I'm good, bit tired. First day volunteering at one of the senior homes I applied to volunteer at. Was really fun, but tiring. Especially since, a) I walked there and that tired my legs out quite a bit, and b) I haven't really done much else for the previous five/six months so doing something again really tired me out both mentally and physically. @[email protected];;

But hopefully it'll be less tiring as time goes by and I get back to a regular basis of doing stuff daily. :3

Volunteering at a senior home? I think that's great! Hopefully as the weeks go by you'll strengthen enough that it won't cause as much fatigue. I'm curious how mentally burned out I'll be come practicum and internship. :P

Mmm, it has been so far! :3 I'm hoping after many months, I won't get bored of it and if I don't, then I know it'll definitely be something I can pursue career-wise. And a great field it is, especially with how it'll just continue to be a growing one! ; )

Oh, nice. When do you start your practicum and internship? And I'm sure you'll find a way to have the energy necessary, after all your little one will still take up quite a bit of it. ; ) :lol:

That's what I'm worried about. I'm already drained just caring for her. I don't think I have anything worthwhile left in me afterward. :gonk: Luckily I don't begin until next September, and she'll be 2 come then. Hopefully with that will come more independence.

My husband begins working in a nursing home for his nursing clinicals in November (I think). I agree that it's a growing field!
