She glanced at the clock. It was midnight. "Around six..." she said with a sigh, closing her eyes again at the thunder. She glared at the window and grumbled curse words at the storm "...scaring me to...stupid piece of...storm" She said, only parts were actually audible.

He looked calm now and he was resting a bit. "Six o'clock," he muttered. He looked exhausted and he didn't do much now. "I'm so glad its storming," he admitted. "The less I can smell of those rotten beasts." The lasts words sounded more like a combination between a snarl and a growl rather than speach.

She simply nodded a little, and slowly, she fell asleep. She shook a little every time the thunder boomed again, waken just the least.

He watched her for a while but ended up falling asleep after a while. He always seemed to sleep better after bouts of anger.

She was woken by a door slamming. She looked sleepily at the clock and saw it was almost six in the morning. She stretched and rolled off the chair, crawling upstairs to see what it was.

Vincent twitched slightly when the slamming door sounded. He didn't wake though and seemed generally displeased at the dream he was having.

She saw it was Benjamen so she went back down to Vincent. "Vincent," She said quietly, placing one hand on his shoulder to try to wake him up, "Benny is here," She continued, hoping that would wake him up.

Vincent was aroused more easily than he thought by Risa's voice. he looked up at her with a blank expression and when her words registered he nodded slightly.

She smiled a little "We can go anytime you want," She said softly, "I've already told Benny," She added. Then she went upstairs and got her bags, added the few things she'd left out, and brought them to the front door.

"You have quite a few things," he commented standing up and stretching. "Will we be taking the horses?" He hadn't actually gone out to the barn recently and was curious to know if they were actually still there.

She smiled and nodded, then felt a silence fixing to fall over them{O_o WTF}, so she added "I'd never leave a pet behind for anything, not even my life," She thought that over for a minuet "Although, I don't believe anyone would actually go to the trouble of killing me for a horse..." She thought aloud, mainly to herself.

"Well you are worth much, much more than a horse," Vincent said nonchalantly as an impulsive gesture for the most part. He loved the horses because of what they stood for, freedom.

She smiled "Thank you," She said to be polite and shuffled outside to pet Cloud.

"You're welcome," Vincent said with a slight smile. He watched her walk out and let out a sigh. It followed her after a moment and looked at Cloud and then to his own horse.

She smiled at him when he came out then went back to stroking Cloud's nose slowly. {Shadowfax, but there is also Sephiroth.}

"Ah, Shadowfax," Vincent said gently. The horse neighed slightly and nudged his arm. |
She smiled and started talking to Cloud "It's been a while, old friend," Cloud neighed and shook his head up. She laughed "My very own personal sun shine, how lovely." She said to cheerfully.

Vincent half-ignored her as he stroked Shadowfax, who seemed to be fairly pleased at the present moment. He froze though and then buried his face in Shadowfax's mane.

She looked over at him with a tilted head "Are you okay?" She asked quietly, taking a tiny step towards him.
|
Vincent shook his head, staying as still as he could. "We need to go now," he said sternly. "Or get me inside quickly. I can smell another one of those vile beasts coming."

She looked out into the trees then back at him. "Lets go inside, they would catch us if we left, and I don't want to put the horses in danger." Then she waved her arms to them to go inside and they obeyed, trotting into their barn. She walked inside with him and shut the door sternly behind them. "Benny-jamen..." She bit her lip, remembering he didn't like nick names.

Vincent practically sprinted inside and once he was inside he leaned against the wall. He was shaking slightly and he shook his head a few times. "I need distraction," he said more to himself than anyone.
He moved swiftly to the couch and sat down flipping on the television and staring at it intensely. |
She laughed and skipped over to him "No, you don't know the good channels," She said, sitting down next to him "give me the remote I will find you anything. And I mean it when I say that. A-NY-THING." She said with a grin as wide as the moon."May I?" She asked, extending her hand as to offer him to give her the remote.

"Just get me distracted," he said putting the remote in her hand. He was watching her out of the corner of his eye now. He was feeling intensely uncomfortable and having her near was starting to calm him down.

Her eyes shrunk into slips and she stuck her tongue out happily, then she pressed a few buttons and the channel changed to a mindless and repetitive cartoon. She grinned and moved her head back and fourth with the little song that played while the cat chased the mouse through the house. "distracting enough?" She asked with a laugh.
