Welcome to the NHK!
I finally started getting hooked on the series! It's a great series for an older audience of anime/manga! I started with the novel first discovering that it had an amazing story plot and I got into the manga. The manga is really good but the Anime was the best. It was so colorful. It's a true inspiration for any hikikomori. (I wonder if there are any in the US?!)
So has anyone heard of the series? Did you read the novel/manga/anime? Did you like the series? Whose your favorite character? |
I've only read the manga, but I want to watch the anime eventually. But the covers on the DVDs are so dirty, lol. I would never be able to walk up to a clerk and buy them. >__< But anyways, it's very interesting and funny. But it's also sad because a lot of it is very true. And yes, there are really hikikomori in the U.S., I know one. xD |
I too would buy the anime but I know I'd never get passed to pay for it! (since I'm not over the age for the ratings of it!) I'll probably buy it online or on the website since I don't have to get the awkward stare from the people! haha.
Hikikomori in the US? I'd love to meet one sometime. I might be considered one but I only go outside to hang out with my girlfriend. haha. I feel so sorry for Satou but I love realistic animes/manga series. They always have the biggest impact. |
Yeah, that's a good idea. :0 Maybe I'll buy it online when I get money around Christmas. [I wouldn't want to force my dad to buy it, imagine the stares he'd get] Yeah, but I think it's better now that he got a job. You have a girlfriend, so I don't think you're one. :'D And I agree. Realistic anime, especially if it relates to you, can leave a lasting impression. |
I turn hikikomori a lot...
I heard the manga was a lot better and even a bit disturbing compared to the anime though? So I really need to get it. I'm up to like episode 12 of the anime. |
