♥ Izumi.
'nuff said.

hope you are having a great weekend, Chi.

Chi 11-19-2011 02:25 AM

I'm very sorry to hear that Izumi. :/

Gotta go with what your mother wants. Maybe she wanted to scale the company back as a means of processing what's going on. I immediately shy away from attention when things get bad; I hate the spotlight with a passion.

Be there for her when you can, when she is receptive. That's all you can do. Make sure to take care of YOU during this, too.

Hummy, I'm okay. Really glad to be moved. Got our water test back for the old place (it's not fully completed yet) that said it's medium-high for Coliform. Nice to know I've been consuming that for eight months. We're waiting to hear back from the pediatrician to see if the baby needs to be tested. I now know that since my stomachaches have stopped in the past week, I had issues with the water, so I'll be going to the doctor as well. Fun fun.

Definitely seeking a lawyer on this one. We paid rent in advance, and we haven't technically broken the lease yet. We're not living there, but we've not passed the keys in. Tomorrow we clean the place up completely and "close up" for good. I have a letter drafted to the landlords already, but I'm waiting to hear back from the lawyer to make sure I'm following proper protocol and such.

We'll be asking for December and January back, and our security deposit. We can legally break lease due to the unfit drinking water. I am just angry right now over their overall lack of consideration for everything, and the thought of their negligence potentially causing harm to my baby is beyond unforgivable. At this point I am unsure of seeking any further collections. I don't know what I'm entitled to, nor do I know what I want to do.

If we're sick, a battle is on regardless. If we're fine, I think we'll get our entitled rent back, cut ties, and find peace with it.

So. Yes. This move has been a VERY POSITIVE thing.

And how might you be?

hummy 11-19-2011 02:31 AM

oh my God, Chi!
i am so glad y'all waited to have another baby now.
i would be in tears if you had been consuming the contaminated water!
as it is i am so upset the baby has consumed it for eight months!!!!!
i hope y'all have very low levels and nothing has been high enough for permenant damage to any of you.
it has deffinately been a blessing for y'all to move into your parents old house.
i am so glad your stomachaches have subsided.
please let us know you and your family are okay as soon as you know you are all healthy.

pfft, my cold seems so small now.
i actually feel much better, thank you for asking.

check your inventofry for some halloween tee-shirts from CK.
they are for your thread being over two hundred posts!
woohoo, Chi!

Chi 11-19-2011 03:12 AM

Unfortunately it's medium-high Coliform, and we haven't heard back on the rest of the testing. They just contacted us ASAP to stop drinking it until the well has been disinfected. Grr. I'm assuming it didn't transfer to my breast milk, but I'll confirm that with the pediatrician soon.

Glad you're feeling better. <3

hummy 11-19-2011 03:45 AM

i hope so too.
that's scary stuff.

thank you, but a sillie cold is nothing compaired to what y'all are going through.
you should get back all your unused rent and security deposit.

Izumi 11-19-2011 04:30 AM

Thanks guys for your support. :)

It is what it is...Now mom's like I should loose weight now to lessen my chances of getting it when I asked if it was hereditary. It isn't technically 'breast cancer', but a rarer form...She sent me an email with more info. I think I'm going to take some process all of it then read it.

hummy 11-19-2011 05:28 AM

my mom forwarded me information too.
then she sent me a letter from the doctor to get a MRI and MRA.
because aneuyrsms are hereditary as well.
i called her up and said, 'thank you, mom?'
wow, it was a shock.

Chi 11-19-2011 12:51 PM

I'm at risk for aneurysm, too. Cancer as well, really.

Definitely do what you can, Izumi. Everything is worth a shot if it protects yourself in the long run.

hummy 11-19-2011 07:18 PM

when i had my MRI and MRA they found a 'mass' at the back of my head.
*shivers*
i was told no aneurysms, but to keep an eye on the mass.
so, yay for that little surprise.

Chi 11-19-2011 10:07 PM

That definitely sounds unpleasant. Do you get chronic headaches at all because of it??

hummy 11-19-2011 10:11 PM

i was having headaches but i think it was more stress and old prescription that was causing them.
every once in awhile i have headaches that radiat from that area but i think they are just headaches.
i try not to think of it and hope nothing comes from it.

Chi 11-20-2011 12:01 AM

Just get routine checkups!

hummy 11-20-2011 12:46 AM

i do need to do another MRI.
bleh.

Izumi 11-20-2011 05:02 AM

Ohhh medication...thank you sooo much for reminding me! *runs off to take hers*

Chi 11-20-2011 05:52 PM

I hate MRIs, but they are a necessary uncomfortable experience. Get it done, hummy. It's better to be safe and err on the side of caution.

*rolls on Izumi* 8D

Siri 11-20-2011 05:54 PM

MRIs aren't uncomfortable... are we getting the same kind? Lol, don't you just lay down for a half hour or so while they scan you and play soothing music (that gets drowned out by the weird noises anyway)?

Izumi 11-20-2011 05:58 PM

O.o *gets squisheld by Chi*

Mmm I might need to find out what's been ripping me up...in pain again for the second day in a row. Just a dull achy uncomfortable pain.

I'm looking forward to thanksgiving though. I wonder how Sazh, my new dog, will like it on the farm. :)

Siri 11-20-2011 06:00 PM

Izumi, if you're in pain and have insurance, then go see a doctor...

Chi 11-20-2011 06:01 PM

@Siri
They're highly uncomfortable if you're claustrophobic.

@Izumi
My stomach ripping pain ceased after moving. Whoddathunk drinking contaminated water would have been problematic? D:< *kicks old landlords* Get to a doctor if you can.

the confinement upsets me and my stomach starts to ache.
then the dye they put in you worries me too.
i am not sure if i am just worrying too much.
between what will be seen and how much the darn things cost.....
i will probably schedule them for the new year.

yes, if you have insurance, please go to the doctor and get a check-up.
hope you feel better soon.

Siri 11-21-2011 01:35 AM

Oh, I've never had a contrast mri... :(
Sorry! You're right, that doesn't sound too comfortable.

Hatake Ayumi 11-21-2011 04:27 AM

:gonk:
So many health issues!

Glad to hear that you're now drinking clean water and no longer have stomach pains Chi; I hope everything ends well though!

Sorry to hear about your mother Izu, I hope everything goes well and that you also do not contract the cancer.

Sad to hear about the MRIs and the mass and the headaches Hummy! Hope it is benign!!!

Much love and best wishes to you all!

hummy 11-21-2011 04:42 AM

thanks everyone.
it's just more scary than anything else.
i go from zero to painc quicker than any sports car out there.

hope you are doing well too, Hataki.

Hatake Ayumi 11-21-2011 04:43 AM

I think I'm doing well, thanks Hummy! Just got college goin' on. And on. And on.

Yah...I can...but I don't think they will give me an easy solution, or a solution at all. I'd go this week, but I'm super busy plus low on money at the moment. Right now I've been trying to drink as much fluids as I can stand and ate a pot of plain boiled rice. Afterward I felt queasy...I still feel hungry, but I don't dare eat anything as I just feel sick to the stomach, with that pain in my lower left gut. Sucks. :>

I just am being stubborn mostly as I hate going to the doctor...to get the run around and told that it's something like not enough fiber (which is bs since I've been eating more whole grained foods) or stress. It just isn't a good enough diagnosis, nor do I want to pay out my ass for them to refer me to a specialist, and then wait a month to see someone. I'd go to the ER if I thought it was bad enough, but I know full well they will send me home unless I'm dying.

----------

Or better yet they'll tell me I have a bug, or flu...which this doesn't feel like either.
