Role-playing is my specialty, boya. I truly enjoy playing the part of Evangeline A K McDowell, the vampire Gothic Lolita schoolgirl from "Negima".
A slice of how I'd RP: Facing "Colonel Sanders" for real this time, Evangeline incants her most powerful spell: "LIC LAC LALAC LILAC To sumbolaion diakonētō moi, hē krustallinē basileia! Epigenēthētō, taiōnion erebos, Haiōnie Krustalle! Pasais Zōais ton Ison Thanaton, hos Ataraxia! Kosmikē"... Robbed of his immunity by the fall of his many magical barriers and magical defenses, Sander stares in shock as Evangeline snaps her fingers. "...Katastrophē!" she finishes. A huge shattering sound is heard as the perverted mage finally shatters into a thousand fragments of ice. Evangeline was finally avenged, and could continue her search for Nagi Springfield, "The Thousand-Master" How was it, folks? ;) |
i would like to join a rollplaying topic but there isnt really any that i would fit into.
pluss my past experiance and roll as a drunk need spersific subjects in order to work. you can only sumble about the place so many times lol. |
I'm not really a roleplayer anymore.
I used to do it all the time I was on the computer. I love writing,and it was chance to talk to other people while still enjoying a little writing session. Although I've grown out of it,I still sometimes wander into Roleplays just to read x3 Its interesting to see how people indicate a fictional situation,and how they make it seem so real o__o It was a good past time,but now I just enjoy debating c: |
Yeah I have been role playing for about 2 years now or so and I think im quite a literate person. Though, I don't think I have found that person yet that can rp in a way that I wouldn't get bored of it.

I like to roleplay im not very good at it tho but i still find it fun What i look for in a partner is someone whos ideas i can play off ^_^

I've been role-playing for years - I used to be a Dungeon Mistress for a couple of D&D campaigns ("Forgotten Realms" and "Ravenloft") a while back. I moved on to anime and computer games after our group finally split when everyone graduated and scattered around the world. But I still indulge myself by RPing in a few Gaia guilds, and wouldn't mind doing it here if a thread can be kept organized.
In fact, since there is none, I feel like starting a "Negima" RP thread in the RP forum, if enough people are interested in the show. :) |

You know, I first started rping on Neopets. How's that for pathetic? I actually joined Gaia because Np was down one night, and I was stuck at my mom's work. I was looking for a place to roleplay. And here on Mene, I seem to find a lot more fun literate people, who aren't all literacy nazis. I love you all!
I've found that I like partners who are working with me, not against me. Even during a fight scene, we ought to be together on this! I'm rather attached to my characters, so I want partners who know their characters as well as I know mine. I rarely look for romance. If it happens between our characters, cool, but I try not to plan it (Cupid plotline and the one I've got planned for StormRose nonwithstanding). And I'm always looking for new partners (hint-hint)! |
I use to roleplay all the time, not on here, but now I don't anymore.
It was actually around a year ago, in the middle of summer, on gaia, that I started rping. I would join so many rps at once, I remember having like 7 different rps that were active in my subscribed threads. I would also make my own. Eventually, they all died from the lack of people posting. Usually, when it died, I was the last person to post because I wanted it to last as long as possible. I even made rps on mules. Well, I didn't join anymore after they all died, because 1) I was too busy with school and sports and 2) There wasn't any good rps out there. And there still isn't. They mostly are only vampire or slave rps. That is what they mostly are. It makes me sad. I never really looked on Menewsha for rps because I might be disapointed in what I find. I also didn't look because I don't really feel like it and I think I would let people down because I really don't go on when I'm at my mom's, maybe for a few minutes, so I wouldn't get to post much. I kind of wish I could have time, maybe then I would join one. |
I roleplay a lot...but I have a little trouble getting into it on large public forums. I started on one of my own forums, you see...so I'm used to being around people I know.
That, and...I can rarely find a good plot one of my existing characters can fit in on a public forum, and I don't like having to create a new character every time I see something I want to join. Generally, those who I like to RP with are just...anyone who doesn't try to suck all the fun out of everything for anyone but themselves. I don't mind if someone does stupid things once in a while...but honestly, there's this one kid on my forum...he's 9, and PAINFULLY stubborn. Like me, minus literacy skills and a dislike for bothering people. XD You see, I have something pinned up at the top of the roleplaying board on my forum that's something like the AMP here. He completely ignores it and gives all his characters god-like powers, tries to make the RP center around him, and actually gets mad when people ignore him when he runs off to do something TOTALLY unrelated to what's going on. He's not a bad person...but he's very irritating. ^^; Thanks to my experience with him...basically what I look for in a partner is someone who's not him. XD |
I love role playing! When I read a really interesting role play story, it makes my hyperventalate (I do not know if I spelled that correctly) because I get so excited to join in the adventure. I love making characters and creating different personalities. As the story unfolds, the characters develop more as does their personalities.
