Yes, life issues. xD
They suck like usual. |
Wow I get up for a little bit so hubby can figure out the neighborhood kid's Action Replay, and I miss a whole slew of postings!
I have depression too Sil, so if you need someone to talk to I'm here. I have kinda what Steel does, where I can sleep for days...but at the same time when I NEED to sleep, I toss and turn and seriously struggle. Everything in life seems to come at me at once and my brain just can't shut up and switch off. :P Edit: Imp - I'm here to listen too, hun. :( |
Well it's a long story.
The condensed version is pretty much I think I've fallen out of love. After 3.5 years. |
Awww why's that hun? Anything happen between you, or is this just you coming to a realization that you're no longer happy?
|
I haven't been happy for the past year. xD;
I think I've just realized I'm not gonna feel the same again. I feel bad though 'cause he's been really nice for a while, but it's not changing my feelings. =[ |
Well I'm just wondering if it's because things slowed down? I dunno...usually that excitement dies out after the first 16-24months of a relationship and you start getting down to the nitty gritty.
Sometimes I feel like things have really mellowed out in our relationship, but a lot has been going on financially, with our jobs and such, that it's no wonder we aren't as happy as usual. I mean we're still happy with ourselves, but the whole dynamic of the relationship is just different...for example since we are both at home a lot, he doesn't get the chance to miss me, therefore he isn't as lovey dovey with me. |
Oh no Poptart. That doesn't sound good. :(
You have to trust your gut regardless, but I hope you've just reached a patch that can be driven over. Anything I can do to help? |
He's changed, everyone noticed it.
Don't worry Cheese, I'll be fine. :3 I gotta go. Back in a little while. |
Mmm... change isn't always good, either. Le sigh. I'm sorry Poptart. :( What a bummer. If you need to vent, don't hesitate to PM me!
See you soon. |
Alrighty, thanks.
I'll prolly try to talk tonight. Right now Chris is here. |
I should be around for a lil' bit. Depends on what my hubby wants. I haven't been able to talk to him today since he worked late and I'm attempting to get my nephew to bed.
Speaking of: Quote:

Holy cow. Although, he is at that age where boys start growing like crazy. So, of course, they eat like locusts and still lose weight.
*is totally jealous* |
Tristan is like that with fruit...He could eat it all day. Any kinds...When it comes to sitting him down for dinner, especially if it isn't something he loves, he sits and picks and waffles. Drives us nuts. :P
|
My cousin was at my parents' house for my sister's graduation and Christmas. He's twelve. Oh my lordy, the kid will eat every possible piece of candy, ice cream, fruit, or easy thing in sight. He loves egg sandwiches, too. But meatloaf? Nope. Hates it. Weirdo.
And, of course, he's skinny as a dang rail. |
My step-daughter hates Chilli, no matter who cooks it. She'll eat it, but she will sit and pick at it. She also picks her pickles off her burgers and pepperoni off her pizza. I don't know why...she LIKES pepperoni, or she did until recently. Just weird phases kids go through I guess.
|
My nephew eats most anything, even if he might not want it. I don't think he was a big fan of the rice I made the other night. I gotta figure out more side dishes. He gobbled the potatoes up tonight (first thing gone from his plate) but he's used to side dishes like Rice-a-Roni and cheddar noodles.
Stuff I LOVE, but can't have due to the allergies. :XD I need to figure out safe alternatives for tasty noodle-type dishes. |
My mom used to make what we called "buttery meat" (basically just meat, fast fried with butter (or oil) in a pan), and serve it over noodles. It was freaking delicious.
|
The only toughie there is that when I make GF noodles, they need to be rinsed with cold water due to the starch. It helps the pasta keep a "real" texture.
So pasta always had to be boiled, rinsed, reheated. It's easy to do when there's a sauce, but otherwise it turns gummy. |
I hate the cold water rinsing thing, because I like putting my pasta on a plate and putting sauce over it. :(
|
I do, too. Dx
|
Oh boy husband is 'foraging' in the kitchen...good luck there. :P
|
We have tons of fruits and vegetables, but nothing is really prepared and ready to eat that's savory. :XD I dunno if it's the pregnancy thing or not but I've not wanted the same meal twice. I get the "hrrblgh" feeling.
Like soup, in theory, sounds GREAT! But when I envision the taste of the types I make, forget about it. Maybe I'll just try and make a vegetable soup. :P |
Hrmm. We usually rinse the noodles with cold water, anyway. The meat is generally hot enough to rewarm them, but I've never cooked with a butter substitute (besides Natural Balance, which doesn't really count as it's still dairy), so I don't really know.
|
Usually we have steak with noodles, so... :XD Too much meat in one go for us.
I'm thinking like more saucy-type things, but my brain is running on empty. There's no substitute for real cheese. I looove cheesy noodles. I can't wait for 3 more weeks to pass. I'm working through the dairy already in my system. I've not had a drop since finding out about the baby, nor will I again, but it still has to work through. I've had allergic reactions in my hands now for days. >/ Today's moved from my right palm up to my middle finger. Grr. |
Man that sucks. Poor thing. You have be extra careful now, too, because of the baby. *huggles*
Luckily, it's worth it. Here's a list of some dairy free sauces you might can try: Dairy free sauce recipes |
