Just got home from work. Man did it get crazy at the end. I think I keep doing quotations Cami, because I totally can't think of him as a Charles. His name is so much less distinguished sounding. I so wanted to hang out tonight now that the kids are winding down. Step daughter is in bed, and well step son is up, but not for long.

I'm in Boston, on my couch, mocking my roommate for telling her malefriend of two months that her astrologist said she'd marry him.

Oh jeez...I wouldn't of told him that!!

Guys are known commitment-a-phobes! >_> That and astrology is a load of crap. It can be 'fun' but I wouldn't take it with more than a grain of salt.

For a start I'm Aries, and my husband is Taurus...we're really not the best of matches astrology wise. :P

I guess I was lucky when it came to Aaron, as we spent our first days telling stories of our past, both of us kinda feeling down and admitting to each other the difficulties of depression. (Steel - having someone who has experienced it can really help, at the same time it's easy for one to bring the other down with them...kinda a double edged sword at times, but in our case it works really well)

*huggles steel* Me too! I was so pooped from swimming and going over to MILs for dinner that I had to crash.

I think I probably would have just slept through to the morning if Fizz hadn't woken me up so she could go pee. (So glad she did, though, because she can't get off the bed by herself)

I think she'll work it out with him. They get along really well. But they've been taking it really slow (after two months, they're still not calling themselves boyfriend/girlfriend).

@Cami: Holy heck, that's slow! And that's a weird as heck comment to throw in with a relationship moving that slow. Heh. I'm sure he'll be able to roll with it, though.

She's debating about sending him an email. We're trying to convince her out of her current draft, which sounds a little bit like, "I'm really sorry I told you about the fact that we were going to get married. I should have let you find out in your own time."

Yeeeaaah, please don't let her send that. It will make it so, so much worse. Haha.

I think she should just down play it like say isn't that just strange or something. Say that she only has it done for shits and giggles.

But yah she'll do more damage if she words it that way. He's obviously been kinda creeped off by the revelation, and if he won't even call her his girlfriend it'll probably take a hell of a long time before he'll get use to calling anyone his wife.

I suggested something simple like, "Despite an awkward moment, I still had a great time tonight."
