My poor neglected quest thread really is small, hehe. I spend more time in the exchange though, and well, the forced hiatus I went on for forever most certainly did not help matters any. |

Yes, I was gone from Mene and Zanny both for a very long time as my hard drive had crashed and I didn't have the funds available to get it fixed. When I did finally get my hard drive fixed, real life had me extremely swamped so I still wasn't able to be here much at all. I wasnt' back for very long though when my hard drive crashed again, and I had to wait several months before my daughter finally bought me a new computer the first part of February of this year.
By the time I came back from my first forced hiatus, the fan and pudao had inflated so much, I was able to sell my fan to get most of the CI's/EI's I had missed out on during my absence. Although I've been a member of Mene for two years, technically, I have really spent maybe about 8 - 10 months here, officially. |

Hehe yeah it is, but it sure made for a lot of missed events and such. I love the fan and hated giving it up, but it seemed to me the best investment to make, as I figured I will just quest the fan again later on, but get the other things before they inflate the way the fan and pudao did. Although I miss my fan, I do not regret my decision.

At least you're standing by your decision. :> It's a good thing. ^^;; Because it irritates me personally when people sell something, and then whine about how they miss it so much and they shouldn't have sold it. >.>;; I mean, feeling about selling something is one thing, but whining constantly about it is another. x_x;; I've encountered some of the latter before, so good on you that you're not one of them. =P <3<3

Yeah, that's why I always think it through before I sell something...I don't want any regrets about giving the item up. I mean, it doesn't mean I didn't like the item, but I just figure if it's something I like, I will just quest it back again later on. I do what I feel is the best investment at the time, and only if it's a sacrifice I feel I can live with.

Personally, I don't think I can sell something I've quested for. >.>;; Especially if it was a hard quest. @[email protected];; But then, I haven't exactly gotten to that point in time where I should feel the need to sell anything, so, I honestly can't say for sure how I'm going to react and what I'm going to do when the time comes. 8DD;; |
Actually, I had not quested the fan and pudao, I purchased them the same month they were released. Selling the fan was probably the largest profit I have ever made on an item, lol.

Actually, it was around 500g per set back then, hehe, so figure 250g for the fan. Such a huge difference already.
Pa-pancake, yes, I revamped the entire thread...made all the graphics myself too. I am sooo happy with houw the flowers and the butterfly turned out. :) |

250g for the Oriental Fan?! o_o;; Lolz, if someone sold it for that price now, people would jump like wild rabid dogs and hound the poor seller to sell it to them. 8DD;; Ahh, how inflation works indeed. ^^;; I wonder though, how it was particularly the Pudao/Fan set that skyrocketed. =\ I do remember people talking about it and explaining why though. It's still shocking though, despite the fact that it's reasonable why they did inflate, once you read what those said people had to say about it. xDD;; |

Yeah, to go from 250g for the fan to obtaining almost all the items I missed out on in one sale, that's quite a bit of profit, hehe. I most certainly can't complain about that. Of course, when I go to replace the fan, it's going to cost me an arm and a leg to get it back. |

Well, I guess I should revive my quest thread again, hehe. Hmm it seems tinypic must have cleaned out a bunch of images because a lot of my images don't work anymore and a few seem to have been replaced with pictures I've never even seen before. I've gone ahead and removed all the broken images. Maybe one of these days I'll finally have time to get around to updating my quests, but right now time is very limited. I wish our shop threads would suffice as a quest thread, because finding time to maintain two threads is very difficult atm.
