Vincent took the remote and flipped it to see if anything was on. When it hit something about animals he kept it there.

The ringing remained in her ears as she blindly watched the show.

Vincent's body almost seemed weakend at this point and his eyes closed. Resting his eyes it seemed as though there was something on his mind.
|
She looked over at him with a tilted head "Tired" she asked, still in a daze but not as bad as before.
|
"A little but not much," he admitted lazily. "Did a lot of research."
|
She tilted her head "Oh? On what?" She asked, more conscious now that there was a reason for her to be.
|
"Stuff," Vincent answered closing his eyes to rest them slightly.
|
She nodded and leaned her head on her shoulders. She laughed a little, thinking of a poem she had written when she was younger, but didn't recite it.

"Sometimes I wonder how the world has gotten this way," Vincent said in a bit of a tired voice. "So frightening at times that all you want to do is crawl in a hole."

She laughed a little, "Aww, don't go an' do that..." She said, getting a little tired. Without thinking, she started reciting the poem she had bouncing and swirling around her head, changing the words to fit her, "My name is Risa, lover of nature, and my heart beats, only to stop when you are gone. Are you blind? Have you lost all sense? Can you not see? My soul springs to life, only when I am with you. My eyes gain their sparkle, only in you presence. My hair stands on end, only by your touch. My feet work, only so I can stay with you. I am Risa, lover of nature, and my heart beats, only to stop when you are gone." When she realized what she had just said to him, she gasped, turning pink, and looked at him with wide eyes.

Vincent paused in his thoughts when he heard Risa speak. He listened carefully to her words smiling slightly at them but feeling awkward at the same time. He turned to look at her when she finished. "That was very nice," he said at last.

Her eye twitched, "IT'S JUST A POEM!" She yelled at him, then ran to her room and slammed the door, cursing at her self.

Vincent looked confused since he was commenting on the poem. He shrugged though and continued watching the television set.

She held Argento in her arms and started talking to him nervously. "Do you think he took it the wrong way?! Why did I have to say that poem? How long should I hide? WHY AREN'T YOU TALKING TO ME?!" She screamed, aggravated that her stuffed bear would not reply. Soon she feel asleep, still asking the occasional question. {Sorry I haven't been on in a while, lots of really big assignments at school lately X_X}

Vincent finally grew frustrated and went up stairs. He found her asleep though so he took a chair and sat in it, waiting to see when she'd wake up. he found it hard to stay awake and ended up dozing off in the chair, which wasn't too comfortable. |
{lolz I got no homework, which means I did, but I'm not gonna do it until advisory on Tuesday...WAHAHAAHA!!} She woke up at dawn and saw Vincent sleeping on her chair. In her demented state of mind she didn't know what to think of it, resulting in her screaming and Benjamen rushing in. She stopped screaming when he came in and looked back and fourth between Vincent and Benjamen with puppy dog eyes.

Vincent was jerked awake by screaming and looked utterly confused. He saw Risa then and jumped to his feet, ready to take on anything that might attack her.

Benjamen walked over and stood in front of her defensively grumbling "You okay?" To Risa, as he glared at Vincent. Her eyes widened "N-no, B-Bennjee, -II mean I a-am okay, h-he ju-just scared me, g-go back t-to bed..." She half pleaded as she stuttered her response.

Vincent backed slightly away when he felt her brother glaring at him. A guilty expression crossed his face as he did this and he bowed his head as if to hide something, though there was nothing to hide.

He grumbled to Vincent as he walked away glaring the whole time "Don't try anything funny, hear boy? I'm overprotective to my sister there and you're not welcomed by me in this house." Risa grumbled something about not needing to be protected as he left, then she turned to Vincent. "So what 'cha need?"

"I was just sitting here to make sure you'd be all right and make sure you'd get help if you needed it. You kind of stormed out earlier," he said softly feeling a bit hurt by the brother's words. "Why does your brother hate me?"

She shook her head back and fourth "I didn't mean to, sorry, and it's not you, he's just way too over protective, which is stupid because he knows I'm stronger than him anyway so he couldn't really do anything more for me even if I did need it, which, of course, I never do."

He was comforted by his words but in a way not enough. He shifted slightly on the chair. "Why did you scream?" he finally asked.

She shrugged "I don't know. I'm just a jumpy person, I guess..." She said, asking herself the same question.

Vincent just nodded to her response, accepting it since he didn't think there was any different one.
