My First Time with PhotoShop

I love it though (except her hair... it bothers me Dx) I would also love some feedback. How to improv, etc. P.S. I didn't mean for her face to be so.. manly... I started drawing a buy, then I said 'eff it' and started drawing Yuki with the guy's face instead D: Edit;; Changed the picture. Used the blurr tool to try and fix the hair, which was bothering me D: |
I like it, its a good start ^^. The hair is sorta off, and the eye seems a little off center, but other then that. I'd just continue to improve your skills, adding more layers, more sophisticated shadowing, etc.

Yeah... This was my first time shading xDD As well as using purely my tablet on PS. I got tired of tracing. Blah D: Now that I lok at it, I just can't stop pointing out things that I don't like xDDD |
I like the colors your used,
They were very bright and catchy to the eye ^^ I wish I was that talented...I can't use photoshop because I can't download nor buy it, I'm tight on cash, -sniffles- I love the pencils,caps, ink, and such x3 Good luck on furture artsies and projects ^^d |
xD Thank you very much. My friend who's a graphic designer actually helped me with her hair color... I had everything picked out already xD I'm doing comissions as well, for anyone that's interested. But for anything that's colored, I'd only do it for a bribe Dx This took me about 6-7 hours total >< |
It's pretty good for a first timer, espcially the line art. I can't do line art well. The only thing you need to work on is shading, and darkening and highlights of the hair. I'd show you some of my examples of photoshop, but I color other people's work for them.

The good news is the more you use Photoshop, the faster you'll become.
It's a pretty good first try I'd say, I also just got Photoshop a month or two ago and the first picture I ever colored took me about 6-7 hours for a headshot. But see, since then, I can do a full body colored in about 3 hours ^^ So just practice and good will come of it! |
