I used to be very flexible. I would be able to go into the splits within seconds and i was even able to wrap my legs around the back of my head...unfortunately when I went to secondsry school I grew and my muscles couldn't flex like they used to.
Dispite that...i have never been able to touch my toes o.0 |
I never had a problem with flexibility, but I've been a gymnast and dancer for as long as I can remember, but I fail at sports I had to do for PE and running.

I can JUST touch my toes . D: I`m so inflexible ... T~T; You have to do it to get an A ?! That seems kind of ... unfair . D; Well then, we had to dance and do gymnastics WELL to get an A . D: I can nooot do either . D; |
i can touch the backs of my hands on the ground no problem xD i just happen to be extremely flexible. i can also do splits and touch my foot to my head. im woring on doing a scorpian :3 i can also lick my elbow, pop my shoulders out of their sockets [[sorta, its double jointed]], my thumbs pop, i can put my thumb behind my hand, and cros my legs twice while sitting. OHHH and that yoga thing where i put ur feet on top of ur legs. then i can get up and walk on my knees from there xDD im an odd one!!!!

I got the best score in the school for the 'sit and reach' thing we had to do in PE xD I reached past my toes and got the middle of my forearms to my toes which surprised me almsot as much as everyone else :lol: No idea how I got this way as I'm totally unfit and could do bugger all else they wanted us to do in PE lol |
I think that's really harsh of your school to require certain fitness or flexibility levels of their students...at the school I went to all we had to do was try hard and attempt everything we're told to do.
Anyway, as for being flexible...I'm not as flexible as I used to be but I tried touching my toes with legs straight standing up just then and I found I could still do that. But I know I can't do the splits even though I used to be able to as a kid. |

If I was so inclined to, I can easily suck both of my big toes. Not both at once mind you. A nice little thing I have been able to do since I was an infant. Much to my mother's embarassement I prefered to suck on my toes rather than my thumbs.
Does it count it you have to bend your knees to touch your toes? |

well. not that flexible. my back hurts a lot when I try to do some flexable poses xD
although when I'm relaxed I can be very flexible... not telling in which situation, but you can imagine x) oh, and of course I can touch my toes :3 not hard. |
Girls are supposed to be naturally more flexible than guys.
I remember stretching routines in ballet class... we had to spread our legs out all the way against the wall. Ouch. Even though I took ballet for three years, I'm not very flexible since I had to quit when I was in third grade. I can reach past my toes easily~ It's helps that I have pretty long arms but overall height is short. The only thing I can't do in gym are push ups and pull ups. >.< I agree with Ling - we only need effort. Most of the kids are chubby anyways. |

O_O that was unheard of when i went to school. but i can touch my toes xD i use to be able to do the splits, but from not practicing the right stretches for awhile, i haven't been able to do them anymore xD i don't seem to have any tricks up my sleeve though, sadly. |

I'm pretty darn flexible because I did ballet for 8 years [ but I quit a few years ago ]. I can touch my toes pretty easily, barely do the splits, and do a back-bend. I used to be able to do the splits no-problem, but I don't regularly stretch anymore. > 3< Ooh, and I can bend my thumb forward and touch my arm. xDD It sounds grosser than it seems...
And that sucks that you hafta be flexible to get A in gym. That's not really fair... |

I'm not very flexible. x__x But I can touch my toes and put my legs/feet behind my head when I'm sitting down. :0 That seems kinda dumb, that you have to touch your toes to pass gym class. |

I'm very flexible.
I can touch my toes. Lick my elbow. Tongue to the nose. Put my leg / foot behind my head. And more. And I have a strange habit of sitting in weerd positions that others can't, Because its more comfortable for me. XP |
Haha. I used to take Gymnastics when I was smaller. Ever since I've had somewhat flexibility..although I'm not as flexible as I used to be, I can still touch my toes after 3 tries, and I can sit down and put my nose to my knee on like, my fifth try. ;3;
It's amazing how once you do gymnastics - it sticks. o.o Like..it's been, what, almost 5 or maybe 6 years since I last did Gymnastics and yet I can still fall back into a bridge from standing position, and I can still do a perfect cartwheel & round-off. ;3 Though as I remember it, Gymnastics was no fun. D: I think I only had 1 friend there - and she didn't come much. :( I've totally given up on that now, I'm into Competitive swimming now-a-days. ;3 I wish I COULD be a tad bit more flexible so I could do better in swimming, buy meh. I'm good enough. ;3 |
My body is as stiff as it can be, and I have zero talent when it comes to sports, I can't even kick a ball for the life of me! Yes, I'm a loser like that, but well, I've been so for as long as I can remember.

i'm like, half way to doing the splits either way, doing a bridge from standing position, but other then that, i can do round offs, cart wheels, etc. :3 |
