My voice is a little too low.

And VERY loud.

Like I whisper and EVERYONE heres me. I talk and people in other rooms hear me. I scream, those of you in the UK hear me (I'm in America).

C0NTRA 05-18-2008 04:40 PM

Usually medium to low.
I sound like a guy.

Though my voice does get towards a higher, more girly tone, sometimes.
I also seem to randomly attain and discard a valley girl accent, which is weird, considering that I grew up around rednecks, and never saw any appeal in the valley girl fad.

Sagitar 05-18-2008 04:42 PM

haha.. I just finished watching a video from friday night.. we were drunk and played Singstar.... we sang ALL the songs and we sounded SO horrible xD we were pretty drunk and we were just having fun messing around.. but the result is horrible =DD atleast we had fun!

FlyPanda 05-18-2008 09:55 PM

my usual voice that i have isn't too high or too low, but i don't like the sound of it too much...it just sounds like a cartoon character i guess, not that anyone makes fun of it it's just that whenever i listen to my voice on the camera or something i feel like i'm listening to a little kid sometimes xD

Earth_Dragon_Thoth 05-18-2008 09:58 PM

I'd say my voice is rather loud and high pitched. It's just... I can't whisper without having my voice heard by someone sitting next to me or something Dx It's annoying really.
Then when I talk in class I feel like my voice is echoing around the class room even though it is full Dx
My mom and my sisters and my step-dad agree that my voice is loud, perhaps too loud. That's what my best friends mother says. xD
I was staying over at her place once and we were whispering then she came in and told us to be quiet and that I was being too loud xD lol.

kimu 05-18-2008 10:12 PM

I don't really have my own "voice" because I tend to go from high pitched [ usually ] to normal, to some weird voice I came up with, tooo my more deep voice, although it can't be really called deep :'D I have a mix of everything, you could say.

Marina Toriama 05-18-2008 10:31 PM

My voice sounds soft and, well, about a middle-ish tone. ^^ Though, it's harsh just as often as it is soft.

Kiriya 05-18-2008 10:58 PM

My voice can get annoyingly pitchy sometimes, but its highish lowish.. Not squeaky high and not man deep, but enough to imitate sabastian (from the Little Mermaid) pretty well.

Krystyne 05-19-2008 12:41 AM

My voice is entirely too deep and yucky for my taste; I have too much of a hick accent, too, so I sound like a mannish redneck. >.<

Liverpool Glasgow 05-19-2008 12:48 AM

Mine... oh. Hm. Well, it depends. Some people would find it really annoying if they were to hear my yell the first time they met me. I believe my voice is a little, tiny bit, on the higher pitched side? I can't really explain my own voice though, since all I hear is my head voice. I just know I hate my voice when I hear it not as my head voice. x.x

antisnottist 05-19-2008 01:42 AM

My voice is pretty deep. But it changes now and then. Like I have a, what I call, "social voice", because when I'm talking to people I don't know, or don't know well, my voice tends to get higher and a lot more friendly.
And also, when I sing, I sing high pitched (my cousin made fun of me for this). It's weird

Roxzie Roller 05-19-2008 05:31 AM

One word to describe my voice.
Geeky.

MasterChiefrei 05-19-2008 06:02 AM

My voice changes depending on who I'm talking to. XD
When I'm at a restaurant or answering the phone I have a girly, nice voice and don't speak up too loudly. But if I'm talking to family and friends it's a little deeper and louder. Then when I get on Xbox live to play Gears of War I sound like a 13 year old boy and usually confuse non friended peeps. Some can pick up that I'm a girl but most believe me to be a lil boy so it's pretty funny because they get pissed when I kill them off. XD
Anyways I love to do voices to make friends laugh but my other friend is better at it than me. *sulk*

Claudia 05-19-2008 06:10 AM

I hate my voice..People ignore me over it. I wish it would sound like what I hear in my mind. In the real world, things are different.

rockin904 07-14-2008 06:42 AM

I have a deep voice but when i am playful, I should like a 8 year old kid. XD

Captain Howdy 07-14-2008 07:02 AM

I don't like my voice. I've never liked my voice. Albeit, I liked it more post-puberty. It's not too high, it's not too low. But I still wouldn't call it average. I have, in my opinion, a dorky voice. I cringe to hear it recorded. If i'm aware that there is something nearby that can pick it up and record, I won't talk. Perhaps a bit extreme. :B

thoughtlessamaya 07-14-2008 07:52 AM

I have a little bit of a high pitch.
Its calm though (:

The Wandering Poet 07-14-2008 08:13 AM

I haven't actually checked... I don't talk enough to really know... though, with my girlfriend I usually say things extra soft for her because of her high hearing...

Strands 07-14-2008 09:32 AM

My voice is kind of girly, actually.
Ugh, I hate it.

It's really soft too and no one can ever hear what I'm saying.

My voice is naturally very low and deep. But generally when I'm talking in my natural voice people tend to have a bit of trouble hearing me. They also sometimes make fun of me for my low voice, so several years ago I got into the habit of talking in a higher voice. Not a baby voice or stereotypically gay voice (I'm not bashing gays, I'm talking about the stereotypical voice they're portrayed with, and sadly, often have), just a higher voice.

Sadly, because of years without using my natural voice often enough, the higher voice has pretty much become my new natural voice, and whenever I talk in my low voice I tend to yawn a lot or my throat gets sore.

I hate that it's hard to talk like I should, but I couldn't handle being teased and repeatedly having people say, "Speak up, I can't hear you!"

I'm slowly making my voice lower again, though. I really miss my low voice, and if someone asks me to speak up when/if I manage to gain it back, I'll tell them to get a hearing aid. I miss my voice. </3

Duchess 07-14-2008 11:40 AM

I think my voice is ...normal. Although sometimes I have the notion to believe that my voice sounds annoying.. but.. maybe that's just my self-consciousness xDD
@ Captain Howdy
I don't like recording my voice either j_j

I normally talk really softly (not on purpose.. it just is). People used to always tell me to speak-up but I never thought I was talking softly! I talk louder than that now so they only tell me to speak-up sometimes.
When I'm angry, excited or having fun.. gosh, I'm LOUD. >o<; (And I don't even notice xD )

It also depends what language I'm talking in. In my mother tongue (xD ), I speak in a baby-ish voice x_X (I hate it but I can't help it)
and in English I speak.. "normally"??

Insane Cricket 07-14-2008 12:16 PM

Yeah, I get loud and kinda squeaky when I'm really excited about something. -Nod-

Madd 07-14-2008 12:50 PM

*shrugs* It's low enough for people to mistake me for a guy if they're not looking directly at me. (ie: phone conversations etc..)

Others say I talk too loud. Whatever.

Stefan Krieger 07-14-2008 01:41 PM

My voice isn't that nice.
It's quiet and sounds like a guys voice.
(I'm a girl)
