Hey Chi. Don't know if you're still around, but got more RL drama that's got Aaron all wigged out. I'm needing someone with a rational head to talk to as he's making it sound like it's some pretty serious stuff. :/
Just once again enforces we need to find ourselves some land sometime soon so we can get out of this renting land bs. |

i think you should because a positive place is a safe place to vent. some people lurk more than post and with your way of endearing people you will lure them out of the shadows. you can always ping me to help keep the thread active. <3 |

no i pretty much see you always being kind, sympathetic and compasionate. those are all qualities that endear you to others and vice versa. i know you do speak your mind too, which is very helpful as well. i still think you should make your thread. |

I've been fortunate to only be away from her two evenings a week, 3:30pm - 7:00pm. Those are class times. Beyond that, she's with me. I've been able to cherish every moment. All the same, time is flying. It doesn't matter how aware I am that she'll be graduated in what feels like moments, I can't slow time down. ;(

You still around now Chi? Sorry I got kinda caught up in a few things then went over to the neighbor's house for a good 3 hours and chatted. She's one of the elderly in the park and a real nice gal. Wow did we really go through a lot of stuff about my past and my husband's past and what not and she was telling me all sorts of stories too.
---------- I didn't mean to be gone quite that long but it tends to happen whenever we get talking. She lives by herself and I think is fairly lonely, so it feels good though to spend time with her. |

Anyways I'll just fill you in right now on what my issue is. Our park manager is changing at the first of this month....which I just found out in a nice little packet of information that the owner sent to us in the mail. She's now wanting us to gather a bunch of information to give the new manager and most of it's warranted and OK but I'm worried because now they're not letting people in on land contracts. Aaron is worried they are going to bully us into moving as we've got another year or two to go on ours, not only that but for our pets...We're just super paranoid right now as the owner is a real bitch. The old park manager was really nice and friendly and we got along fine with him and his family...this other guy we don't know how close he is to the owner and how much of a problem he's going to be.
Couple that with the fact one of the nosiest neighbors in the park has clear view of my trailer now that my neighbor moved out...Yah I'm worried. This same person picked on my friend and her husband until the day they moved out and they really made their life hell. I think it's all because my friend is young and around my age with a family and they want this place to be an elderly community. Aaron's fixed though, and I can provide paperwork...We have kids but it's a complicated situation but we're real orderly and down to earth. We are on really good terms with the neighbors on our street but worried with this new change some asshole (mainly the nosy neighbor and his wife) might try to stir some trouble. ---------- Quote:

Wow. How much extra have you had to pay so that the place is truly yours? I would question the legalities there. If the new owner can make you move, perhaps there would be a back payment or something?? Don't get me wrong, it sucks, and it sucks a lot. I'm just thinking that maybe it can't be a clear cut case of, "No, I'm the owner now, and now you move!" It would be harder if there were no contracts, but if things get dicey, talk to your prior landlord and see if they can give you a written statement about your agreement if there isn't already a prior contract. You said they've always been nice, so I imagine they would be okay with it. In the meantime, Google up your state's tenants rights regarding rent-to-own type things. I'm thinking being prompt is probably your best bet. Be friendly of course, and write or call the new place saying you're a little worried and just want some reassurance. Then see where it goes. Perhaps they already have you written in for finishing payments/owning the land as part of the trade over. That's my hope, anyway. Seems rotten of the old landlord not to secure his/her tenants, if the trade over was by choice. @Comp Mistress of the exchange? That's a new one... It's entirely a case of being a member since June 2007 and having donated. ;) Anyway, yep, I have a Makin' Faces - 9.8k I'd prefer pure as the event is near. :3 Who knows on the Head. I hope some will be given at the event or something and one user wants all of these CIs. It'd help us both out! |

Ah, you were one of the last people to look at my profile while I was gone. So I thought maybe it was. Anyway, it wasn't on mene. It was a Diclonious roleplay. Her character had the pink pigtails and she went by Chi-chan. But I assume there are a lot of Chi's out there. Thanks anyway. *waves*
