Clinton for President...
GOD I hope not...I would not like to offend anyone here, but I hope she doesn't get elected into office...I would be very upset...I don't like her for so many reasons...she SO left wing that...GAH, I just have so much going through my head right now, I just really don't want her to be elected.
I personally am in favor of Gore, I know he's not running yet, and he probably won't run at all, but he's a good guy. |
Um...I kind of have to agree I really don't like her...good luck with your threadness!!
|
I would love if Gore ran, he would most certainly have my vote! I'm not very into politics, but my parents are. The only real good thing that could come with hillary takeing office is haveing the first female president. But I'm sure there are some very devote hillary followers somewhere on this site, and I don't me to offend XD Anyway Best of luck with your thread ^w^ |
Hillary Clinton Press conference:
Someone asked her a question and when he stated he didn't think she answered it accurately....Her reply was "I will tell you what to think." She is too much of a Socialist and if everything she wants done gets done, we will be paying so much in taxes we will have nothing left to support our families. |
I honestly can't think of anyone I would trust with the country, especially out of those I know are running. None seem to agree with the issues I'm most concerned about. Granted, I'm a mixed person, conservative on somethings and democrat on others but any that seem to agree with most of my leanings tend to be very gung-ho against another.
Clinton I guess would do the least damage than the others that are in the running. She actually supports a lot of things I do as well, again not all. I doubt we'll get a Republican anytime soon so those candidates I won't even go into. I trust Obama the least out of the candidates, I live in Illinois and haven't heard him actually working on anything for his state, only campaigning to get the bigger chair. He comes across power hungry and a liar. Well, there's a whole year left before voting so I'm sure all the ads will just get more frequent and annoying and throw some real dirt. I'll figure out someone by then, still don't understand why on Earth the campaigns started so early. |
I'm not a recist person at all, but I don't like Obama...at all...not because he's black but because of....well I'm sure every one knows...
Many people speculate that he is just trying to get into office because someong 'instructed' him to do so, and when/if he is in office...bad things will happen...I mean he's an okay guy but I don't like him in general. |
No matter the candidate, I'll be voting Democrat in the coming election. That much I know for sure.
I'd personally choose Obama over Clinton any day, but given the situation I feel that she is the better candidate for this election. Give Obama another 8 years to experience Washington and he'll be fantastic. But Clinton has the experience and the know-how right now. We can't wait for our candidate to get situated in office, and I'm afraid that Obama just wouldn't be able to handle the situation yet. |
I don't really think I'm democrat or republican...I think I'm definitely a mix inbetween.
Because I share views from both parties. |
I'll be going democrat this year unless the republican party finds someone amazing. Hillary or Obama, it doesn't matter to me, I really like them both. I actually hope they end up running together. I really hope that Hillary gets it though. I like what she has to say and her views on most things (especially the gas issue!)
I do have a hard time picturing her actually winning though, she doesn't tell people what they want to hear like candidates tend to do. She tells it how it is and I think that most men will not appreciate that, and women with opposing viewpoints will not appreciate it either. |
Well, it's irrelevant since I can't vote for her, but I had a look at her political stances anyway.
And well, she doesn't seem that left-wing to me. Then again, I'm coming from a European perspective. We've got proper socialists here (or at least, we used to). Whereas American political culture is firmly rooted in individualism. Still, her policies seem fairly sensible to me. I like Barack Obama better, on balance, but I'd be rather pleased if the Americans voted her into power. I reckon that's unlikely, though, what with the immaturity regarding female leaders and the general opposition to the idea of tax-and-spend social policy. |
