I just finished my drawing.. :3
 
I wanted to draw my menewshan avatar, and here's how it came out. I'm not a fabulous artist or anything, but I do my best what I can with my skills :3

It took me quite a few hours to colour it.. my photoshop skillz aren't that great, I'm only learning how to use it (by myself), so don't be too harsh x3

I would like your opinions about the "art", and maybe some pricing help if I were to put up a shop in the art forums :3 <3 (is 200g too much?)

I know, it takes a lot of energy for me too to colour them.. I love drawing but I don't even have a scanner so it's like a pain in the *ss to colour them, and especially doing the lining and all.. D=

    Damnn that would be hard...
    Even I have a scanner,and it's like hell coloring it,that's why I'm waiting for christmas to get a graphic tablet,which is way easier.

    I rather drawing chibies myself.What do ya think about my art?D; (siggy)

yeah, I have a touch pad though, but I'm so clumsy with it D: and you can see that my lines go sometimes somewhere they shouldn't.. like if you look at the bottom of the dress.. >.>

    Lol, your coloring is wonderful,you're so good at it. D;
    I don't get why people who sees those samples says that they like the coloring, I colored them with some Sharpie makers,thats all.

    I've been told "You should really open a shop." by some friends,boyfriend, and now you. xD
    But if I open one I won't be able to bump. -.-'' (A little scared that nobody comes)

heh I guess I just like traditional art more than digital art :3 good job to be done with markers! :D

it could be difficult when bumping is not allowed, yes.. maybe put an add in your signature? like "drawing chibis for 100g" or something like that? :3 not a bad option.

I wonder why you can't see the other one.. O.o well, this link should work?

That is beautiful Sagitar, really beautiful^^ I love how you draw the lips (is it weird to mention that? XD )Your coloring is good, too. But if you want a suggestion from me, i would tell you to use light and shadows bravely on coloring for experiment.^^ This is what i'm trying to do also.

I know, the shadowing is kinda light xD I'm scared to do it because it might ruin the whole piece :o

I know that feeling. ^^ When I use traditional media ,like watercolors, I always think twice before coloring another part. You can't undo your actions.
However when you work with digital programs like photoshop you can always recolor^^ So don't afraid to try.
I suggest you to use layers when coloring. When i don't like a step, just i delete that layer. I hope that helps.

I use layers, but I'm not too familiar with photoshop so .. I guess I have to just practice more x) I'll try to make darker shadows next time :D
