Maybe I should reword it....My desire to have kids doesn't outweigh other things. Life isn't THAT bad...Like I told Aaron, I don't necessarily want kids right NOW with the circumstances. Just kinda bummed it isn't something that is available later. (In hopes our financial situation gets better.)

I wouldn't trade Terra for anything in the world, and I still stop and think about the lack of freedom there is. I think the reason I don't mind it is that this isn't forever. I am sucking up and basking in all these experiences because some day, before I'm ready for it, she'll be out of the house and on her own. |
Yep and she'll be having kids of her own, too, hopefully. :) And the way I look at it eventually my stepkids will have babies and I'm hoping (oh so hoping) that I will be able to do some babysitting for them and enjoy some of the baby moments with them. :3

@Izumi, I'm oddly not having feelings either way if Terra has kids. If she ends up wanting a handful, great. But if she wants to be career-focused that's okay too. If she wants both, super. :XD

I'm off from work tonight, and I'm soaking it up. I think the only thing I really HAVE to do is to make something for dinner and possibly a load of dishes. I'm not feeling uber motivated myself.

Izumi, I'm now entering class Monday through Thursday 4-7pm. It's going to be my first time really away from the baby. I'm already dreading it. Though Cole said he'll plan on bringing her sometimes. I guess it depends on how focused my group is this semester. Last semester we were awful. :lol: |

Well it will be a good stepping stone for you then to get use to the baby not being around all the time. I'm sure it'll feel weird as I know how it feels like to get into a routine and have to totally turn it on it's head. That kinda happens a bit lately. :P
I know that if I were to ever have kids I would have to be a stay at home mom. Something that I know will never have the chance to do as both of our incomes are needed to keep our standard of living the way it is. I mean we don't have anything real fancy but it is SO nice to have money when you need it and to not always be scraping the barrel. I hate those weeks. :/ |

Then again, the prices for the new CIs have been rather... expensive on the MP. @[email protected] I'm not too sure why they suddenly went up, because it's not like the items are super duper wanted (like last months items) or I think the auctioneer would have items to sell. Buuut these month items are very wanted, in my opinion. People here loooove Fox and Pirate based items, so it's only natural for those to go up. I just don't know why last months items were so expensive. xD |

That would be good logic... if I wanted to get used to not being around the baby all the time. I don't. At all. :P @Krissy I haven't gotten huge chunks because of the price hike. The other items deflated while the new ones inflated. It's great for the site though. :yes: It would encourage people to donate more, especially if they're new and want to quest. |
It's not going to be all the time though. O_o Just during class, and even then it's only a couple hours each day. It's a lot better than having to go back to work full time and having to spend 8 hours a day away from her. At least I would think so. ^_^;;

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a cash shop, either. I mean, I was surprised that they gave a different color of the mermaid stuff and wondered why they didn't pick a different item. Buuut once CK explained it a bit more, it made sense. And plus, I really did love the recolor. Black and white are my main colors. xD
I try! I mean, at the very least it's 5 dollars. I'd rather give five dollars than try to make the gold to get the item. So I can buy commons instead! :squee: |
