with it, but I use my legs to much to lose one :) |

Yeah, if you drown, you'd feel it all the time and it would take a while to die or something. If you got burned, it would be painful, but kinda faster. And it would be embarrasing if you got on late. xDD And it would be hard to get around with one leg. But since I don't have a cell phone yet (because of my freaking mom making me earn it >.<) right now my mind is set on INTERNET. |
lol i see what you mean, I hardly ever get online anyways, and my boyfriend takes up a lot of my time, so the phone thing is a major issue XD

I think getting burned would be worse. It's much more gruesome. And with the number of drowning dreams I have, I figure if I die of unnatural causes, it'll be drowning anyway. (I like water and swimming though.)
Too late is probably worse, but only because then people ridicule you. Being without internet would be way worse. That's how I communicate. I don't even have a cell phone at the moment. Hm... the limb thing's a toughy. I think... losing an arm would be worse. I think it's probably easier to have a really well-functioning prosthetic leg than a prosthetic arm because the hands are so complex. Not having a hand would interfere with my art and music. Then again... not having a leg would interfere with kendo.... |

Burned would be worse in my opinion. For one, it hurts and I'm not a fan of pain. Secondly, I like the feeling of being under water. I like the sounds and how it feels. Even if I was conscious I'd be okay. Then again, I also don't fear or look badly at death. Jumping on a bandwagon to late, or to early? I'll agree with too late. I rarely use my cell phone anymore and without RPing and watching anime, I'd go insane. Getting an arm, or a leg cut off? An arm. @Juggaletta: Lots of different art. Random doodles, paintings, sumi-e, charcoal, paper art, etc. Music that uses hands would be piano and flute, however I also want to learn the tin whistle and guitar eventually (and one day the violin, but that's a bit further off since I don't own a violin yet).

Being drowned, or burned? I think being drowned wouldn't be as bad. That's after struggling at least. Once you stop struggling the lack of oxygen makes you feel light headed. So it is pretty much like passing out, but without getting up again. Burning sounds more painful, unless it's a nuclear bomb that dropped right on top of you. That'd be an instant burnt to nothingness. Jumping on a bandwagon to late, or to early? If bandwagons are your thing, I'd go with early. Being late will just make you look silly. That and point you out as the obvious bandwagoner. I'd much rather not join it at all, they're a waste of money. Losing your Cell Phone or Internet Privileges? Well. I've never owned a cell phone. All my friends do, however, and they don't mind letting me make a quick call to my mother if I need to. :] Now then, the internet is my main way to talk to people. I use it for chatting, finding out when concerts are, shopping if I can't get to the mall, writing reports, getting homework on days I've missed, and now most places want applications sent in online! So the internet is way more important than a cell phone to me! Getting An Arm or Leg Cut Off? I'd prefer losing a leg. I use both my arms for art. Especially ceramics. If I couldn't throw my pieces on the wheel I'd be devastated. Also when I sew, I need both my hands. cooking, I use both. I use both my arms so much. & a wheel chair wouldn't be too bad once I get used to it. Or maybe they'd give me a fake leg... |

Drowning for sure, you just pass out and then die. Burning would suck.
I would probably lose my internet over my phone this week since a few of my good friends can only reach me via. phone right now, but most of the time I would lose my cell way before the net. I would rather lose a leg actually. I mean it would really suck but artificial legs make it so you can walk, there are no fake working fingers ya know? and you can hide it with pants and stuff like that. :/ and um can't remember what the other one was XP |

I'm not sure where I stand on this. On one hand, being conscious of it, and not being able to breathe for... a few minutes until I go unconcious would be horrible. But the pain of being burned? I barely use my cell, except for emergencies, or to talk to my boyfriend which is long distance. As long as it wasn't my right arm... I would rather get an arm cut off. @Juggaletta: No, sorry. I haven't gotten into the whole DA thing yet. All that would get up there though are my doodles since all my other stuff it always too big for the scanner. And I don't even have a scanner at the moment. (I had to leave it at home.)
Ah... that's such a cruel question.... I wouldn't much care about the not being able to talk thing, but I'd hate to not be able to sing. I love singing. Still, I suppose not being able to write or type would be worse. I'm far better at expressing myself when writing than when speaking and I don't really talk much anyway. |

@Juggaletta: No, not really. I do a lot of artistic things decently, but I'm not really wonderful at any. So... pretty much all they're good for is my enjoyment. Nothing I could ever make a living on.
Hm... yeah, sight would be pretty bad to lose. I depend on my sight a lot and without it, no art or internet. Of course, if I lost my hearing... no music either (since I'm certainly no Beethoven). |

Ugh. It would be horrible to be burned alive. You for one wouldn't be able to breath air into your lungs just smoke, you will burn inside and out, and even if you do survive you will have permenent skin damage.

Depends... if I was burned in an explosion, then I would pic that. But if I was burned Joan of Arc style then I don't know... With drowning it can be pretty quick, just a couple deep breaths and you are dead. But in general, drowning scares me more. Jumping on a bandwagon to late, or to early? I think too late... I don't really know about this one though. Losing your Cell Phone or Internet privlages? Losing my internet. I don't use my cell phone much except for texting and for a safety thing when on the highway. So yes, loosing my internet would be worse. I need my msn to talk to my friends and check my school email, etc. Getting an arm, or a leg cut off? Loosing an arm would be worse I think. If I lost a leg I could get a fake one. I suppose I could do that with an arm as well, but it would be harder to manage with a fake arm rather than a fake leg. |
i think the worst would be having an arm or leg cut off. to start i dont think i could take seeing my arm/leg being cut off and seeing all the blood just gus-
yea i wont go into details...... i thik drowing would be bad.. i have been in numerous cases where i have almost drowned[ with my arms and legs tied up against a board, face down] and it is NOT fun....... |
