Do you use a mule?
Alright, I am eventually considering making a mule. I've never really used a mule before and I've been online for like 10 years...XD
So anyways here are some questions: Why did you make your mule? At what point did you decide that yo needed one? Do you actually use it? How did you name it? I think I'm going to have one to store gold for quests and events along with spares of certain items...I have a lot of items and now my inventory just looks a mess...I HATE mess! Not a clue how to name it though. I may use my college nickname... |
I got in the habit of having a mule when I was still active on Gaia... I'd put any doubles or unused items on it.
When I came here, I think I actually got my mule because I'd wanted an extra Carnival Hairpin to give to my friend (she didn't wind up joining, so I kept it, though)... I now just use it for spare CIs and duplicate items. My mule is 'Replica'... It's a username I've used on other sites... I actually prefer it to this (Abis), but didn't want to switch to using that account instead... You can tell it's one in the morning. I'm rambling. |

Well - I was chatting in my "tea shop" thread and addressed a post to "anyone and everyone" - meaning anyone and everyone who was reading the thread. And I thought it was a very funny, almost clever username. So I stole it. XD;
I couldn't resist. And since mules are 'kosher' on Mene, I didn't feel bad. :B I'm using the mule to make role-playing posts in the role-playing subforum. That keeps me feeling as if the mule has a purpose and will keep any role-playing related private messages easily findable. I'll toss any gold she earns to me. :V Since I probably won't clothe her unless, I suppose, someone decided to donate to her for some reason. XD; |
Lmao. Yeah, I've gone through so many different usernames, though.
All of them stem from the same base account on Gaia, but I kept getting bored with each version. xD What was the college nickname? Sometimes nicknames are just plain fun to use. |
I have only created mules when I have trouble getting on to the site with my primary account.
I think it says a lot that I haven't yet had to create one Menewsha. And I hope I don't need to as well! |

i dont use a mule. to tell the truth i dont see the point in them on this site because the amount of gold you get never decreases if you post lots, it all depends on how much you put into the posts.
i think thats one thing that let to gaia being as it is. i did have some mules on gaia but they were never for extra gold or items, in fact they cost more than they made. i made them because i wanted to design new aves but didnt want to change me current pirate ave. |
I don't use a mule.. I don't have ny use for it really.. :3 maybe as a bank account some day.. xD

Not at the moment.. But I will probably make one to help on my give away thread. AT least to be able to give more gold or buy more clothes to people.

I've have created mules before and I do use them. I mostly use the to store gold to save for quests/events and to store my charity inventory on so I can keep it separate from my own inventory.
I usually use a nickname, an old username or something like that to name my mule. |
I don't really see the point in a mule, at least for me. I'm not here to hoard items, or to collect an extreme amount.
I'm glad that Mene limits it to one mule per person, though... Adds a certain level of fairness to it all. |

My mule's name is Creidin, and he's Temmon's, erm... counterpart? xD He's a pretty little naked boy right now. ~.^ Oh. And my mule is handy for when I have to check out male items and I don't feel like switching Temmy to female for whatever reason. ^^ |
I only have mules on Neopets (which I don't really go on anymore) and on Gaia.
On neopets I had a mule because I had forgotten the password on my first account, so I made a new one. When I remembered my password I just kept the second one to store some of my items. On Gaia I have 2 mules. The first mule I got because I wanted to play around with the male items so I got a male mule. Plus I wanted to use it for storing stuff and collecting trash. While I was doing that I discovered that it didn't like my one email address. The second mule I got to see if I could get that email to work. I use it for collecting ink and making tattoos. I like to use my mule for when I just don't feel like being regonized or during events to get some extra items. Here I don't have a mule, and I probably won't get one. |
I don't use a mule here.
The only reason I would consider creating one is the different sets of commons one gets with a male/ female avatar. But since I have no items and little gold, a mule would be sort of pointless... |
I really just use mine right now for holding my spare items.

I have a mule on here, which I use for the same reason most people do, storage. I salted away gold on that account since August, so I had a stash of spending money for this event.
Plus it's very helpful from a staff point of view, for example, when we set up event forums and so on, I can use it to make sure that people can't see into them before it's time 8) I have 10 accounts on Gaia, but I don't really class any of them as mules, as they all have their own themes and personalities, but they're all sorely neglected now. |
I have a mule here. I use her to trade items back and forth to organize my inventory. I do wish there was some way to do that without my mule, but maybe someday.
I also use my mule to hold a name. I don't post with her though, I don't find any point in that. |

I do like my mule -- he's my storage account for all my spare stuff. And I also wanted the Atlantis coat, so I bought it for him when I got the money. XD If only it was unisex. XD I'm getting him out and about a bit today, because he hardly ever sees action. I figure I should at least let him get his own set of Halloween items. :D |
I have a mule. I made it originally so I could have one male and one female character as I like to balance it out when I'm allowed to xD
I just keep my main account (this one) logged in on Firefox and have my Mule logged in on IE. I barely ever use IE though, as it's evil, so I don't tend to use my mule much at all really. I do put any extra contribution items over on my mule though, I keep one of everything on here, but any more and I can't remember what's mine for keeping and what's mine for trading. Unfortunately due to us not being allowed to trade from our mules here, I have to send things over to myself before I sell :roll: |
My friend Yusaku has officially left mene, so i'm essentially taking over his account as my mule...but i don't really use mules, so i don't know how much use it will be. I like this toon
