I buy mine at Barnes and Nobles and Borders ^^
I tend to buy my manga at either Borders, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, or various other bookstores I might come across.
Mostly Borders though because they tend to have the best coupons and deals every so often. |
Borders, Barnes and nobel, and the comic stores in town. Borders has coupons and best selection for hte price, so I noramlly buy there. I always am looking for a good buy, like getting all of hot gimmick for $30 it was sooo great (it is a 12 volume series).

When I have the money I go to Borders or Barns and Noble for my manga's
I buy them at Borders, Barnes and Nobles, and whatever other book store I happen to see one I want to buy. Occasionally I get it at the library but I'm rarely there so...
I buy my manga at Borders. My mom gave me one of those keyring Borders cards and she gets coupons through her e-mail so that I frequently get up to 40% off whatever manga volume I buy. That helps a lot because as you know, manga can get really expensive! If for some reason I can't get the manga that I want, I try Barnes and Noble. I like that bookstore too.
I don't!
I check it out from my local library!!! Manga is too exspensive and I'm poor. The only manga i own is secondhand! |
The Buy 4 Get 1 Free deals are good in combination with coupons and on days when I feel like manga binging. xD
Plus they have the Border's Bucks (Which stinks compared to the Holiday Savings thing they had the first year, may its soul R.I.P.) which adds to the discounts so Border's be working for me. I'm not paying for coupons or discounts, thank you very much Barnes and Nobels. :( |
i read my manga in chinese so i just grab it from any bookstore nearby, usually Popular bookstore, but it recently stopped selling my manga (i only buy one series: Dear Boys Act 2 ^^;; because it's kind of expensive)
Or i grab my manga from Kinokuniya bookstore if my friend's with me.. she has the discount card from there =) i actually never knew Borders sold manga.. wow. It's probably in english, right? (chinese versions are usually half the price of english ones.. so i never buy my manga in english..) |
I don't buy manga unless I want my friends to read it and their too lazy to buy it. I use the power of internet to read my manga. And if I do go to Borders or Barnes and Nobles, I just stay there for hours of a time to read. They also have manga at my school library, but over the last two years, I've read most of the good ones.
I occasionally buy manga at Borders, if I have gift money and they're having a sale, or if I see something rare I need(like Marmalade Boy Dx), but now I buy most of my manga from RightStuf.com, because they have a decent discount all the time on Tokyopop and Shoujo Beat/Shounen Jump titles, which is the bulk of what I read. |
i get mine from barns and noble or walmart XD. truelly i get it from were ever i can
I buy mine at anime conventions, my local book store, and some times i buy them online
I normally get mine in a bookstore at our local mall. If I don't get them there, I normally order them online. |
I buy mine anywhere I can find them. I go to specialty stores, media stores, online, conventions, etc. I once even bought over a hundred dollars worth of manga from a garage sale for 25 cents a piece! They were in really great shape so naturally, I took advantage of it. :D
i get mine at borders as well. sometimes i will buy raw mangas so i go to kinokuniya bookstore for the raws.
i live in DFW and always look for my manga at Half Price Books. they have a varied selection and i can get it all at half price so...why wouldn't i get it there? don't really know of many other places here in the metro to buy manga. there's always Barnes & Noble but they're just way too pricey for my taste. I know, I'm cheap. lol
I used to buy issues like Oh my Goddess at the comic shop. But after they switched owners and moved the store I never felt welcome there so I quit going. I get my manga a now Borders mostly because its cheap with a coupon and way more convienant. Although it pains me because I'd rather give my money to a local shop or buy from my fave online store, Right Stuf. Which I don't order things from that often and being located in my home state I have to pay sales tax anyway :/. But gotta love their sales can't beat 40% off a whole companies line of books ;D
Boarders mostly, and sometimes from a local shop called Anime to Skateboards.
Book stores... right now, Borders. I haven't found anything else here where I live... XD I've only been here about a month or so.
F.Y.E or Barnes and Nobles
I buy all my manga from Amazon, Ebay, and Half-Priced Books. They're the cheapest places I know~ though sometimes it's a pinch cheaper at DeepDiscount.com
It's a combo cause you can't always find what you want if you don't look, so I go to stores, comic shops, conventions, on-line. Borrow from friends. . . I'm a bit like a junkie. . .I can sniff it out when I want to.
I used to get my manga from Borders before the one near mine closed down. Dx These days I just get manga from Waterstones.
I used to buy manga at Borders as well, but it was really expensive there. I started to go to Half-Price Books where a lot of the really good manga's are usually less than a dollar. :)
