Haha, nope! XD I'm cosplaying Sailor Chibi Moon from Sailor Moon.
I do remember you though. Are you sticking around? :3 |
I feel like it would be amusing to get back into the art world or roleplaying or something. I'm a hermit that reads 3 books a week. Roleplaying makes me want to write sometimes. Art or writing, I'm too much of a perfectionist. Mene kind of goes with that, but it's a huuuge time investment, so maybe I could just get back into doing art. >_<; I don't know.
|
Maybe you could take commissions on Mene while you decide? It would get you some of the missing items.
RP is a huge time investment. I miss it. Since having my daughter I haven't had time for it. I'd love to just sit down and do it for a few hours. Eventually I'll get that part of free time back. :P |
She is adorable. You hit a difficult time with the terrible twos, but once you get to around four and older, they are awesome to have around. My daughter is almost seven now... Oh my god. O_O; It's still freaky.
Commissions would be good. I find it entirely difficult to come up with what to draw. >_< I can't focus on making things awesome if I'm trying to figure out what to draw also. |
Awww, thank you! She's already in that phase of pushing buttons and testing limits. I'm pretty sure she's saying "don't", too. It's gonna be fun. She'll be 14 months tomorrow. The time is flying very fast... and I know in a blink she'll be 7, too!
Well, if you want to do a couple test commissions I have some bland (aesthetically speaking) RP characters. They're pretty basic Gaia avatars. It might help you work through the art block, and it's been a while since I had commissions. If so, what items are you missing? Did you get rid of everything but your King's Crown and Yumeh Ears and Tail? |
Chi: Are you still looking for Nov CIs?
|
Haha, I came to offer November CIs as well. :XD I can buy any combination of 4 CIs. I'm interested in Makin' Faces and Evil Overlord. :ninja:
|
Computosaurus: I love your avatar ♥
lol, I'm just poking around looking for people who are looking xD |
Aww, thank you! Your avatar is so magical and cool. I LOVE the Kappa CI so much, it's so cute.
|
No prob :'3 I adore the eyes + mouth + blood AND the sweet hat!!
Thanks!! I'm thinking of trying to make a new avatar using the voodoo CI~ I haven't explored the Kappa yet xD |
@ Chi - Great cosplay! I am not a sailor moon fan, but I could tell right away what you were. :) Very good use of those gems.
Btw, your daughter is so adorable. I love her little outfit! Too cute. |
Thank you Suona, both for the avatar compliment but also the baby comment! ^_^ <3
As for Novembers, yep! I'm buying. Trading. So anyone can feel free to let me know what they want for their sets and such. |
You're very welcome. ^^ She looks like a total sweety. Thats a nice picture.
Makes me miss my neice, too. She's around the same age. :) Your daughter has a much better head of hair, though. lol My neice's hair is rather sparce. |
Chi: I'm doing the same as last month :'3 4k per set, 2k per item.
Or trade if you really want, but I'm more interested in pure. |
@Suona
When I was looking at the baby's 3D ultrasound pictures while pregnant, I questioned whether or not she'd have hair. It looked like a nice shadow was on her head. When she popped out I couldn't believe how much hair she had! @[email protected] I need to update her picture soon. It's getting curly. How often do you get to see your niece? :3 @Aya I'll let you know. ^^ I'm hoping to trade, as I want to save my pure for the event. I'll let you know if my other trades fall through! |
Haha. I didn't know that the hair showed up on the ultrasound. Thats nifty. My sister-in-law has rather thin hair, so I reckon it was to be expected that she wouldn't have very much.
My neices hair gets curly in the back. Its so cute. But in her lifespan, I have only seen her twice in person. :( Two visits, that is. When she was 3 months we visited them in Nebraska for several days, and then on her first birthday they came and visited us in California for several days. I wish they lived close to us. :'( They're having a son in a few weeks, too. |
Chi: How many November 2011 CIs would be a fair trade for a Makin' Faces and an Evil Overlord? :ninja: 3 sets? What do you think?
|
@Suona
The distance must make it quite hard. :( Are you guys going to be able to visit in the near future to see the latest upcoming addition? I'd like another baby, but I don't think we could balance it. One of us would have to give up work, and we're both working too hard to get through school to do that. Not sure just yet! If money were better, we'd be more apt to consider it more heavily. At one point we were leaning towards trying so I'd give birth a month or so after graduating (2013), but, we both got cold feet. :XD @Computo 3 sets works for me! Can you send a trade to "Chi's Mule" for me? |
Yay, thank you! Sending trade now!
|
There you go! Thank you. :)
|
Woohoo! Now to go cause some damage with this giant new weapon!
|
Now to add to my frustrations I find out just a half hour ago that Aaron is laid off until the 1st of the month next year...and even then there hasn't been any promises he has a job when it does roll around.
I'm going to have to be dealing with this whole park issue, the holiday season (being already pretty broke AND my brother not being there), and now Aaron not working. I'm going to be pushing for him to start looking for a new job as I'm really tired of this layoff crap. Anyways, trying to keep it in perspective that at least *I'M* still employed.... |
Yeah, I think a new job is probably a good idea. At least you are still employed, definitely!
|
Yep.
Oh and he's working 2 more weeks first, as they need someone trained on the machines he is to come in and work. Perhaps they will ask him to work more during the furlough...we'll see. In the meantime I'm trying to push him to look for other work, in case the bottom really does drop out. It's ironic though as he said to me JUST the night before (before he knew of the situation) that things were looking up and that this new build they've been testing made a more efficient solar panel. He seemed hopeful....Now I'm like I'd get out while the getting is good. More news now too (and so far you're the only person I've told) is my mom found a lump in her breast. She went to her GP who has checked it out and referring her for a mammogram. My mom has been doing some research since then though, taking in consideration the size, location and her age and figures even if it is cancerous it hasn't yet spread to her lymphatic system and they have procedures where they can inject through the nipple the chemotherapy or medication right to the lump, instead of through the blood stream. She also said even IF they have to surgically remove it that it won't be a case of a mastectomy, but instead just a removal of the lump and maybe any effected tissue. She also told me it's a lump she's noticed within the past week, and she's been checking on a very regular basis, and well she's just trying to prepare herself for the worst. The ONLY reason she told me about it to begin with is she may need my help getting her caught up with training (as she's doing what I do now, and going through training)...She hasn't even mentioned it to my dad, and says she won't unless the mammogram and/or ultra sound picks up something. She doesn't want him worrying anymore than she has to. This is all onto of our park issue, Aaron's kidney stones, and just going through the holiday season without my brother. *sighs* If it rains, it pours...and life hasn't been 'too bad' for awhile, so I guess it was time for something interesting to happen. Thanks Chi for listening to me, though...My friends on facebook know about Aaron getting laid off, some know about Aaron's stones I believe, and everyone who knows me knows about my brother...but that's it. I haven't said anything to anyone else about park issues or my mom. ---------- Oh and my mom has had skin cancer 3 times, so this whole cancer scare thing has been something I've gone through...numerous times. Also had cancer scares with other family members, and had one die of pancreatic cancer. It's tough, and it'll suck if it does become something major...seeing it's my mom...but I've got my game face on, and I've lost my brother...and I'm still holding on quite nicely. Life just seems to me to be one gigantic soap opera though. |
i feel so rude reading your post, Izumi. please forgive me. i do have to say i will keep you and your family in my prayers. you seem like such a sweet person it hurts to see so much on your shoulders. anyway, i wanted you to know someone else, besides our sweet Chi, is pulling for you and yours. |
