I've had experience with a baby who liked to cuddle.
I'd hold him in my arms while sitting on the couch and gently rock him until he'd falls asleep. Thing is though, I was always nervous that if I tried to stand up and put him in his crib he'd wake up. So i'd usually be stuck in the same position for a couple of hours till he woke up. :P |
Ah, they sometimes wake and sometimes don't. I always got the evil eye from my nephew. He'd wake up and glare at me with that, "I see what you did there!" expression. Sometimes he'd go to sleep on his own and other times he'd whine until I took him back downstairs.
You win some, you lose some. :XD I'm not sure what we're going to do with this one. I figure if she falls asleep in her swing or bouncy seat, she can nap there. Otherwise we'll alternate between crib and bassinet. I want her to get a feeling that she can sleep anywhere. I don't want her to associate her room as "that one place they put me when I'm meant to not have fun". |
