Whoever said you get used to braces is a complete lie. I have had them over a year now and want to rip them out. -_- I have to go back to the orthodonist ATLEAST once between each visit to adjust them. xD My teeth shift quickly.
Also, If you have baby teeth and no permanent teeth to back them up (I had the case) the roots of them curl up in your gum. xD That is why they had to but 2 of my teeth in half to get them out. It felt weird. xD But yeah, you get used to your missing teeth after a while. xD but it feels kind of gross until it complete heals. Keep switching from ice packs to warms packs to keep your cheeks from swelling bad! Atleast for the first day. xD o.o;; and I think my sister is about to set our kitchen on fire. |

For me, braces were really natural to me. Like, I couldn't really feel them after a week. x________x;;; Well, I guess my teeth don't shift around as much? o_______o;;; That's weird. That must've felt really strange. |
Lol, yeah. xD My appoints until this last one was every 4 weeks, unless I went in and he had to work on them then. xD Usually my teeth begin to ache a couple of days to a week before my appointment. xD I will tell him next time that how many ever weeks he has before my next appointment, remove one. Speaking of which, my teeth are hurting now. xD Back to soft foods again!
This last one was 7 weeks(upcoming thursday). xD I have been back 3 times already, just to get the length of the wires shortened because they were poking my gums, not very pleasant. xD And believe me, it is hard to get wax back there and make it stay comfortably. xD Lol, where 2 of them were, it was hard to avoid it too. xD So yeah, really strange. I am happy my teeth finally shifted to completely cover those two gaps. xD OH!!! Which reminds me. Fox, popsicles and ice based treats will be your best friend. And I would stay away from solid foods for a while. xD I am not sure how much different different having teeth surgically removed from pulled is (I had both, all done same day. Being drugged up that day was pleasant, even if I never lost conciousness. xD), but either way, having 4 teeth pulled has to be hell. If you want solid food, such as steak, chicken, etc, I suggested cutting it up into small, swallowable pieces. xD That is what I did. xD It takes a while to finish your meal, but whatever. xD Chewing wasn't exactly an option for me when I decided that I what rough it out without the painkillers. |

Alot better thanks.I woke up this morning and my mouth wasn't even hurting.I'm so happy.I decided to not take meh pain killers since I was to lazy to eat and to tough it out.xD
