I usually end up buying my manga from Borders, but I think I'm just going to start buying them for cheap off of e-bay. Seriously, buying a manga series really robs you... |
I usually get mine from Borders. I manage to stop in whenever they have those buy four get one free deals going on. Occasionally I might buy a few off Amazon, but not often.
I usually don't buy manga, I just go to my library and read them. But if I did, it would be from Barnes and Noble. |
Back in the day when I didn't have to worry about money I would buy a new edition every week. I built up a small collection this way but now that I have responsibilities and such I hardly ever pay full price for my manga. Just one book is pretty expensive at places like borders and barnes n noble. There is a dollar book store near my house where EVERY SINGLE BOOK inside the place is just one dollar each. They often have manga there and I have gotten a few from that location. There is another used book store that sells manga usually for 4 dollars each and I have bought from them as well. Now that I have my paypal information sorted out I plan on taking advantage of animenation's used manga section.

I get mine from either certain bookstores I visit frequently and used bookstores. :boogie:
i usually buy manga at barnesandnoble bookstore or order it online at their website but if i don't have the cash i read it online or i go to the library when i have a ride
I usally get them at borders but when I can I like to get them at cons where they're usally cheaper.
Lately I've been buying most of my manga at Half Price Books.
I usually buy manga online at Amazon. Quite often you can find books that cost £0.01 plus postage
When I get manga it is normally from Borders.. because they have a better selection in my town than the Barnes and Noble. I also get it at a local shop when they have the ones I want. Also read it online. <3
I for the longest time when to Jetpack Comix in town they had a sale on manga, some were damaged from water or similar, they were trying to sell them before moving shop, and they had like... a sale where each volume you got was only $2, so I went there and bought a whole bunch :3
I mainly buy my manga from Craig's List or the used book sale that the library has every year. :D
I also get manga for free from volunteering during book sorting. ;) I do buy from borders or Barnes and Noble when I get a chance though. I use to buy from Books-A-Million when I was in the area. ^_^; |
lately from amazon.....mainly because I haven't bought any in awhile....and I have to find my stuff used cause barnes and nobles doesn't have the series I'm collecting o.0
I usually go online to buy them. It's usually cheaper. But I guess that depends on what web site you buy manga at.
For actual concrete stores I go to Borders (and Barnes and Noble if Borders doesn't have it). But lately I've been buying my manga online since I can pretty much buy twice the amount of manga for the price of one.
I haven't actually bought any in a while, but I usually go to Borders or Barnes and Noble. Even when I don't have enough money, it's nice to just pick out a good looking manga, grab a cup of coffee, and sit down & relax.
Well, not coffee, I have coffee. But you know, one of those coffee shop drinks. You know what I mean. =P |
Don't really buy things online. I get a couple from my friend, but when I've bought manga I get it from Forbidden Planet-I'm lucky to have one by my uni and another back home, though uni one has more manga at 3 for 2!!
I don't buy them but I read them online
I buy manga mostly at the mall in bookstores or actual anime stores.
Rarely do I get to go to a comic store and buy manga. |
I sometimes go to Comic Book stores and buy manga. Anime specialty stores are very hard to find in my area. So I go to wherever I can find manga. ^_^; Even if it means sorting books for the local library system. ;) I help them by getting the mature ones out of their hands, and they help me get manga. :D! After working hard of course. ;)
I tend to buy my Manga at a collectors shop that I go to when I feel like buying more MTG cards....which I have a craving to buy sometime soon. But before they actually renovated the basement, and put nothing but Manga down there, I used to go to Chapters, or other book stores, to get my fix.
I buy them at Chapters and Sakura Media. They have pretty okay prices, I got to say, but sometimes Sakura Media's clearance section has some pretty good manga which I can buy for about three bucks (Canadian).
